I didn't really bother with this watch due to the hype in the market, but when I saw this watch in the real world I was blown away with the finishing. Now I have two Powermatic 80s, one PRX in dark green and one PRS 516 with a grey sunray dial. Tissot is a great entry point into the world of Swiss watches.
P Pression R Robust X 10bar 100 meter water resistance ❤❤ What an amazing watch 🤌🤌 Integrated bracelet See though case back Waffle design Butterfly clasp 80 hrs reserve Cocain hai cocain 😂😂
i will surely buy the tissot prx powermatic 80 mechanical dark blue dial watch one day when i have enough money to be able to afford that. it's such a beautiful piece. it's one of my most favorite watches.
For the next life changing moment in my career, I am going to be the gift this special watch to myself. ❤ Just love the elegance of this watch. Nothing comes close to it.💞
I was enamored by the design of the watch. In the store, I realised the polish & finish is too notch; way better than its price point. Bought 2 in the same dial colour - dark green. I use 1 as my daily, the other is sitting in my cupboard for use once this wears out. The powernatic 80 keeps time perfectly. Size & weight are also perfect. Extremely versatile also. Strap is a scratch magnet though 🙂 PRX - Precision, Robustness, 10 bar depth rating.
You have a nice, clear and concise way of communicating. Congratulations and wish you all success. On the watch itself, I really liked it when it first came out and I saw the images. But when I tried it on, it didn’t sit well on my wrist. I think it looked too bulky. Also I feel it’s become too ubiquitous. Later I got the Citizen Tsuyosa with a guilloche dial. It has a small seconds sub dial, a 60 hour power reserve and is much cheaper than the PRX. It’s an absolute beauty and it’s quickly become one of my favourites. Please review it if you get a chance.
Thanks for the appreciation. Citizen has done amazing work with their Tsuyosa collection, and the one you mentioned with the small seconds is crazy for the price it retails at. I have been stopping myself from buying anymore, I already have 3 citizen watches. 🙈
While I know that this is one of the iconic watch models, I’m curious to know what does the quartz variant have (apart from brand value) to deserve a price tag of 30K in comparison with other watches with similar specs (100 m water resistance, SS case, Sapphire crystal) which cost much less. I’d love to see a one-one comparison between this one and say, Edifice EFR-S108.
I don't see a lot of value in the quartz version, as you rightly mentioned that the specs are comparable to a ₹10k watch. I feel, it's mostly the brand value and the signal value of owning a Swiss watch.
Hello Bhaiya, I am a 2nd-year bachelor’s student, and my biggest concern is that I’m quite slim, with thin wrists. Despite this, I have an undying love for watches. Over the years, I’ve gifted all my friends some amazing timepieces, but ironically, I’ve never owned one for myself. My dream watch is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, but as a student, it’s something I can’t afford right now. So, I’ve decided that it’s time to start my own collection with a watch that feels special, even if it’s humble. I love your taste and expertise, and I’d love it if you could recommend a watch for me. This would become my very first piece-a treasured start to my journey as a watch enthusiast. Looking forward to your reply. Sending lots of love and gratitude from a long-time admirer.
Thanks for your words. I can understand. I had the same problem, my wrists were super thin when I was in college, still I used to wear a 42-43mm Fastrack 😅. I used to avoid bracelets. Currently it's not important what you wear as long as you like wearing a timepiece on your wrist. I can't suggest anything without knowing the budget but do check the edifice EFR-S108. The dial is quite slim and you can reduce the bracelet length. Wishing you to buy a JLC in future. ❤️
PRX and the Gentlemen has the same movement, so internally nothing is different. Will surely make a video on the gentlemen If I can get my hands on one.
Hello bro 👋 I am thinking to buy this watch. Can you tall me from which country should i try to buy? And one more thing can we get this watch from army Canteen?
No, you can't get it from Army canteen. Do buy it from India though. Last I checked from Helios watch Store, they were offering a discount of 5-10% depending on your negotiation skills. Don't buy online, offline stores will give better discounts.
I don't think we can call it a flaw, has it caused any problem?, No. Mainspring has become synthetic in a lot of watches and no one calls that out. It's the popularity of the PRX that people mention this. It's called "Til ka taad banana" in my dictionary. 🫣
@@TheWatchlist.Official looking for a diver watch as i love the look and the compact design and looking for analog not chronograph. So i can go with the watch na?
Yeah, if you like the design, go for it. It would be better if you can try it on in an offline store, to get the feel of it. It will help you solidify your decision. The look is of a diver's watch but it doesn't have a diver's bezel.
@@TheWatchlist.Official Actually no piece in my whole hometown. That is the catch. One last thing is it safe to directly order from timex website or order from a offline chain. We have just in time and helios here.
Please do your research. Don't just listen to anyone. It has some synthetic part which is more durable and reliable and keeps the watch accurate. It is present in all the Powermatic movement including Hamilton watches. It's not the PRX.
@@TheWatchlist.Official the reason we buy mechanical watches in the 21st century is nostalgia and the love for the craft. To cherish a mechanical watch we need to fall in love with the mechanism. I need to see myself spending years with my watch, have a relationship. But the p80 movement is as dispensible as a quertz movement. It has a shorter more pre defined shelf life. After 10 years I might go to a tissot service center and never get my old movement back. More than the plastic parts and lack of regulation spring, the disposable nature of the movement troubles me. Its like this is a mechanical watch without the heart.
Not a good watch , got gift from brother from USA , scratch on screen and band already with minimum use also 😢 don't buy.. Better go for other brand.. Never buying TISSOT again
