- Today we are continuing on with the floor and sill fabrication... we unbolted the front fenders so that we can finish the sill replacement panel and found more rust that will need to be repaired... this is why you can't accurately quote a restoration - you just never know what's inside ❌

I love the way you’re doing this floor. I’m working on a 62 deville quadcab. Rather than piece and patch I’m going to employ this method. Thanks for all the ideas and details along the way.
Chad has done a great job repairing this car and explaining the process!
Chad is a master of metal, and Jolene is a master with a camera!
Enjoy every episode!!
Facts! But these armchair fabricators have way more experience, and they never made a mistake ever even when they were kids! They're perfect every way possible from life relationships and everything else
@@George-dy3pt🤣
When you were welding the Botton driver side sill Jolene made a hell of a close up of that weld that was pretty neat.
I watch Bad Chad and Fitzee’s Fabrication. I have learned so much from the two of you. I have been doing fabrication since I was 13 years old, now I’m 61 in January. I am in the process of a frame off restoration on my brothers 1967 C-10 pick up “Small Window”. The frame has been dismantled blasted and powder coated, engine completely professionally rebuilt. All new suspension, now metal fab on the cab on a rotisserie I built by watching You Tube.
Thank you for the inspiration you and Queen Jolene give me to get out in the shop and make this project we call The “Karl Project” named after my late brother who has passed away. My plan is to enjoy it while I am able and let the kids enjoy it while they are able.

I can do sheet metal. I can weld. And I think I can repair my truck. I would never have even tried without your teaching and easy to follow instructions.. thank u bad chad& joline.
There is nobody who can do this amount of work that you do god knows how you do it your skill level is off the scale people should really appreciate this unbelievable
You have to be kidding me right? These armchair fabricators are the most experienced at everything they've done from fabricating mechanics relationships and everything else that'spossible! They've never ever made a mistake that was wrong and always performed perfect!
Chad says anyone can do it. ;)
You just take your time and do it your way and we’ll be here watching. Every day I learn a little something and I appreciate it.
Thank you both for allowing me to come into your shop.
Getting rid of cancer /rust can really highlight some anxiety/stress but Chad just sucks it up & proves anything is possible if you put your soul into it.Plymouth is so lucky you guys come across it.Finally she's getting a metal facelift & surgery she obviously needed.Great content ❤your work guys.greetings from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍
WOW!!! That was a bugger to put in but it sure looks good now, great job chad,,Doug is moveing right along cutting out patterns an removing fenders,,fina is patrolling the area,, Jolene is doing fantastic on the camera,,luv ya’s,,👍👍😀
Great watching this project coming together ... congratulation to the Hiltz team
Really enjoy watching your videos. Have learned a lot and I now feel confident enough to replace the quarter panels on a 65 comet I am restoring, thanks to you and Jolene.
Its a beautiful journey of watching old cars coming to life for another 100 yrs❤❤.
Thanks Chad and Jolene 👍👍
Great to see Doug helping nice job repairing this old car . Starting to come together.
This car is really coming together-love the work you do. Has helped me alot and the way I approach a project
You are doing a great job repairing the seals and floors can’t wait to see it finished
Dont matter how much I watch Chad he never ceases to amaze me. I have done work like this in my 70 years and it's hard. Keep up the good work. Love to you all from Newcastle upon Tyne United Kingdom
Great camera work as always. Thanks Chad for the workmanship on this restoration.
I'd like a hat. Haven't missed the show in two years. Enjoy the daily content. Chad has taught me a lot and I am not afraid to tackle any job by watching your videos. Keep it up.
This build has showcased his skill growth since the truck build, you are amazing friend and Jolene has been a great contributor in these episodes.
I remember when you started this and said " this is Not a restoration. .....it's a repair!"
Oh it's a restoration! 😂😂
I put a pendant switch with a 6" cord.on my hoist. I can look under the car as I put it up in the air. Thanks for the great videos.
Evening folks. Great to see others doing their own thing. Always say you have a hard time putting a price on a repair or restoration. Looks great guys
Chad is showing off those body man skills in my opinion he I one of if not the best metal fabrication man in the buisness
Doug favors country music singer Mark Chessnut
I like your effort it’s not about money it all about interest and you know what your doing thank you you teach a lot of people .
It's always about using what you have without buying anything!
I like the look of the car, it has cool lines and you are all doing a great job on the repairs. There is not many people who could do this.
You are such an inspiration, I'd like to say thanks for all the lessons.
Awesome job indeed . You give me strenght to take on some projects myself. Thanks for all you both do. Jack
Just amazing what you and your Queen do together! Chad, you are the Bob Ross of the car world!
Chad I been watching your project for a wile now this one I enjoy the most so far and your teaching lots young people how do bodywork the easy way good job thanks
This is a great place to learn car building and easy way to do them. Cad and Jolene and the crew are awesome
You doing good Job Chad I’m watching you almost over two years now you’re doing great always
Thank you for all you do! Thank you Chad and thank you Jolene
Love the repair work as always. Superb fabrication and really doing a excellent job. I would like to see zinc weld through primer being used on the bare steel panels as some of them once fitted you’ll never be able to treat the bare metal 100 percent. Not a criticism to chads work just something I’d like to see used and what I’d use. Keep up the good work Chad 😊
As I said before, I'm not much of a car guy except for driving them. But I do love to build stuff, usually with wood; and thanks to Chad, I am now learning how to build stuff with metal! Thanks Chaddy!
Sometimes in order to go forward , you have pauses and delays or something unexpected happens etc ,etc .Chad will get her done! Good work Doug and Jolene !
Look forward to each and every video. Jolene, you and Doug do fabulous work
Great job ,the sill''s looking great ,and Jolene a always excellent filming the whole process
It's gonna be like brand new when done...I would paint it flat black...do it traditional hot rod...some flames...wide tires in the rear...maybe duel exhaust...it would be alot of fun...cya tomorrow guys...car is looking good Chad and Jolene and Doug 😊
Chad needs to purchase some battery operated tools so he doesn't have to deal with so many cords that being said he does a great job and I enjoy watching
His tools work just fine!
Great video with all that welding/fabrication and braces and beams added. Hopefully, that old frame will be able to support/hold all that extra weight. Take care!
There is not anything else like your channel on UA-cam. Good stuff!👍
I always have looked forward to watching your show I love to see what you are capable of doing to your projects keep up the great work ❤❤
I live in union Missouri
@@wdkohlealmost taken over by the United States of America's communist party! Which are the Bush Obama party who are the farthest of what they claim they are!
I would love a hat. You all encourage me to keep working in my car when I felt there was no hope. Thank you.
Awesome work as always. I'm really enjoying this series.
In the beginning of this project Chad said that he is just fixing the quarter pannels and this is not a complete restoration. 😂😂
The way this project is progressing, it clearly shows that Chad is a perfectionist as he keeps fixing whatever he finds is not good in the car....❤❤
Thanks to Jolene and Doug for being the support✌️👍
10” wheels look good! The further you dig the more rot you find, always the case in a rusty car. Great job guys!
Hey Chad , don't forget to put your body mount bolts in before you weld the floor in.
He has the bolts already welded in place for the body mounts
Nice job. You make it so simple.
I watch you every day. Keeps me motivated seeing Chad take on some hard work. Camera work is awesome, Joline!
I don’t work on cars yet I’m only 31 but I do a lot of construction and think it’s great to see the trouble solving chad does 😁
He's very underrated!
Really enjoying this build. Thanks for sharing.
Gotta love the use of corded tools in your shop, so much cheaper than battery tools.
With all the hard work you are doing on this baby she is a keeper. I would love to see it with the same two tone color with a nice lowered stance. Maybe up date the brakes ,suspension and add some vintage air. She now has a longer lifespan thanks to you.👍👍
Great Show!!! Love all the Information! Thank You For the Show.
I am really enjoy this project and you are give me motivation
Thank you
floor is looking well brand new .quality as always .thanks guys .hat hat
The real life struggles!! Chad just keeps on keepin on and Jolene is right there for all the action!! Doug is a great addition to the shop as well!!
This is the way! Love it! This might be my favorite once it's done. What a great looking beast! I'd feel awesome taking it out on the open highway or to a meet.
I would not say no if it did become a gasser after all the new sheet work, Nathan would have fun on the block!! Great upload as per usual.
When I was building metal buildings we would take the socket bit for the screws and drive the magnet down in the socket. Because the screws fit a little deeper and have less tendency to come out when drilling.
I love all the work from everyone!
Enjoying , as always the show today. I love how you do things your way snd simplify the process, explaining as you go. Really is appreciated, keep rocking it brother. Watch out for those scary caterpillars Jolene 😅
I always learn a new way of doing things while watching your show.
The car is coming out awesome! Great work Chad
48:06 great job on the motor, please get a tee shirt with a caricature of dougs head & a caption of " & Dougs in the house!", id like to see that & deffo a good seller he deserves such recognition, great work guys 👍🏻
Great work guys. 😎👍
Little by little you're basically rebuilding the entire car...
(pity that subtitles are not available today)
Great show today. Thanks for the opportunity for the hat and congrats to Don Ley.
I love watching your fabrications
Learning a lot from this build
Great job
Definitely need a cordless drill.
great workmanship from Australia
this old car gets a second chance. My thoughts are you worked hard to save it I think it deserves a little paint. Ontario fan
Great to see Chad saving that Plymouth from the scrap heap....
Chad I love how you are doing this floor and seels and the way you did it to Jim's car to I think easy and looking good or in your case great is right keep up the great work
How do you keep the metal from rusting if you don’t use paint?
THANKS 4 VIDEO! GOOD JOB EVERYONE!
Sill looks great....I would have never got that lucky bending all those bends...!
Hi Chad and Jolene and watch you guys for quite some time also from the East Coast you and your team do a great work. Keep it up.. I Enjoy to watch you. Reall nice hat
I like the look you’re going for here. Big meats out back lifted and skinnies up front. A retro 70’s style from my heyday! Have your mechanic install a thumper cam and glasspacs to complete the package.
Wooly Bears! We have a Wooly Bear festival every year here in Cleveland. They say their stripes can predict how severe the winter will be.
It’ll be all new when you’re done. A lot of work. Great job!
It will never get done all the way!!!
Looking good Chad hi Doug, Fina and Jolene. Great video work as always. Miss getting the hat oh well!😊😮❤
My brother drove my truck up the side of a mountain. I71 Going down into Cincinnati from Kentucky. He had it on cruse control ice every where. Needless to say he smashed my truck. now because of your videos I am going to try to repair it myself..wish me luck 🙃 😅 🙂 😉
Awesome job fabricating the floor panels and sills
I like to say, Jolene is getting a good pictures of how and what you are doing and seeing.😊😊😊❤😊😊😊❤😊😊
It's great to see restoration of an older car, even it is a bit of a pain! Thanks for the good explanations of what you're doing, Chad, and thanks for making it all work so we can watch, Jolene!🚗🧰 💓
Gday to all looking good guys you do awesome work for minimal tools 🔧
With all the new metal in the car, are you going to tuff coat it or use rust treatment to keep the car from further rusting?
Reminds me of the early episodes, nice to have a chance to win something but the content is also what we want! It is like getting a prize in your cereal box!
I think this is a good video showing how to make the panel..
Give some Kleen-Strip Concrete prep a try for the rusty metal not be stripped. Works just like Ospho, same material, just less expensive.
Car is coming along and headed for a solid driver once again!
Great video thank you.
Inspiring work Brad and great camera work Jolene!
The way you do it, it can't be wrong 👍👍
Keep up the amazing work
Better than new👍👍a time saver might be a mig gun with air nozzle built into it for cooling the spot welds could be automatic or manually operated. Your tricks of the trade 👍👍
Hey Jolene did you get a new cam? Video and audio much better, I use to have to turn up volume on the sound bar, now it's good. This build reminds me of the Commado I restored, but I would have done better if I saw what Chad is doing, he is amazing. And of course you to.
Farmers Almanac says the darker the Wolly Worms the harder the winter you are going to have.
A lot of work in that floor. Does the body lower frame need to have rust removed and sprayed before laying down the floor? Is this a good time to replace the brake lines if necessary?
Good job Chad and great filming Jolene
