I'm blessed to have a daughter-in-law who not only shops and cooks "clean," but is also informed about my lectin issues. When she cooks for me, it's not only delicious but also healthful, and I feel both loved and good afterward.

Thanks for posting! Confirms why I don't like eating out because of the poor quality unhealthy food. Salads are always soaked in oil, not organic. Almost impossible to find an organic healthy meal at any cost. Not to mention I've gotten food poisoning several times at brand places. Best to avoid eating out in the US at least.

I was in Las Vegas a couple months ago and I went into P.F. Chang’s a recommendation from two guys working at Cabo Wabo. I had a broccoli bowl with shrimp. It was wonderful. I jokingly asked for extra broccoli and the waiter says “no problem And there’s no extra charge for that. Keep looking and you’ll find something.

Thank you Dr. Gundry! The first 10 videos I watched from your channel made me kind of dislike you-but now I love you. While listening to you, made me think I’d rather cook from home. Not a big “eat out” person anyway. I am just beginning to apply clean eating-literally I’m on my Week 3

Thank you so much! I love going out for dinner and now it has been really challenging.
Could I ask something? Since I’m following your awesome method, something like 1 year agog I went from 61 kg to 50/51 kg I feel great! I have AS. That was my weight in my 20’s
But sometimes I feel that maybe I’m so thin. I eat well, delicious and I’m not hungry at all! I don’t know if I should eat more. I insist I feel great!

I would think that there would be some options at Mediterranean, north African, and Indian restaurants. You tend to see kabobs, roasted or stewed meats, options for steamed or baked fish, salad options, lentil soups, yogurt based marinades, ghee used for the fat in cooking, or a tandoor used as the cooking device.

The only thing I do get out of all those choices is Chinese food. When I get it I order steam broccoli with steam mushrooms. I have it to go and have it over a sweet potato at home with some goat cheese. Everything else is a no go. Especially with lack of money in these hard times.

I have observed that because I no longer eat in restaurants, I don't get sick anymore! That said, restaurants cook all their food in toxic tap water and use aluminum pots/pans and non-organic GMO foods! Good places to AVOID if one wishes to maintain optimal health!

Mexican is difficult especially cheese. But give up tacos 🌮😋 might be a sin even during lent--fish tacos. But does corn (masa aroma) really contain Lectins?? It is prepaid using:
Lime water has been used for centuries for soaking corn kernels or corn flour to make hominy or masa harina (or just masa), respectively, in a process known as nixtamalization (from the Aztec) (2). Lime water is alkaline, which frees-up the niacinamide (niacin or Vitamin B3) from being bound in the whole grain, making it available for absorption and preventing the niacin-deficiency disease known as pellagra in cultures whose diet is based on corn.

Dr. Gundry defending MSG, really?! Gives me worse bloat than anything, plus sleeplessness. While I have no problem whatsoever with any kind of dairy or meat. Picky with some things, then full go ahead with sheer poison. Sorry but this doc’s advice gets weirder and weirder.
