I’ve been saying the ETMax is the best performance wheel since the beginning. Now look which wheel has been winning ALL the last races. I know performance when I feel it. 😁😁
Out of my wheels, the ET Max is my favorite for everything except trail riding. One of the biggest reasons is how well balanced it is. It's bottom-heavy and feels like a weeble wobble. You'd have to TRY to get it to fall over. The height isn't great for extremely tight turns, but it's so easy to control with your legs and keep steady because of it. Love it.
And, very impressive going that fast with a 360 camera. People don't realize how hard it is keep that selfie stick against the wind. Thanks Dawn, very entertaining!
Crazy speed, Dawn! And, while holding a selfie stick, lol! The two GPS systems giving different readings really shows the accuracy of GPS... Yeesh. Might want to consider getting some riding pants rated for longer slides at those speeds. Be careful around cars near max PWM folks. If there's a time where your risk of cut out gets high, it's gonna be in those circumstances, and you don't want to be near any cars. See Duf.. even though Duf was because of a flat tire.
Happy new year Dawn, This video was so dope! I had to finish it before I went to sleep. And I have to be up in less then 4 hours lol 🎉 congratulations…spectacular speed run
@@reitze01 first, she had 3 different speeds and the average between the two gps speeds is below 65. even if it was 65, 65 is obviously not 70. did you flunk elementary dude?
@@Blox117 you obviously flunk communciation. Instead of being interested in my point you try to get me about gps vs indicated speed? Naw, bug off troll.
The ET Max really is a special wheel. Unlimited power... not made for everyone thats for sure. I checked the PWM on my Blitz through EUC world and it was reading 16% remaining at cutout haha, luckily Ive been limiting myself based on what I had heard the wheel can do. I adjusted the calibration and its reading accurately now! Ride safe out here Dawn!
Hi, ... Have had the battery passively retreating from a full charge problem. ... I started disconnecting from charger at 100%. Turning on the wheel for 30-seconds while at a standstill. Then turning the wheel off until ready to ride. . Now my wheel stays at 4.18 volts per cell for a couple of days instead of mysteriously losing charge. ... Thank you for the tips in your videos over last couple years. ... Ride well !!!
Yes, this is a good tip! And if it stops charging before 100%, disconnect and reconnect. This can sometimes kick it back into charging again. This might have to be done a few times. PITA!! 😂
I wish you could have made it to China. They would have had a riot, with you max speed testing their new wheels. Have any of the manufacturers requested your services to test their speeds? Thx
Youre a daredevil dawn, congrats on the new top speed. You're crazy for standing the whole way. I also used to chase top speed until i had a cut 😅. Im more of a seated rider; i know you dont like sitting but would it be easier if you was sitting to try and reach top speed? Its easier for me of im sitting down so im not fighting the wind the whole time, and more aerodynamic
Could you please tell me or make a video on your settings for this ETMax❓️ I'm trying to choose between the ETMax Commander GT PRO+ or maybe the Leaperkim Lynx. Thanks 😊
I’ll get like 30 miles riding at 50mph. 20 miles at 60mph 40 miles at 40mph But if I’m riding normal like in a group ride, I get more range than my EX30.
@DawnSChampion oh that's not too bad. I don't live in a city that allows that kind of speed. But even if I did, I think my muscles will tire out very quickly because it's always windy here. Lol.
Hey Dawn, do you know how to fix the battery issue? I believe mine might have the same thing, it will charge up to 100% but it seems when I turn it off and on again it goes down to 90.
@@R1C4RD0R3D15 once it charges to 100%, unplug it. Before a ride, plug it back in to top off. It’s just that if you leave it plugged it, it starts discharging again. Hmmm…i’ll make a quick video about this…hold on
@@DawnSChampion Ok. What I had actually done was i charged it up to 100%, unplugged it, and waited until the next day to ride. Then i noticed it went down to 90%. Could it be that I waited?
What was your personal best on the ex30 I’ve gotten it too 48 but not sure if the speedometer on the wheel is correct did you adjust the speed settings so it reads correctly on darkness bot? If you did could you tell me what you set it to Tia happy new year
No I don’t bother with DB speed because I always use my Garmin Gps. I think my personal best on the EX30 was 63mph wheel speed, back when they had one good firmware. Then they added Field Weakening and messed everything up and now I’m super conservative on it.
@ Well, mine are the 50 GB’s. I heard they are similar. Just have a high cycle rate meaning you can charge it more I guess but essentially I was told their 50 and what firmware are you running because the race no dip it shouldn’t dip mine doesn’t it could be your motherboard because I just had mine replaced and it’s a whole lot better like 100 times better mine used to dip too like back-and-forth But now it’s straight solid. It just dips a little bit when I accelerate not as much as it used to. So you think that I can comfortably hold 50. I’ve been afraid to take it past 45 lol I’ve been chicken shit lately especially after my crash. It’s hard to get up to speed. I got PTSD lol
When I say dip, I mean I’ll be at around 50 mph, hit a bump, and it would almost cut out. Dips are no good at all. It’s like the FW spread it out so thin but didn’t leave anything for torque. I could easily overtorque. But yea, it could be because I have a V1 with 50 E batteries
Well, the ETMax will charge to 166v and Begode says that’s on purpose, they don’t want wheels charging all the way to full. The new ETMaxs should not have the same battery issue mine did.
@@DawnSChampion But it's easy to catch wobbling at high speed. You can control standing at low speed and sit down at high speed, so you won't be afraid that the wheel will start to wobble on some roughness of the road.

re: "I want to keep myself 100% safe" As a fellow rider: this is stupid fast Dawn. How much is too much? 60? 70? 80? Treating these things like motorcycles is not going to end well. As a fan: I am worried for you, and the community, please take it down a notch.
