I just look at her face or eyes and try to not see the words… like is she and I were chatting in real life. It works pretty well, but I agree with you, it would be nice to have the option to turn them off. Also, congrats on your Spanish learning journey!
I LOVE MOLE! My exgirlfriend used to make it with chicken, rice and crema and the taste was simply freaking delicious!
