Regarding the construction queues, the mod I've been working on expects heavy use of construction bots consistently and defaults to upping it from 3 to 20 (user configurable if this is to much). But due to the nature of the mechanics it's adding I doubt it will be friendly to 30,000 roboport bases.
I think it's ready for some beta testing, pm me if you want a crack at it.
The question on launching with your inventory asked around 26:58 was answered in FFF-382 you can only take your armor and guns up with you when you go to a platform everything else will need to go up on other launches and will go into the platform storage.
some one needs to test the new roboport update limits, say concreating in 1 hit on a map to the edge...evil smile ^^
What would be the trigger? There is a finite size to blueprints. Would it need to be a console command, so that you can get the greatest number of tiles ready to receive their top coat of concrete?
The best test that I can dream up in less than a minute would be to maximize the size of the blueprint and make it chunk-sized and chunk-aligned. Fully explore a vertically and horizontally constrained map. Explore and place down all of the roboports that you need. Grab your blueprint and using a macro of sort (think AutoHotKey) and let the mouse pointer and keyboard 'print' the entire map as quickly as possible. Then, you can sit down and wait.
