Nice video Paul, I use this method also a lot. Another great tool I use for this is making a structuremap of it. I don`t know why not many people use the structuremap feature but it is an excellent tool for mapping and visualizing structure.

Hey Paul, I have a hds 9 gen 2 touch. I'm having issues getting a split screen with side scan and down scan. When I swap to down scan the other pages switch too. If you could help that would be great.
Lowrance has 2 screens. The screens on the Main page are all Screen-1's. Always leave this StructureScan Screen-1 as StructureScan. Create combos with StructureScan Screen-1 and Screen-2. Make Screen-2 as DownScan. Example of 2D / DownScan combo: Drag&drop 2D screen into combo(Screen-1). Drag&drop SS screen into combo(Screen-1). Drag&drop DS screen into combo(Screen-2). Remove SS screen from combo(Screen-1). QED
Jacob, if you touch the screen on the object you are waypoint and it gives it a latitude and longitude location it shouldn't be off if you are using a point 1 antenna, but if you are just pushing the waypoint button twice it is marking where the unit is so possible 8 ft or the distance from the transducer to the unit. Yea when i was marking the waypoint i noticed another brushpile (multiple piles on side and down) when i was saying that i was meaning the larger pile would be a little past it. after listening to it i can see how it can be a little confusing. my apologies if you see the end of the video you can see all the piles i was talking about. Hope this helps clear it up
Awesome tip. I never thougth of doing that. I only marked one waypoint and always had trouble getting back to it. No more doing it the old way. Thanks

Larry Clifton pages settings, chart, uncheck course extension and make sure heading extension is checked then follow your blue line
how do you set that straight line in front of the triangle?

How do you get each way point you made on all your graphs
they just need to be networked and it will share between them
PaulGettysFishing is it in your setting. Can you do it with a lowrance hook 4 and a hummingbird unit
no and the hook 4 is not able to be networked with a humminbird
