The visual for The Wonder Years' song "Laura & The Beehive" from the album 'The Hum Goes On Forever' out now on Loneliest Place On Earth / Hopeless Records
    ---
    Lyrics:
I can barely remember it, two or three at the time,
watering your tomato plants, I had fallen behind.
I stepped on a beehive, and you threw your body over mine.
I just called to talk about the weather or anything you want.
I just called to hear your voice; I’m sorry, I won’t keep you long,
‘cause I know how you ask around and worry when you hear the songs.
So I just called to let you know that I’m alright, no matter what.
Standing in the sunken grass that used to be the deep end,
staring at a conch shell that you keep in the garden.
You said I could hear the ocean, and I really believed it.
I’m writing songs to tell everyone
    that I love them
while they’re still here to sing along.
You’ve been the North Star since I was young-
    where the light’s from-
and I’ll follow ‘til the glow is gone.
I can barely remember it, two or three at the time,
watering your tomato plants. You might’ve saved my life
when I stepped on a beehive.

First time I listened to this song I was driving home from work, and it gave me a good cry before I drove to my moms house and gave her a hug. It really hit some feelings I wasn't ready to experience but I am happy that this song exists. Another flawless masterpiece.

These guys are absolutely something special. The emotion this song brings and others like “flowers where your heart should be” is unlike any other band. It’s just incredible.

This and dismantling summer are my "I miss my grandma" songs. I know the latter is for his grandpa, but still.

This is such a beautiful and mellow song. It brings so many emotions, and having a soft song to break up the heaviness of the other songs is amazing. Thank you TWY for making such inspiring and beautiful music! Keep it up!!!

The lyricism of this band and the composition of the music is on another level for this genre... well for any genre really.
