      I wish we could see the original Marty & Bobbi Culp routines. They're kept off. Plenty of clones, but not the originals. :( That & The Continental are 2 of my SNL favs!

      I thought it made the sketch so much more interesting. Being able to see christopher's body language and he up close shot made it better in my opinion.

    i love this christopher walken skit he did so awsome he hosted snl 3 more times.... one of the best actors ever... he could do it all comedy, horror, gangsta, love, everything... u guy's gotta see the other snl skit with christopher. i think its called LOVERS with Will Ferrell

    I had just watched a Continental sketch and wanted to see if there was a behind the scenes video. Wow, there sure was! I was just curious to see the camera person, but wasn't even thinking about the cue card guy and cable handlers also being so involed. Very impressive!
    I imagine today they'd use a wireless camera, and maybe even a tablet teleprompter above the camera for the actor's lines. It would be much easier for them.

    I LOVED "THE CONTINENTAL" WITH CHRIS! SO CLASSIC AND FUNNY! I LAUGHED SO HARD!!!! IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!! I ALWAYS WONDERED WHO'S BIG HAND WAS ON THE DOOR. NOW I KNOW! LOL! 😂😅😊😂❤❤❤. I NEVER KNEW IT WAS IT WAS A REAL SHOW ACCORDING TO CHRIS WHO WATCHED IT AS A KID.

    Wintage Champanya !! Jackie Gleason (RIP) once said that he knew a lot of comedians who could be excellent dramatic actors but didn't know of any dramatic actors who could be a comedian. Too bad he didn't live long enough to meet Christopher Walken.

    This was some choreography to pull off
    Not just with the camera but also the cue cards. The man handling the cue cards had to know his exact cues on when to get out of the way so the camera guy can run away.

      at 0:53 ? I think the cameraman had an itchy leg, but he had to keep the camera steady. Scritchyscratching it would have made the camera shake, so he stroked it.
