My experience watching the 2nd game: Dang, that's kinda unlucky. Dang, that's SUPER unlucky. Like, there's no way. That's statistically insane to have not seen one of four All Will Be One at more than 50% of the deck seen. Wait. It was hilarious when CGB found out he took out All Will Be One after trying to find it like for 20 minutes. Then he just won by the calendar. I died 🤣

I've popping the calendar with an Azoroius build. Double tap with Teferi and free tap with Enigma jewel, and surge to protect the artifacts. 1000 dmg to the face is *chefs kiss*

Bro, that card line is what you say every time you don't have a good discard. I swear, you were one of the kids back in the day who got upset when someone hit with Scalpelexis and you had two lands in a row. Just if that's not the pot calling the kettle, don't know what is.

Turns out, comboing gets considerably harder if you dont have the combo pieces in the deck
Watching those first two matches should be precedent as to why MTGA needs to go to a truly random shuffler. The absolute drowning in lands has been experienced by many.
Legitimately that's been my problem with Koth in Arena. His ability should read "Search for two mountains, put one in your hand and the other on top of your deck."
Yah, when I play farmhand I think I will thin my deck of plains and then immediately draw a plains and another farm hand...
Two words that'll let you really add salt to the wound when the damage is lethal already....Fiery Emancipation 😀
Edit: @CovertGoBlue Discard decks used to be hella nasty back in the day when people were running racks in their deck to make people take 3 damage every turn per rack in play when their hand was empty. Then when Ice Age came out there was a spell called Mind Twist for one black and X which made the opponent discard X cards. On turn one with 3 or more dark rituals it was totally game altering so they restricted and later banned it quite fast. Discard was no joke with Hypnotic Specters and Hymn to Tourachs and the like...Mindstab Thrulls...There were so many things those decks had to wipe your hand it wasn't even fair. In a sense it was like control decks, so unless you consistently top decked really well, you weren't likely to win

Totally made up for it though when that Gruul colored deck scooped at 39:37 immediately after his draw when he didn't top deck anything good after AWBO hit the table lmao...Ugh how I despise people who rely on the speed of red to outpace people in damage and board state via haste rather than skill to win. OMG man that loss to the mono red player at 50:50 RIGHT AFTER drawing AWBO was soul crushing...Oh man I'd be livid...like I would seriously Alt+F4 out of Arena and do something else for awhile...wow man that sucked ass 😡

brotherhood's end is the most difficult spell to cast on curve and that is not even so bad.. maybe cut 3 non mountains and add one mountain. whole deck is mana or filtering with few removals. not quite balanced. strange obsession to mana.
Dude why didn’t you just cast the burn down the house for 5 damage and do the brotherhoods end for the final damage to kill the creatures instead of making blockers around the 32 mark? Wtf
my favorite vintage deck used glimpse the unthinkable to mill 10 cards, hymn to torach to slap cards out of their hand, then dark ritual into a haunting echoes to exile their graveyard and every card in their hand and deck with the same name. it didn't fire off much but it was hilarious when it did.
To be fair everything is pointless in arena. It's an algorithm that decides everything, it's programmed and therefore objective rendering it utterly pointless, if not for the fact that it generates some money. Pretty sure not a lot though.

The dimir Deck is so dependent on two drops. I rather get an additional counter on my blast zone right away. Buys you so much time.
Love how discard decks rely on frustrating the opponent early in the game but if you decide to play it out, 9/10 they are the ones that get frustrated and concede.

=> in short need to have calendar since the start, and need to play 'all will be' one with 7 mana available

"Calendar" works better with blue white control, plus an untapped permanent ability.

There’s a Huge Bug in Arena atm, please be aware that the 6 mana Eternal Wanderer doesn’t return your creatures when she does her plus 1 to flicker something. So obviously you can exploit it to just Exile an enemy creature for a plus 1
