Thanks for this - there's a bit of an art to getting the alignment just right on a scanned file (especially if your scan wasn't totally flat to begin with!) but it's TOTALLY do-able!! Now to figure out how to get all the symbols recognized...
I never thought to come here to see that you added this pattern that I sent to you. I just struggled through the pattern and finished it. I now understand better about adjusting the row and column numbers. I thought you had to keep it at what the actual chart said! Thanks for the last 2 videos. Will help me so much in the future.
Hi Nancy, thanks for your upload. I thought this was a good example which I thought would be useful to share on our UA-cam channel. Hopefully it will help other users to understand at a high level the kind of the process required to import and straighten up an image of a chart. Thanks again!
Hi Greta, if the magazine is digital I guess you could save a screen shot as a .jpg file and load that in. Alternatively, if the chart is over multiple pages you could save the screen shots individually and them combine them into a single PDF document using an online editor.
@@markuprxp, can you add more pdf pages or image files to a project? Or does it all have to be imported as one pdf upon initial setup of a project? For example, I have a pdf of the chart, key, and instructions. I have a photo of the sample from the kit packaging as a jpg or png file. Can I add the photo to a project that I started with the pattern pdf? Thank you.
@@avivacrichton6922 you currently can't add additional pages to an existing project. You would need to combine all the pages together in a single PDF and then load that into Markup R-XP. We are looking to add this feature in a future update. You can vote on it from our Trello board, see trello.com/c/jtQW7xjI. Thanks
Thank you again for another great tutorial. I do appreciate your clear instructions, very helpful for a senior 😜

How do you get a digital magazine into XP
