I met him, and he was as transparent and wonderful as can be. Back in 82 I had a college punk radio show with 4 listeners not counting friends and family and he came in to promote Zombie Birdhouse. Everyone else was ripping him for the album and I thought it was his best work since The Idiot. He was really cool and grateful.

The new album is sonically amazing. This song is incredible & also Strung Out Johnny. Post Pop Depression is hard to beat for me though from the recent albums. Free has some strong songs as well. Loving this later career peak! Utter legend.
