The reason you can manage a department of 40 people as opposed to a 2 year old and a 6 year old is because the children aren't going to be out of a job, unemployed and destitute if they refuse to listen to you. Is she really that naive?

It's just an analogy lol. Most people don't think they could manage a team of 40 but think they can be parents so your line of thinking, though accurate, isn't actually common sense

@Itznun Yabizness most of the criminals I’ve met have had parents just like yourself. All it did was help them practice how to not get caught. Meanwhile the vast majority of sensible, kind people who have a strong work ethic I’ve met weren’t raised to live in fear. It doesn’t have to be one or the other you know - make your kids afraid of the consequences and tell them why they should be, but they oughtn’t fear you specifically.

Her first actual go of proper parenting and spending time with her children was failing miserably, so she was about to bow out - she finally comes up with something that allows her to control her own two children and believes she's some parent messiah who can teach the masses how to parent. Then she has the audacity to try to tell the dragon's they don't understand business. What you can see from this is that she is a control freak, who can't 'read the room' .. which doesn't mix well with spending large times with young children, who generally need some flexibility and empathy. And for that reason, I'm out.

Looks like the company never went anywhere. Records show it was dormant around 2004 with no sales, after only starting in 2003. The company expanded into consultancy which the pitcher did on a personal basis. She did mediocre trading over the next 10 or so years, never even achieving revenues close to £180,000 a year, and possibly not even over the lifetime of the company. It was eventually dissolved in early 2020. In the interim it seems the pitcher supported herself and is currently back in hospital risk management jobs.
