I think I want Emily on Last Meals now
This segment is my favorite of the MyKi series because of Emily. Her acting is like an Oscar Wilde play. Energetic, regal, and chaotic all rolled into one. Blanche is definite the best role she plays as well. I like how Emily goes back and forth between the character she's acting and herself because you don't know if its her being subtle or crude about a subject. Josh reacts trepidatious to it as well so that's a fun bonus.
Emily/Blanche: You should meet me husband.
Josh: Yea...no thanks.
Emily/Blanche: We get into tomfoolery!
Josh: *nervous smile* that's some weird stuff *eyebrow raised*
Random Fact: The world just needs MORE Emily. 🤩 I just adore her. Oh... Josh is pretty great too. 😝

In the 80s I was working as a rail crewman unloading new cars in Benicia California. And that was were I was at when the Southern Pacific Daylight Special came rolling down the tracks
That old steam engine passenger train was really a sight to see. So awesome. I believe it was stopped being used in the 50s and they brought it back for an anniversary.
Ok I love the historical trivia and banter and everything else in this series, but also that hat looks FANTASTIC on Emily, WOW. Someone just needs to get her a hat pin to keep it from sliding off!

French President Paul Deschanel's story is perhaps far more insane that what Josh shared. A few choice rumors: it is said he used to dress up as a chimney sweep to take a stroll on the famous Place de la Concorde in Paris or that he once welcomed a foreign delegation while dressed in a diving suit and helmet or that he used to climb trees in the presidential garden while talking with his collaborators. All these have to be taken with a grain of salt.
Here are my nominations for folk to play the part of Blanche’s husband, the Baron, Baron Von Baron: Jordan (great comedic chemistry); Chase (he’ll never be able to keep a straight face); or rotate the Mythical Kitchen staff through the part - anyone of them are extremely talented and I’m sure would LOVE the opportunity to bag on Josh.

Sleeping in a hammock is actually the best way to do it on a train/boat, because of gravity. The hammock will hang down and be relatively motionless while the train/boat rocks back and forth. An actual bed would be less comfortable because you'd feel every movement/bump.

Emily's entire contribution to the cooking in this episode was: 1. adding the herbs to the pot 2. adding the tomato sauce 3. putting flowers on the jelly chicken. I love it lol

I am not a rich person but personally what's wrong with a champagne brunch almost reminds me of drinking mimimos for breakfast or even lunch or really anytime and sometime the weirdest meals are the most tasty meals. I am someone who loves to experiment lol

Oh my gosh, Josh and Emily returning to the first class is my dream come true. Her character is my favorite, the Titanic episode was so funny I woke up my roommate at 3am to watch it when I first saw it. More, more, more.
