Anne Sofie von Otter is an exceptional artist and I am so pleased to have found this performance. Thanks for sharing it with us. Korngold is an underappreciated composer but I have always loved his music, beginning with my first exposure in the films, and his concert work later in my life.
I'm starting to believe Anne Sofie von Otter has one of the era's great voices when I listen to this and to her version of L'amour ardent la flame from Berlioz's Damnation of Faust... Truly conveys emotions with extreme elegance of phrasing.
