My friend gave me a useful tip of looking at the 3 star reviews. He argued that sometimes the 1 star reviews can be someone being emotionally reactive over a small defect or bad exp with seller vs a 3 star review is more likely to be a fair review and still provide pros and cons of the product. While 5 star reviews can be dishonest reviews (bribed or fake reviews).
Your friend is absolutely right!
My mom had the plunger measuring cup in the 90's from Pamper Chef...totally been around forever. It is super useful though and hers came apart easy and was machine washable
That’s what I have. Oh yeah I got it in the 90s. 😂
Yep, that cup is nothing new at all.
I got my aunts plunger cup when she passed, it’s about 30 years old!
I still have mine from Pampered Chef, too! Super handy measuring cup...also a 2 cup. Makes it so much easier with solids.
Yep, I have 2, prob about 8 or so years old. Use them daily.
The plunger measuring cups have been around for over 2 decades. I remember Alton Brown having them on the first run of Good Eats.
Pampered Chef has had one for years!
@@donnabuckner2689That’s what I was gonna say!😂
Yes, I bought one at a Pampered Chef party 30 years ago.
Such a fun conversation… I do have a silk cap but maybe it’s because I’m 60 tomorrow, it really isnt very attractive to wear - honestly - my husband doesn’t want to see that in bed next to him.
So I braid my hair at night and use a silk pillow case.
Love those e-lighters and the idea of using the frother to mix up the salad dressing - brilliant.
Thank you ladies!
I felt the same about air fryers. So much hype. I was convinced I didn’t need it… but I spend like a month w my MIL and my SIL had me using that thing constantly for veggies and nuggets for the kids and I am now HOOKED!
I have a gourmet kitchen and find myself using my rice cooker and air fryer for everything while my amazing stove and ovens sit unused now 😩
Pampered Chef has had this measuring cup out for years. Where have you people been ...lol. yes it is amazing!!!
I have the measuring cup from Pampered Chef for years!
Pampered Chef has sold that type of measuring cup for years Ladies please remember this to check if your cup says for dry/ solid ingredients or for liquid as well. This essential for baking From an old baker in Arkansas
Adjustable measuring cup has been distributed by Pampered Chef since 2000 or earlier.
Another thing I’ve found helpful when purchasing from Amazon, is to read the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews. Through that and my own personal experience, I can determine if the review is a true reflection of the product or user error. You would be surprised how many negative reviews are due to user mistakes. I also will google the item and check the reviews that way.
The plunging measuring cup was a product that pampered chef invented in the 90s…ah the memories! 😂
I use my milk frother (received one when I got married) to stir my sugar into my coffee. I then wash it off with hot water and put it back on its stand. The battery lasts forever too. I use it everyday. It helps me not spill like I did occasionally with a spoon.
I love my mister. Most of my pans say do not use the "Pam" spray.. The mister is perfect.
Yes bonnets are a life saver for the hair. I also have a frother and the lighter. If you’re a candle person…the lighter is awesome. I got the frother from IKEA…they have them for around $3-5. I’m very intrigued by the measuring cup.
The Amazon Essentials tanks are my fav!!!!
Ok I feel like most these items are a waste of money. I had the strainer and oil mister, they've been donated. Just being an old lady my grandmother had the Kleenex cover thing, next they'll be selling toilet paper, toaster, cozies again. Sorry just cheap and not buying this stuff again. Lol what's old is new again. ♥️
Agree. I feel like this list could be one of her " things I won't buy" lists it seems like half of the items are unnecessary
Thanks for saving me the timel i bought 2 oil misters, one for olive and one for canola. Both clogged despite frquent cleaning. I just didnt use them enough. It does seem like these videoes ( and "articles" google pushes to me ) are mostly finger hut, part2. I was at moms and she had a blender cover in her tea towel drawer. 😂
I am 64 and my mom had a measuring cup like that since when I was very young. I have one too. Sorry folks- not a new invention- I can remember when I was 3 using one.
Love my electric lighter so much so that I gave them as stocking stuffers to family for Christmas. Love my clip on strainer. Love my milk frother!
Literally watching this while wearing my satin night cap. Helps reduce frizz ssssso much!
That laundry bag that goes on the door is a repurposed bag they put on clotheslines for clothes pins. Give it a new name and purpose and you can double the price and put it back on the market. Funny.
I got one of those measuring cups for my wedding 10 years ago. I never used it so I gave it away and now I regret it because I never thought to use it for sticky stuff!
Literally my fave Callie tip is the laundry basket on the back of the basement door - I love that one! :)
Pam and other spray oils have butane... BUTANE in it. The mister is great! No butane 🙂
I have the lighter and tee shirts. They're great! I'm intrigued by the measuring cup.
I’ve wanted either a silk nightcap or a silk lined beanie. I have eczema so I’m pretty minimal with the products I put on my hair. I used a silk pillowcase but I still had frizzy hair! I really think a bonnet would be more beneficial since it actually contains all the long hair! Might give this one a try! I’ll try not to comment every item but I see plenty I’ve either not known about or have considered but haven’t pulled the trigger on yet. By the way, love you both. Always fun to see a collaboration!!!
I had a measuring cup like that over 10 years ago, from the Alton Brown website. Where I can say it is nice for something's I recall not enjoying hand washing it. But didn't make me not use it but made me not want to use it every time...
Just bought the first item for $4.99 at Marshall's. LOVE it
I love watching you both! I have that strainer and oil mister and they are both great. I use them all the time!
The tissue box covers - reminds me of my grandma making & gifting these that she made with yarn and this rigid plastic grid - was it needlepoint? 😆😆😆😆
Yes. Needlepoint. My grandma made those too!
My grandma did the same! ❤
Two of my favorite people in one show!!!🎉❤❤❤❤
Those measuring cups have been around for years. My mom used one in the 60s. It's a useful thing but it's not new.
THAT MEASURING CUP!!!!!!
If you return something to Amazon watch them like a hawk. Not once, but twice when I dropped off returns at UPS they sent charges to my bank instead of refunds. I went nuts all over them. Once is a mistake.....what's twice? They fixed it after me having to call them a million times. Save all your receipts for returns - you will probably need them.
Good to know. I return a lot but haven't had this happen. I do keep receipts and emails for returns!
the plunger measuring cup is also prettier than the pampered chef one -- they also have those for tablespoon/teaspoon size
Rachel, here are my frugal hair care tips. First, I embrace the hair God gave me. Second, by asking women who have a style I like and like me embrace the hair God gave them, I find a stylist and see only that stylist--relationships matter and even after moving twice in the last 15 years, I have had only 2 stylists in that amount of time. Third, I buy the shampoo my stylist recommends only from him/her and I use it all up.
I'm a Registered Dietitian. Spritzing olive oil or Avocado oil is the healthiest you can do Great job!
I love that Amazon basic shirt! I have it in black and white. Also, I need that oil mister in my life.
Do you think they tend to run long? When I saw them on Amazon before, I thought they wouldn't work for me (5'1" with a short torso), as they looked like they would work best for someone tall or with an average to long size torso. Finding tops that end at the top of my hips is like finding a unicorn! And unfortunately junior sizes are too narrow :(
I love my all measure cup from pampered chef - about same price as amazon. Love Rachel and Kallie!!
DAT MEASURING CUP!!!!!
Tissue box covers? Upgrade from Grandma’s knitted ones….remember?
Love these! Thanks Rachel & Kallie
Btw pan has propane in the ingredients
I know I’ve been watching too much rachel cruze when i can say welcome back to this episode “of-the rachel cruze show!” In my head with her exact inflextion
I heard your comment in Rachel's voice !
All the products are winners for me except the silk hair cap. That just speaks sweaty head to me. I mean most of our body heat comes from the head, right ?
I bought the oil sprayer it doesn't spray thicker oils as well olive oil squirts not sprays or mist.
This, and you two, are GREAT ! and Thank You.
Love her Dollar tree videos.
They both look like sisters.
I’ve been looking for a nice tissue cover forever!
I have a mister and hate it. It clogs up. Maybe the brand Calle is showing might not do it... but back to Pam for me..
I bought the oil mister that Kallie is showing here and the stainless steel part broke. I decided to keep the oil mister anyway because it still works. Just doesn’t look so pretty anymore.
A scale is the best way to measure. And you don't have to clean that gadget.
Wow… love both of you!
Who among us saw our moms getting excited to recieve the latest greatest household item for Christmas or her birthday and felt sad for her? Now I am my mother! 😅
This is oil mister is about to change my life!
They clog and the oil goes rancid inside of the nozzle.
I have the oil mister. It’s ok. You can control the amount of oil better.
Nice blouse
Whhaaaat I love Kallie!! 😍😍😍
We don't use any oil in our air fryer
Even for potatoes? Potatoes without oil don't really taste good. I've tried that and potatoes need oil!
@@thealexandraway we do french fries in there and they taste just like they do if you do them in oil
Same. No oil. Ever.
Good show. I love her!!!
4000 reviews usually are bought reviews. I go with the 200 ones. Those are real
Misto oil sprayers always get clogged after I use for a mth or so. I switched to a spray from costco that’s 100 percent avocado oil
Too bad the oil mister isn’t in a dark glass. :/
silly ways to spend money
This is totally off topic - but I was wondering if maybe you would consider doing a “what I eat in a day” type of video? I know you ❤️ pizza but other than that I’m just so curious about your typical eating habits!
Love these thank you!!
I hate the scam of turning everything electric to "save the planet".
If I wanted to barbeque, mow my lawn, or start a fire when getting home from work on a summer day, and I arrive to see the power is out, I like knowning I can do them for as much as I want to without worrying if my mower or lighter run out of charge.
like Like LIKE. !!!
Validated not vindicated
Girl- us with an Amazon addiction just added a few of these to our cart!!!! 😂
Yeah, I buy Very Little from Amazon. Absolutely REFUSE to buy an Amazon Prime membership, Rachel!
I love you most Always- but this is completely ridiculous.
No one needs any of these things.
Milk frothers are fantastic! I will never be without mine!
The electric lighters make a very high pitch noise and make my son have the worst migraine. Careful.
I'm really disappointed in this product video. A lot of the items are wasteful and can be handled by what you already have. Ramsey, this is a failure. Love you Rachel ❤️ . Sorry.
More junk to fill your draws. I find it interesting that Rachel’s dad is encouraging people to reduce spending and she is her promoting a bunch of Amazon junk! In my opinion this presentation is a fail!
Agreed.
I have to be honest with you, I don't like to much talking and long videos.
Oil misters are a waste of money. You can never clean them thoroughly. How do I know? I’ve had them. The oil goes rancid inside of the sprayer nozzle. Yuck.
Oh goodness , this was hard to listen to! Speaking so incredibly fast it sounds like gabble, so much gushing, you both seem like you ate on waaaaay too much caffeine. Seem very likeable and interested in the products but wayyy too many words, too super hyper! Wow, not for anyone with an anxiety disorder. 😊
I bought a misting oil bottle from temu for $2.08 get a 30% off code from any utube temu haul. Fir first time buyers
Why would she open her mouth like that on the video cover?
