- Fr. Thomas McGlynn, OP was contracted back in the 1940's to carve the large statue destined to go over the main doors of the Fatima Basilica. In making the statue accurate as possible, he had to meet up with Sr. Dores (Sr. Lucia as a Dorothean sister) to discuss all the relevant aspects of this work of art. In his meetings with her, they discussed many many things about the apparitions. Fr. McGlynn later published his book in 1951, entitled The Vision of Fatima. In this book, we learn something about the personality of Sr. Dores and that Pope Pius XII's 1942 consecration did not meet with the request of Our Lady. We also learned that there may have been more about Russia in the messages that were not published. Note that the part of the secret revealed in 2000 did not mention Russia. Thus, it seems clear from Fr. McGlynn's interviews with sister that something more about Russia still exists in the messages that have been withheld from us. Let us pray for the conversion of Russia.

I myself have also wondered why there is no book that spoke much about the life of SISTER LUCIA and her personality! Along with the details of the Apparitions such as what did our Lady look like, her crown, gown, her eyes, her smile, her hands, the lights around her, ?scent? etc etc I’ve searched for a book like this for a long time and found none!

The only way it can happen is if there is a revival of Christianity and love for the Spirit of God in hearts. And it seems that is the opposite of what we have going on in the trajectory of the world.

My wife was being fooled around and being given false results and diagnosis intentionally by criminal corrupted doctors in Malta hospitals, and was being left untreated, suffering and dying for 2 years in Malta, then she moved to UK but as the British hide the Maltese government's crimes for another year she was being left untreated suffering and getting in a worse condition intentionally. In Malta and UK criminal corrupted doctors did not see the damages to her organs although the damage could be seen clearly. When we met she moved with me to my country and the diagnosis she was given were very different, and in my country she began being given treatment immediately. As for 3 years she was being given false results and diagnosis, was being left untreated, suffering and dying intentionally more damage had been done to her organs, if she did not leave Malta and UK she would be dead, she's still alive thanks to Our Lady .The criminals in these hospitals public and private, just rip you off for giving you false diagnosis, maybe prescribe you some pain killer or maybe Cannabis and let you dying. They are allowed by government to avoid tax, to steal patient's money for fooling them around, these are some of the rewards they get for letting patients get worse and die. At present it is more easy to certify false deaths. They also get bonuses for hiding the cause of illnesses and blaming patients for any illness either because of consuming alcohol, smoking, or type of food consumed.
Do you seriously think that these things never happen in Malta? No medical negligence, no medical malpractice, no illnesses caused by living too close too an airport or port, no illnesses caused by work. Or that the criminal corrupted doctors in Maltese hospitals hide each other's crimes because as they are ordered to do so they are protected by Maltese authorities? In a letter to Sister Mary of Bethlehem in August 1989, due to dispute about whether the consecration really counted and whether the Pope had actually done what was required, to set the record straight Sister Lucia wrote: “Afterward [Pope John Paul II] wrote to all the bishops of the world asking them to unite themselves to him. He had the statue of Our Lady of Fatima [from the Cova da Iria chapel] brought to Rome on March 25, 1984. Then publicly, in union with those bishops who wished to associate themselves with His Holiness, he made the consecration in the way in which the Blessed Virgin had wished that it should be made. Afterward people asked me if it was made in the way our Lady wanted, and I replied: “Yes.” From that time, it is made!"
Sister Lucia says in the letter that the previous consecrations made by Popes Pius XII in 1942 and 1952; Paul VI in 1967; and John Paul II in 1982, were not fully efficacious, because they were not made in union with the bishops of the world. She also speaks of the “Consecration of the world, according to the request of Our Lady.”
In a note in response to a question from Father Robert Fox, Sister Lucia reaffirmed what she wrote in her letter: “Yes it was accomplished, and since then I have said that it was made. And I say that no other person responds for me, it is I who receive and open all letters and respond to them.”
In a 1990 interview with Cardinal Vinal of the Philippines, she said: “The Holy Father has performed the Consecration-it is done."
Lucia was visited by the Apostolic Nuncio after the consecration of Russia on the 25th March 1984, who asked her: “Is Russia now consecrated?” She answered “Yes, now it is ...was done as Our Lady requested”.
Sr. Lucia wrote in her book “The Message of Fatima”: “This consecration was made, publicly, in Rome, by the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, on the 25th of March, 1984”
In 2001, in conversation with Archbishop Bertone, the Archbishop asked her: “What have you to say about the stubborn assertions of Father Gruner, who has been collecting signatures, asking the Pope to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at last, as if this has never been done?” Sister Lucia replied: “...I have already said that the consecration desired by Our Lady was made in 1984, and has been accepted in heaven ...How many things they are putting in my mouth, how many things they make me seem to do”.
During a discussion with Cardinal Ricardo Vidal in 1993, Sister Lucia said: “We are now in the post-consecration period”.

This talk has details I've never heard! Striking is the >exceeding< modesty of Mary: her hair wasn't visible and NOT showing was her feminine shape of body, so that her clothing draped her form going straight down without curves, even her breast was only barely noticeable.
Second, perhaps even more striking, was the apparently tangible reality of the thorns piercing Mary's heart: unlike everything else described by Lucia about Our Lady that radiated light and light-filled colors, the thorns >were NOT fashioned by these indescribable lights; instead, they were of dark shades and appeared to be of this Earth's origin.< Father said the key point: they (the thorns) were from us. >Each of us by our sins< put those thorns into Our Lady's heart.

I have been wondering - since Sister Lucia has been instrumental in the strong and ever-growing devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, why has she not been canonized while the two children already have? What is necessary to bring her finally to the sainthood that she deserves? I would appreciate an answer from anyone, but especially from the Carmelite and Dominican orders.

There's no supporting evidence and her family have consistently across her entire life continued to visit her, as well as close acquaintances. We have primary sources written by family members about visits to her, including of one of her nephews who was a priest. He wrote a book which included detailed accounts of visits he made while he gave tours of landmarks to other people yet he never says it’s a different person. None of her family have ever said it is a different person. This theory would mean that family, priests, clergy, cardinals and even popes would have to be liars and also involved in a large conspiracy. What actual evidence do you have for this being true?
You can find facts about Sister Lucia in the 4 books of Frere Michel de la Sainte Trinite, “The WholeTruth about Fatima”. Volume 1 and volume 4 are difficult to find. Interesting. I have been in search of volume 4, “In the end my Immaculate Heart will Triumph”. It’s like it never existed.
I wouldn't recommend his works at all, they are riddled with errors. One example is his mistaken assertion that the dogma being preserved in Portugal was the opening of the third secret despite Lucia clearly not being able to write down the third secret. That phrase is in the fourth memoir of Sr. Lucia and clearly expresses she can only write what she is allowed to say and not the third part of the secret. The phrase can only possibly be the ending of the second part of the secret. At the time of the consecration of the world, there was a revival of the faith in Portugal and upon the praying of the rosary as Mary instructed with the consecration, the communists in Portugal were overthrown. A second huge example of error in his work is his unbased speculation of there being a second text of the third secret, there was never any evidence of this, the claim originated with Frère Michel and he had no source, which is very characteristic of his work.

In a letter to Sister Mary of Bethlehem in August 1989, due to dispute about whether the consecration really counted and whether the Pope had actually done what was required, to set the record straight Sister Lucia wrote: “Afterward [Pope John Paul II] wrote to all the bishops of the world asking them to unite themselves to him. He had the statue of Our Lady of Fatima [from the Cova da Iria chapel] brought to Rome on March 25, 1984. Then publicly, in union with those bishops who wished to associate themselves with His Holiness, he made the consecration in the way in which the Blessed Virgin had wished that it should be made. Afterward people asked me if it was made in the way our Lady wanted, and I replied: “Yes.” From that time, it is made!"
Sister Lucia says in the letter that the previous consecrations made by Popes Pius XII in 1942 and 1952; Paul VI in 1967; and John Paul II in 1982, were not fully efficacious, because they were not made in union with the bishops of the world. She also speaks of the “Consecration of the world, according to the request of Our Lady.”
In a note in response to a question from Father Robert Fox, Sister Lucia reaffirmed what she wrote in her letter: “Yes it was accomplished, and since then I have said that it was made. And I say that no other person responds for me, it is I who receive and open all letters and respond to them.”
In a 1990 interview with Cardinal Vinal of the Philippines, she said: “The Holy Father has performed the Consecration-it is done."
Lucia was visited by the Apostolic Nuncio after the consecration of Russia on the 25th March 1984, who asked her: “Is Russia now consecrated?” She answered “Yes, now it is ...was done as Our Lady requested”.
Sr. Lucia wrote in her book “The Message of Fatima”: “This consecration was made, publicly, in Rome, by the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, on the 25th of March, 1984”
In 2001, in conversation with Archbishop Bertone, the Archbishop asked her: “What have you to say about the stubborn assertions of Father Gruner, who has been collecting signatures, asking the Pope to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at last, as if this has never been done?” Sister Lucia replied: “...I have already said that the consecration desired by Our Lady was made in 1984, and has been accepted in heaven ...How many things they are putting in my mouth, how many things they make me seem to do”.
During a discussion with Cardinal Ricardo Vidal in 1993, Sister Lucia said: “We are now in the post-consecration period”.
