Big Flips you should try a blade grab aerial. I’ve worked on it and got it a few times. Hold it in blade grab position and make it lay vertical to the ground. Then push your index down while swinging up and throw. Land in icepick grip.
I wish they don't send balisongs to California might have to hit up the BM42 clone
What’s the knife used in this video?
Big Flips are
Can i have some butterfly comb pls
This is a very simple trick that even beginners can learn quickly but this dude taught the tricked very detailed to the point of showing the rotation of the wrist. That’s why I watch this UA-camr for tutorial.
FidgetSpinner = Kid
Balisong/Butterfly Knife = Men
So I was a girl until I got a butterfly knife and now I'm a men

not only men

I'm a kid and I use a butterfly knife I use it to scare my 13 year old brother to get off the computer
Bro you're the best teacher. I can only learn from you. I've been flipping over a year and I owe you a huge thanks for making it possible for me to develop my skill.
My dude is GREAT in explaining these. Meanwhile, other channels' videos make me feel like an idiot.
Learned the trick, almost mastered it, then my knife broke and I couldn’t find the part that broke off....... great

When I was 14 I had a practice butterfly knife for about a year or two of having it,I convinced my parents to get me a real one
So it's basically a wrist pass but a lil different.

Dude , that's awesome. As I live in th most boring fkn country on earth (Australia) . To cut it short I just got a butterfly trainer , but it's pretty well weighted and feels good , (I had a real balisong years ago ) so I'm not totally ignorant, but yes I will admit , at the moment I SUCK , . Thanks again for the advice

HE EXPLAINES IT SO WELL!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10
oh yes dad, bless me with teh new tut
I am 13 I have a butterfly knife but it is a practice one. So I will not cut my self and I am learning how to do tricks with it and this was just so helpful with a beginning for me doing tricks

Hey Big Flips I love your tutorials man! What is your favorite Balisong knife for flipping???

this is probably one of the most re-watched videos on UA-cam lol.
Fun fact : it can both be cool and functional, if you start with the bite handle
thx! learned it in only 1 minute!

Me trying to practice with a paper knife that I made from youtube : -_-
Me:fakes food poisoning to get out of work.
Crowder:
You are ta good teacher I learned this in one try 😮❤
I bought a training knife to practice and this helped so much
Is it just a wrist pass but from the safe handle?
I’m always practicing so I need to download this video
so it is kinda like a quickdraw with and extra fancy step...
i like it thanks very much
This is a easy but good looking trick
What model knife is that? The sounds and just how smooth it looks- calling my name
Found it in the description
Aaaaaaaaand it’s 400$ this might have to wait a bit
I keep realizing that I have been doing these tricks for a long time as I never wanted to learn tricks until recently and now I can do them no problem because they are all stuff I’ve done for years/months
Big Flips I’m gonna make a short on doing the figure 8. Can you watch it and tell me if I’m doing it right?
just got it on a lego one i built today 😂 thanks!
I cant wait for my butterfly knife :3
SAME
Thank you for this tutorial it was w very helpfull
Didnt know open/close i "discovered" - after i knew double rollout and wrist pass - myself already have name!
I can do this trick now 10/10 good tutorial
I love balisong
you explained it the most hardest way i can tell
So the only difference between this and a wrist pass is a ricochet to start it, different orientation, and holding the other handle. Or am I missing something???
It helps that I play video games a lot cause it increases my eye to hand coordination which really helps
Thx this really helped
I learn alot on this channel
My 2nd trick that I finished!
Thank you for doing a slow motion breakdown on how to perform this beginner opener trick. There are so many inconsiderate people posting videos on "beginner opener methods" and they record their tutorials at FULL 60FPS SPEED. Guys. If you want to actually teach people how to flip, stop recording "tutorials" while you flip at full speed at a terrible camera angle. Some people need to lean some basic video editing skills. However the man demonstrating the Figure 8 didn't need slow motion video because he actually BROKE IT DOWN STEP BY STEP BY HAND.
I can understand advanced tutorials might not need to be slowed down, because by that point you know how to handle your Bali song proficiently.
Wonder if this would work with just one of those light up fake butterfly knives too
Love your content. Please keep it up
This is the first tricks I do when I got my knife without know the tricks is exist 😁
Big tips from big flips
Get em here today
Half off
I'm only here so whenever I do get this I can be like the spy
Hey, could you do a tutorial on how to do the trick that Spy from tf2 does when he inspect his knife? If its possible ofc
What is the difference between this and a wrist pass? Seems identical?
I'm just waiting for someone to sponsor me a practice butterfly knife
Hello, I've been viewing your instructional videos... I'm trying to go through the recommended cycles anyway, In this video you demonstrated a figure eight wherein, the live end of the blade is "facing upward". You critiqued the figure eight and mentioned it was not as practical in use "maybe useful for cutting rope but, still cool".
You teach tricks and I like them... I practice FMA (Filipino Martial Arts) and would use the blade objectively which would be stabbing and slashing generally in a combat situation however, there is also a non-lethal way to use the Balisong which would be defensively. Defensively, here's how, you would use the Balisong as a Dulu (Yawara, Stylus) take note of the blunt point when the Balisong is close and lock. In this position you would strike the opponent with the blunt point which would be non-lethal (defensive) the blade is deployed (quick draw) if, the fight becomes dire and self-preservation is the objective... The blunt end of the blade is used for trapping or immobilization which is, non-lethal. Anyway, "thumbs up on the figure eight" it is a practical use of the Balisong!
Yeah, great move man, like it !
This vid: how to look cool with a knife even though I would shit my self in an actually fight with this
Brett Raymond butterflies arent for fighting m8 there for fun
Matthew Piazza the only way they’re affective is if you use it like a real knife. The tricks don’t really work.
Allen Gainz MMA Kill em with cool tricks
Matthew Piazza tbh, if you’re good at flipping them and doing tricks and someone walks up on you and tries to harm you there is a chance that you might scare them off.
They are not made for killing. They are mainly hobby and for cutting like with any other knife
I have no idea what is going on, but I like it
dude i always did this thinking i was just flinging around the knife lmaoooooo
I don’t know why but when I do the tricks they look all the same but when I see them on camera they look so clean
super cool. thanks
I have a basic opening variant that looks like this, i made it up
Ive noticed just now that this is how I do the opening for my balisong but a different style
Easiest trick other than the y2k thumb rollover for me
This helped a lot tanks!
I always have the blade downwards for some reason but it works
That was the first trick I learned
