How is the triggering for fast hits? Contemplating getting a double pedal or another tower and splitting the signal
I haven't had any problems with it, but the fastest I can hit is 16th notes at about 120bpm. From all the reviews I read I think it can handle much faster hits though. You could also modify the threshold settings on your kit if you are having triggering issues. Splitting the signal would work well too. I went for the double pedal because I don't love the Alesis pedal that came with the Nitro Max, so I figured I'd replace it.
How is the simmons kick pad holding up? I have the alesis nitro max and the tower won't work well with my mapex mars double bass pedals
So far so good, but I've probably only spent 20 hours on it. It has really good reviews and seems solid though. I couldn't even get the nitro max tower to work with the double pedal, so the Simmons was a great upgrade.
@@BhamDrums thanks.. I heard good things about the Yamaha kick tower as well
