I was able to beat it with Skeledirge, but it was dicey. First off, Serperior's Leaf Storm, even with Unaware and the type resistance, was doing around 1/4 of Skeledirge's HP (and he was built just like in the video). I had to spend turns healing with Slack Off whenever I reached half, cause if I didn't, Serperior would outspeed me and finish me off. I even had to rely on Heal Up Cheers to help me out, and there was a NPC Gardevoir with Life Dew to help me as well. I ended up not being able to use Sunny Day.
Just got myself a shiny Galarian Slowking... and now I got a reason to use it! I'm also gonna try Ice Scales Frosmoth as a possible counter as well, but if Serperior has Aerial Ace Frosmoth is a no-go.
Got it first try with Skellidurge! My plan originally was to use him anyways, he was already trained in sp. Atk and health, capped and ready to go! The tip about getting slack off onto him helped a ton, I was able to keep him terrastalized the whole battle with it.
Maybe galarian weezing with the neutralizing gass ability, it resist grass and is immune to dragon pulse. Item ability shield moves toxic, acid spray, venoshock, smokescreen or any other move
I had it listed as a supporter in my previous video with neutralizing gas running acid spray, sludge bomb, clear smog, and protect. I like shell bell on it for recovery but ability shield also works great too
If there is an turn 0 shield and leaf storm is in the regular move set you would be better off with the Skeledirge build or you’ll forced to spam clear smog every turn or risk getting hit by a +6 special attack
Doesn’t skill swap keep the raid bosses ability after they remove your abilities. Once the abilities come back on the next turn isn’t it still the raid boss ability?
@heidinna yes I have been done that and also I already found it and beat it and caught it it's just for some reason even when it's pit it takes awhile for me to find one and pluse for my game to update

Clear smog would be good to have if it's a turn 0 shield as well, so maybe something like Ceruledge or Armarouge

Ya you keep ability unless they remove it by using something like gastro acid which Serperior will most likely have since it’s moveset is very limited
