I'm thinking it was used to make a hard, flaky coating that the poison was more able to absorb into so it wouldn't get washed off with one rain or gush of blood allowing a lot of poisonings without any additional preparation.
I just found out why SH's voice makes me want to play tales of symphonia or think about teen titans. His voice sounds like teen titans Robin if he were a professor.
damn, imagine all the cool weapons and war machines we'd learn about in history class if that one roman soldier kept his cool and didn't kill archimedes
A few exxagerations here. The Urumi whip swrod f.e. was a mostly ceremonial weapon with very limited use in actual combat because of the unweildiness of it. Also one skilled archer or stone slinger would end an Urumi user before he even gets close to being in range of the sword whip
Not exactly ancient but there was a dude from WW2 who had to fly scout planes and he hated it. So he strapped a bunch of bazookas to his wings and started f#cking up tanks. It was effective enough that the higher ups just allowed it
Urumi was unexpected 💀 It was used by Nairs and other communities Nair's granted permission to practice kalari, We rarely used urumi in battles the main weapon we used on battles were kayamkulam sword it was also symbol of Nair aristocracy
hum a japanese hornet is a "bit" different than a south american. Telling people hornets can kill you just by deriving it from japanese giant hornets is quite a stretch.

“Say 你好 to my little friend”- never laughed that hard for a long long time
As someone from Kerala, India, I'd like to thank you for mentioning the Urumi.
I love the idea of the Mayan just casually walking up to the hornets and nonchalantly ushering them into a pot.
Awesome stuff, tossing in a vote for Jim Corbett for his Maneater hunts
the hornet bombs was actually a very creative idea 💡

UA-cam should make it a option to report comments for being extremely stupid
Dude I looooove your videos!! Binged them all (I discovered your channel yesterday)
I would also like to set the record straight that hornets are also pollinators. They’re not all evil and play a role in many foods you eat!
Male mosquitos too. It's the females that are the problem, no redpill 😹
They also like massacring bee colonies. Maybe not all hornets are evil, but many of them clearly are.
I still don't trust them. Had them attack me randomly since they decided to hide in a bush near my bike, and haven't liked them sense.

Great job man love your videos 👍
Hornet bomb technically is the world's first grenade
certain types of urumis also has chunks or coverings of tin on it, as a cut from tin takes much longer to stop bleeding
Ironically boiling the poop for a weapon probably killed off a lot of that bacteria and destroyed most of the poison/venom.
I'm thinking it was used to make a hard, flaky coating that the poison was more able to absorb into so it wouldn't get washed off with one rain or gush of blood allowing a lot of poisonings without any additional preparation.
