Melody is smart to say "I need a little more time on it". I never feel quite right on a wheel until I've spent a couple of hundred miles on it. Be interesting to here what the off-road ppl have to say about it.
So basically, it rides exactly how it looks. Those High pedals definitely don't equal a sense of planted stability, it sounds like. But the wheel doesn't seem to be made for the street anyway seems like more of an off-road race wheel so I'm sure it'll be great for that.
LeaperKim finally just changed their firmware (at least on the Lynx) to remove the pedal movements on turns and such. That was a huge difference. With that now removed, more people will be happier with the LK wheels. Other than that, LK wheels are just tuned more for safety and Begode are tuned for raw power.
@@DawnSChampion Are the Lp wheels more gradual in power delivery and floaty and Begode more abrupt and sharp? Is that how you would differentiate the ride feel between the two?
@ oh no, the LP wheels are still excellent performance wheels. It’s just that they will lack that “extra”. The top end speed, the thing that the ETMax has that makes me squeal in delight, that “extra” torqiness.
Dude in the Gray sweater is super smooth with it. I feel like I really need to get my skills up after seeing that display.

Xway looking good but some problems with the suspension still persist... personally prefer my Lynx..
i prefer lynx too
Tough to beat the Lynx as an all around wheel.
Good wholesome video
So cool to get different perspectives in one video

The Xway seems poised to become a dominant player in the market. If only it were a tad lighter, it would be my next choice for a wheel.
Get it in the 2400wh version and it will be lighter.
@dnthmn117 yeah I was thinking that. I need to learn more about that version first. I'm only seeing the higher voltage one being reviewed.
@@skipsmoto the 2400 is mostly special order. The 3000wh version is about as light as it can be--batteries just weigh a lot haha.
@@skipsmotoI have seen 134V reviews on here from the guys in the UK
what's the consensus on the X way vs the Apex for off road?
Hi Dawn,
How tall X-Way ?
Xway or Apex? Thx
I don’t know the Apex
Dawn, can you tell us what the main differences are in the ride feel and firmware between Leaperkim and Begode wheels?

Is the xway setup for the tallest setting? I'm interested in the first level height on the airshock that was demonstrated a couple of months ago
😊😊
Dawn, you're beautiful.
Awww, thank you!! ❤️
