@Joel Conolly I owned a 18 in laptop in 2005. So they use to make them that big but the trend is to make laptops smaller and thinner so they did away with that size for a while. I am glad they are going back to 18 inches. I just bought my Razer Blade Pro 17 in 2022. I wish i have known i would have waited a little longer.

I am surprised by the complaints and dependence of people for numpad and programmers who always want a more and more compact keyboard, I see a numpad and it shocks me visually as an unnecessary and not very aesthetic weight, I prefer better that space for the speakers.

I appreciate they keep the clean keyboard layout as these keys are only for emergencies. Normal gamers would definitely have a usb keyboard esp with such a giant 18 inch device

@@BlingJ. i have a 15inch laptop . It barely fits into the backpack let alone the charger and cables . And u can hardly put anything else there and it's damn heavy to carry around it's freaking 3 kilos . Now think about how 18inch would be . And don't tell me to change the backpack . It's already a big one

My 17 inch laptop + charger (a really heavy one) and cable weights about 3.7 kilos
@@donttouchme8854 many gaming laptops weight 3 kilos with the charger . Legion 5 for example . I think 0.7 kilos is a reasonable difference between a 15 and a 17inch laptop
