Fort Worth Fire Department: Two Alarm Strip Mall Fire

On Saturday, November 25th, Fort Worth Fire responded to GIGI Beauty Supply in East Fort Worth for a large fire. This structure is the location of a previous fire only a few months prior. The fire extended to neighboring stores in the shopping center. No injuries occurred. The cause of the fire is unknown.

What’s the staffing like on squad 2? They showed up and nobody got out

Squad 2 is the only 24/7 fully staffed Rescue company in the city. It is staffed with 4 firefighter/EMT/tech rescue/HAZMAT technicians. Nobody got out of the truck because they were likely just staging, waiting to be given an assignment

It may have either fallen off or was taken off. The one on the original E-14 Velocity kept falling apart, so they took it off.
