It's so fun playing "I Spy" with all the changes between this footage and present day footage of your homestead....from the garden, to the barn, to the deck inside the garage...it's amazing to see all the hard work the Milnes family has put into the homestead. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
It is wonderful that you were able to recover this lost footage! Not going to lie; but, I would have been a little freaked out after finding out that you were actually on a lake. Lol! Aaron did a great job though. That Argo is a beast! God bless you all!
@@modernhomesteadalaska my Dad ( RIP) was a hunter , fisherman and forager was 6 foot 7 and like your good husband had the wild hair and untamed beard , brings back sweet memories of all the times he brought us with him when we were kids and older ❤️
@@aprilriordan8202 I love that! The memories being made are everything. I almost didn’t share, but remembered that was the first day ever Kodie, Aaron or I had went moose hunting. And many years down the road we can say remember when and have a video of it. So I posted it for the memory factor more than anything
@@modernhomesteadalaska Jessica just wanted to clarify that I was in no way implying your husband is unkept , he is far from it , I was just fondly remembering my Dad when his beard and hair was getting unruly before a cut , bushy would of been a better description 😊
Hi sweet one! That was great footage! I have been out of pocket for 17 days from the hurricane! No power for 9 days, then no internet, tv or phone for another 8 days. We got a lot of damage from downed trees and lost part of our back fence. Slowly we are getting things back to normal....YIKES!!! I am playing catch up now!! Big hugs and many lessings!
Hi Jessica and sweet family! Wow, that was a real adventure. Putting the tracks on was a job. I always dreaded helping my husband fix the dozer tracks, it was a hard job. Hope everyone has a very blessed week! ❤️
Get yourself two large C clamp vise grips pliers, then you can just let air out front and rear tires. Makes it real easy then. In the woods its possible to use a strap to get them close then the pliers, you can get by without deflating tires so much. 🙂

Right and it’s not even been a year! I’m like wow the amount of just road base we have put in to stop the pools of water is shocking.
