Moderator's message: "Hide your chickens. Hide your ale." Sofie is back with another amazing reaction. Please enjoy it and comment below. Just avoid spoiling future episodes. Thank you!
I hope you watch a funny spoof of the Hound in a KFC advert: ua-cam.com/video/WR_X9fxSGY4/v-deo.html
Sounds like a great start to an epic poem: "Hide your chickens. Hide your ale. Bug Sandor Clegane and you'll soon be pale!"
"Someone wanted dead doesn't just take a walk in broad daylight..."
The writers 'kinda forgot' that Arya was street-smart and not an idiot.
Well lucky she fell into that nice clean sewage water and didn't bleed out.
Arya had prepared for this (the candle). It is possible that she knew she would be pursued, and stood out in the open as bait - but was still caught off guard by the old lady. She knew she had to deal with what was coming 'before' heading back to Westeros, or else she would always be looking over her shoulder.
Some context that makes the Siege of Riverrun more impactful; Blackfish was the person who inspired Jamie to become a knight in the first place. He spent a period of his childhood in Riverrun (while Tywin was serving as Hand to Aerys) as a ward of Lord Hoster Tully, Cat's father, and frequently hounded the Blackfish with questions about the nature of knighthood. So, Jamie has just met one of his idols, the person who made him who he is today... and found out he was a disappointment to him. One can only imagine how devastating that must feel.
Which is the disappointment, Brynden or Jaime?
@@NiKiMa023 Blackfish found Jamie disappointing.
“The person who made him who he is today” lmao, stop reaching. This is why you should not post your version of the story.
@@wooshbait36 Hardly "my version of the story" when it's the actual events in the show's history, it's obvious that Tywin didn't have much influence on Jaime, given that Tywin was renowned for his intelligence and Jaime couldn't read until he was 15, and that's WITH tutoring. The only other adult we know had any kind of influence on him as a child... Blackfish, hence, Blackfish made him who he is today.
@@scotthadden9816 Lmao, you have to be trolling
The reveal of the Hound was a great moment, and your reaction to it did not disappoint! Lady Lyanna Mormont is great! It was said by many fans at the time that if she was the one with three dragons, the war would have been over yesterday. 😉
About Jon wanting to go to Winterfell without asking more houses to join, I think it was mainly three reasons: 1) Winter is coming and he doesn't want to be caught outside in it. 2) There is a sense of urgency since Ramsay has Rickon. 3) If Jon goes to the wrong house, they could take him prisoner and give him to Ramsay.
It makes sense. Thank you
“He doesn’t need a drink.. he needs therapy” 😂😂😂😂 truest words
Best thing in 2023 so far.... Sofie's surprised face when she saw The Hound alive.
Yara talking to Theon and showing him so much love was really sweet. She loves her brother.
Alfie Allen is such a terrific actor, the transition into Theon Greyjoy was stunning.
Sofie, the line about hiding your chickens and ale was priceless! Great reactions! Bella Ramsey, or Lady Mormont, was so impressive in her acting debut! She can be seen with Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal) in "The Last of Us" which debuts on Jan 15th! But she was an immediate fan favorite, as well as a favorite for Dan and Dave. Also, great take on the "Broken Man." I enjoyed that as well! Happy New Year, and see you in the next video!
Seeing Al Swearengen and The Hound in the same scenes... **chef's kiss**
Your reaction the moment you spotted the Hound was just priceless!🥹
Think of it this way, Brienne is a real fighter. At the start, she ran through the tournament and beat Loras in the final to become kingsguard, the highest order of fighters good enough to protect the king in normal circumstances. The hound had an infection Arya pointed out at the bloody gate just before he fought Brienne and lost. I'm glad he didn't die like he did in the books
I'm not entirely convinced that he did die in the books. BOOK SPOILERS. When Brienne goes to that island, they have Stranger, the Hound's horse, and there is a guy digging graves who is described as being bigger than Brienne, his face is covered by a cowl, and he's limping. We know the Hound has little regard for other people, and the gravedigger spatters soil at them as they walk past, and we know from the fact that Stranger bites and kicks anyone other than him that he must treat his horse well, and the gravedigger scratches Dog's ear. I'm not sure whether he'll ever show up again in the books, but I think that the gravedigger is Sandor living a new life. As far as he'd know, his brother is dead and Arya left him. If he did survive, he has no purpose, and on the Quiet Isle, at least people will leave him alone.
@@vulture_5212 that could be true. George Martin has a tendency to revive characters and the hounds story arc abruptly ended. I hope he finishes his next books soon
The start of this episode is the Best cold open in the whole series In my opinion
Yeah, the whole situation with Arya in this episode was beyond f'ing stupid. Made absolutely no sense. Luckily, I think you're really going to enjoy some of these episodes coming up soon.
Thank you for tonight's entertainment Sofie. I am really enjoying this Game Of Thrones journey with you..
Looking forwards to the next episode.
who would have guessed that we would find the hound in a hippie colony?? and Liana the Mormon? do you remember the letter to Stannis too? after what was said in it, no wonder she remained loyal to Stark!"we recognize only one king, and that is the king in the north, whose name is Stark"!
Finally you met THE QUEEN LYANNA MORMONT
Lord Glover delivered one of the biggest burns of all time. 😬
-Margaery is not just playing a dangerous game... shes palying the game of her life. Its safe to assume, that her plan is to put loras in Highgarden, by admiting and pretending to be a religious man! walking free, he can go to Highgarden. There, he is safe! Where the High Sparrow cannot do nothing against him, or use him against Margaery! I guess the second part, would be convincing Tommen going against High Sparrow. Perhaps the Tyrell Army (which by now is the largest and not touch by any war) could march into Kingsland, again and kill every sparrow! Or Maybe, she could expose High Sparrow publicly. the common folks, love Margaery, and perhaps they would protect her against High Sparrow, once she expose his true intentions.
-Olenna and Cersei scene is a interesting one. if we look back, Tywin was writting to house frey to betray Rob stark, to get Jaime back and end the war. Then Cersei was pretending to write, while talking to Lady Olenna. And now, Lady Olenna is writting orders while talking to Cersei. The difference is that both tywin and Olenna were actually doing something. While Cersei was just pretending to annoying Olenna, and looking important. Olenna doesnt have patience or even trust her. By now, Lady Olenna, just wants Cersei away from her family. Cersei destroyed every bridge betwen them. So, Lady Olenna is saying to her " if you are so intelligent, just run away. because, i will not help you, or even want to know what happens to you!".
The term “broken man” including Robb Stark- you never fail to tell me more about GOT than I already knew.
Jaqen H'ghar to the Waif: "Don't Let Her Suffer..."
This was Bella Ramsey's (Lady Lyanna Mormont) first professional acting role. She's amazing.
Cant wait to see her in the last of us
@@crayonz2967 A star in the making?
Fun fact: The one who freed House Glover from the ironborn was Stannis. The show cut a lot of his movements and actions during his campaign in the North. He gained lots of houses, including the Mormonts themselves. We don't know yet if in the book he will win or lose the battle against Bolton but there's no comparison to the show version. Its pretty obvious how much the showrunners hated the character.
Hound is back baby!!!
Seeing you incredulously point out obvious plot holes and taking in the drop in writing quality is more heartbreaking than seeing you make optimistic predictions that went sour back when the writing was top tier.
(enduringly speaking) “She’s so tiny”
Me: give it a minute.
Haha, it was almost offensive to me... She grows bigger with every second she is on screen! I remember a reactor saying Awww, she is so cute! Dude... the audacity!!!
@@esterzach just had a deja-vu
You're right. Arya shouldn't have been able to survive those wounds. Talisa didn't. Many others died from only one wound to the stomach. But hey, its Arya. She has that plot armor that protects her from death.
You do know that if you don't hit vital organs you can definitely survive.
@@rx7dude2006 It's a not exactly possible for EACH of those 3-4 stab-wounds to the lower abdomen to entirely MISS her intestines.
@@atlasisshrugging
It is actually knowing first hand a friend of mine was stabbed in almost the same area and survived so...
@@atlasisshrugging Agree with you. I cut into her small or large intestines will cause peritonitis and death (since antibiotics did not exist back them)
@@rx7dude2006 "Almost" the same area doesn't count; also your friend might have had superficial stab wounds. This knife was many inches long
Comander Jorah was a Mormount he was probly writing to his Homeplace often and warn them about the situation of the the wall about deadmen, that Davos' reason only make her align with Jons agenda and possible ally against deadmen
Your reaction to seeing sandor cleagane alive was so genuine that i had tears in my eyes watching it. Lots of love keep reacting 🥰
@soFieReacts can't fool me man I know miss sofie don't have time for ur shit so stop impersonating
the storyline about the women of house mormont really got shafted on the show, but in the books it's great fun to read and easily made them my favourite house
lyanna is great, and i love her, but i wanted moooore xD
Now coming one of the best CAP The Battle of the Bastards ... 👍🏻🙌🏼😎🍷
Tormund is an MVP
"This is not Arya" = "This is not good writing". Yes, not even a dimwit would casually stroll city streets when they're hunted by an organization of assassins.
Arya had prepared for this (the candle). It is possible that she knew she would be pursued, and stood out in the open as bait - but was still caught off guard by the old lady. She knew she had to deal with what was coming 'before' heading back to Westeros, or else she would always be looking over her shoulder.
@@starytancerz there's not the slightest hint in the show for that lame excuse.
I flipping love Ian McShane, ngl. 5'7" of perfection
Love the wholesome start of the episode. The arya scenes though were laughably bad, not a good omen for where the show was heading.
exaclty! I think this is the first really bad decision they made. The Dorne plot line in s5 was kinda shity too for me, but it didn't really affect the overall story. It's great to see Sophie immediately spotting the writers' bullshit, that's a sign of an intelligent viewer. When a series for 5 season it gives you top quality black angus steak, and then starts to serve you frequently plastic burgers hoping you won't tell the difference...
Arya was a shit character after season 4, she's boring, emotionless and dimwitted. She's practically Brandon starks twin in terms of boringness.
As responded to a few comments, Arya had prepared for this (the candle and dark room already prepped). It is likely that she knew she would be pursued, and stood out in the open as bait - but was still caught off guard by the old lady. She knew she had to deal with what was coming 'before' heading back to Westeros, or else she would always be looking over her shoulder.
Great reaction👏🏻
The person who directed the arya scene was a moron. No way she survives that much stabbing and no way she is as active either. I read Maisie argued against the scene because she thought it was ridiculous. Pretty much everyone but the director thought it was a horrible idea.
16:44 I agree! lol very silly of arya to do and yeah its really dumb to be stabed three and fell into extremly dirty water and still live lol, alot of people myselfe included really disslike this scene
Lyanna Mormont is the MVP
Can wait to see your face at the cold open reveal
its called plot armor, its invincible
Just wait til the fight if you remember lol
It's not plot armor! This show shows anyone can be killed.
@@rx7dude2006 Yes, anyone can be killed, but some are damn near invincible with their level of plot armor and simply die on their accord really lol. "Oh, let me do this thing that will definitely get me killed" *Dies*
@@nikolaykomissarenko7822 Plot armor is such a weak excuse. You are looking for things to hate.
@@nikolaykomissarenko7822 And like I told another, I have a friend who was stabbed in that area and survived just fine from it and that is in the real world as well!
Just revising Game of thrones with beautiful girl 💕💕
My favorite GoT theory: Arya actually died and the Waif's been wearing her face ever since.
Sofie... please get some headphones when you reach Season 8... there is an episode where the soundtrack (to me) is 40% of the episode. Small speakers won't reproduce everything.
Watching Game of Thrones back in the day was like watching another world. But today, it is more relatable. Watching Jon Snow going from house to house and begging for help in the war, it was hard not to think of Ukraine's President Zelensky.
You can survive if you aren't stabbed in major organs, it happens to people all the time those who say otherwise are just looking for excuses to hate the show.
Can someone tell me, does she say "middlefinger" as a joke ?
Yes
Y los subtitulos?
I love this season but the scene with Ayra openly going around Braavos was so out of character and is one of the low points of the season.
She was baiting her pursuer before returning to Westeros, so she wouldn't be always looking over her shoulder. The dark room was already prepped for the trap.
Послушайте Шамана.
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I love Lady Oleana. But my favorite is Lady Leana Mormont!!! 🥰. And Sansa isn't my favorite, she thinks being a prisoner makes her know everything.
And she doesn't offer anything other than vague counsel. "Smartest person" is always said not shown.
watch the last of us jan 16 or something this girl belle ramsey as elle and yes oberon(mandelorian) pedro pascale as joel dont forget sweety
A fun fact is that in theory, sensa is still Tyrion's wife. Their mariage was never broken or anything.
It's weird that didn''t even bring it up when sent to ramsay.
They did bring it up when Littlefinger presented Sansa to the Boltons. He said that her marriage to Tyrion was never consummated, hence it was not legitimate. Ramsey later brought it up again to Sansa to torment her and accuse her of lying.
It was brought up in the conversation between Littlefinger and Roose.
First
sadly game of thrones gets bad in case of writing
