The visual for The Wonder Years' song "Laura & The Beehive" from the album 'The Hum Goes On Forever' out now on Loneliest Place On Earth / Hopeless Records

Lyrics:
I can barely remember it, two or three at the time,
watering your tomato plants, I had fallen behind.
I stepped on a beehive, and you threw your body over mine.
I just called to talk about the weather or anything you want.
I just called to hear your voice; I’m sorry, I won’t keep you long,
‘cause I know how you ask around and worry when you hear the songs.
So I just called to let you know that I’m alright, no matter what.
Standing in the sunken grass that used to be the deep end,
staring at a conch shell that you keep in the garden.
You said I could hear the ocean, and I really believed it.
I’m writing songs to tell everyone
that I love them
while they’re still here to sing along.
You’ve been the North Star since I was young-
where the light’s from-
and I’ll follow ‘til the glow is gone.
I can barely remember it, two or three at the time,
watering your tomato plants. You might’ve saved my life
when I stepped on a beehive.

First time I listened to this song I was driving home from work, and it gave me a good cry before I drove to my moms house and gave her a hug. It really hit some feelings I wasn't ready to experience but I am happy that this song exists. Another flawless masterpiece.
You guys created something special with this one. The feeling this song creates is ethereal.
what a beautiful, heartfelt song....
I can’t explain the feelings I had while listening to this and crying. Probably my favorite song on this album and that hurts to say because this whole album is absolutely beautiful
These guys are absolutely something special. The emotion this song brings and others like “flowers where your heart should be” is unlike any other band. It’s just incredible.
The melody, the lyrics, the meaning, his voice. A fucking masterpiece.
i miss my grandma so much. i wish i would have called more
This and dismantling summer are my "I miss my grandma" songs. I know the latter is for his grandpa, but still.
This is such a beautiful and mellow song. It brings so many emotions, and having a soft song to break up the heaviness of the other songs is amazing. Thank you TWY for making such inspiring and beautiful music! Keep it up!!!
The song I didn't know I needed so much, but here we are. Probably my fav song on my favorite album of 2022. ❤️
This brought me to tears. Fantastic album. But this song just… ugh.
I really love this song.
I lost my grandma about a week before this album came out, and every time I hear this song it brings me to tears. Thank you guys for making such meaningful music. It truly has changed my life.
May she rest in peace, brother

The lyricism of this band and the composition of the music is on another level for this genre... well for any genre really.
This makes me think of my grandparents....
Yes. This. ❤
Aunt Lolly Molded my life too. I love her. I remember the deep end. Diving and touching the bottom with Tommy.
Calling my mom now
I just called to hear your voice; I’m sorry, I won’t keep you long 🌻
