Good review. I've got a 18 Slim and so far I love it, haven't been on long rides yet, but good to know its comfortable, this i my 3rd Harley and definitely the best riding one so far
Good vid I own a 2013 slim unmodified I have put 780 miles in one day, unplanned In my opinion if you add a windshield You might as well be driving a car For me it kills the experience of being on a motorcycle Same with a full face helmet I agree the slim is the most comfortable bobber style cruiser ever produced. Other than a soft bag and some personalization items the bike needs nothing
Agreed! These bagger boyz complaining they need better speakers on their rides reminds me that a motorcycle has a purpose and a car has a purpose, don't mix!
I just traded my 08 Super Glide Custom in for a 14 Softail Slim. Most comfortable Harley I've ever ridden. I be doing my first video soon. Let the upgrades begin. I may try the Street Bob seat to get me closer to the bars. Thanks for your videos, I'm a new sub.
Hi I have 2019 softail slim 2019 it’s a beautiful bike very comfortable I got Harley Davidson 12inch Chizeled bar’s Harley-Davidson sundowner seat. I will be getting heated grips and 18inch windshield because I live on the other side of the pond 😎London England 🏴 it’s flipping get really 🥶 if you do highway riding do get yourself windshield you won’t regret. Safe Ride 🤘🤘🥃🥃
Love ❤️ your Slim. Spotless condition & a credit to you. Just the way I like to keep my bike too. I nearly bought a 2019 Slim as I love the old school look, however I preferred the extra features like panniers, cruise control, tubeless tyres etc on the Sportglide so I went with it instead. The Slim 😎 however, is still one of my favourite Harley's though. Ride safe.👍
Can't you just customize the Slim in similar manner? That's what I'm considering doing if I buy the Slim. I know it'll cost, but Slim base price is $16k, that gives you about $2600 to catch to base price of the Sport Glide. Im still debating this, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
vlag3 i have this 2020 slim only differences in my opinion from the sport glide and the slim is the sport comes with bags and a comes with radio. U can toss bags and put a decent radio and mini ferring if you wanted. Everything with Harley is expensive lol good luck 👍
Hi ,,new Subscriber. Traded my 18 xl1200cx for Silver 2020 Low rider s with Forwards , Eliminator 300s plus few cosmetics and I also have a 19 Gsxs 750z. Your bike is Amazing.
Hey man,,I just traded my 18 Stage 1 79 lb 80 bhp Roadster that pulled 106 in Third gear alone For the 2020 Low rider S..The Slim is an Authentic HD that'll exceed your expectations..If you like the look , you will Not be disappointed..

Hello, for better understanding and to have a better idea of the seating comfort...how long is your arm reach? I am 32-33" in reach, and I am looking to get the reach handles. Thanks, great video.
Nice background music bro!.... Metallica always works man, even for dinner music!.. Lol, o yea awesome bike too.... Just got a new sub!... Glad to be aboard
I have ridden the new Lowrider S. Its definitely fun. I would put all three bikes in different categories though. The SG feels like it has a longer wheelbase and is very stable. The lowrider s is very sporty but handles a little different than the slim due to the wider rear tire and inverted forks. The slim is in a category of its own because of its classic look. In my opinion the slim is best handling - shorter wheelbase and narrow rear wheel.
@@aztriumphster thx, I have tested the SG (felt good), the LRS is planned next friday. Unfortunately, the slim is unavailable for testing but I do like the look of it (classic), too bad it misses things like cruise control, adjustable shock (toolless) etc. The SG seems the best 'deal' but I kinda dislike the modern look.
@@lapinobel if you are not apposed to putting work into the SG after u get it, u can make any bike look however u want. The same could be said for the slim and what its lacking

You sound young. That's the greatest contribution to the comfortable ride. I guarantee it.
Excellent review - narrowing my choice down to this. I like the street bob too, but the 5 gallon tank on this is more appealing.
That color is amazing. Goad you enjoyed the long ride. My longest trip is 300.

Thanks man!
I’m really considering getting a slim, currently have a sportster 1200xlc

Would a bike cover fit in the day bag? That's what people are interested in. The practical side of life. Good video. Make the next one great!

They are the Dean Speed Customs KD-T bars. Just tall enough to run stock cables and wires. Check out my most recent video.

I am getting 40 MPG locally, what did you get?
Oh man that was so long ago I dont remember. Ill have to let u know on my next fillup with the fat bob
Have you been able to test the new Low Rider S? How does it compare? Really in doubt between this, the LRS and the SG. Love the look of the slim best.

How many miles did you get to the tank??
Oh geeze its been so long since this ride... um I think I averaged around 45mpg
Next video when you talk about yourself such as in the bars: get on the bike and give a visual. It's far superior to talk.
