It’s so funny watching this in 2018 because here Lindsay and Pasek and Paul were “up and coming” and now they’re all Tony winners!! And Derek Klena was basically unknown and now he’s a huge star!! I’m so happy they all went on to have such bright futures ❤️❤️❤️
This was foreshadowing at its best.. But I don't anyone could have predicted that she would or could be this PHENOMENAL as Elphaba... I absolutely LOVE HER AS ELPHABA ... Wow!! But I do want to see DogFight now...
Reprise really wasn't the "Encores of LA". They did staged full productions with the cast off book. Sometimes they were very good, other times they were half-assed Summerstock. I think the shows would have been better had they stuck to the Encores model and do staged concert versions of the shows.
I personally think, she could be a great Elphaba. Yes, she's a little gusty at times, but I think she could tone it down at times as well. I mean, I love those kind of "gusty" Elphaba's (Shoshana Bean, etc.) for example. It really pays off during No Good Deed. We can only hope :D
Well, I've only stated that she should play Elphaba because a few weeks ago, she sang The Wizard and I infront of Schwartz at a concert. I thought she could be a perfect fit really. I mean, there is a lot of "talented female vocalist", but then again you don't see us saying it to most girls because we have an idea that they would not fit the part good. Who do you want to see in the role? I'd like to see Heather Headley in the role, it'll be something WAY different but I think she can pull it off
I'm thinking she's 40. On the backstage video when she was in Godspell, it was her birthday as well that day. While looking at the cake someone said"40!"
