  • Today we are continuing on with the floor and sill fabrication... we unbolted the front fenders so that we can finish the sill replacement panel and found more rust that will need to be repaired... this is why you can't accurately quote a restoration - you just never know what's inside ❌

I love the way you’re doing this floor. I’m working on a 62 deville quadcab. Rather than piece and patch I’m going to employ this method. Thanks for all the ideas and details along the way.

I watch Bad Chad and Fitzee’s Fabrication. I have learned so much from the two of you. I have been doing fabrication since I was 13 years old, now I’m 61 in January. I am in the process of a frame off restoration on my brothers 1967 C-10 pick up “Small Window”. The frame has been dismantled blasted and powder coated, engine completely professionally rebuilt. All new suspension, now metal fab on the cab on a rotisserie I built by watching You Tube.
Thank you for the inspiration you and Queen Jolene give me to get out in the shop and make this project we call The “Karl Project” named after my late brother who has passed away. My plan is to enjoy it while I am able and let the kids enjoy it while they are able.

I would like to see zinc weld through primer being used on the bare steel panels as some of them once fitted you’ll never be able to treat the bare metal 100 percent.
