Oh...Did this music bring back teen memories. I was 17--a high school senior and the year was 1967. I met my first love who was also a senior. We went to different schools. But, there would be problems that could not be resolved. I was a tall blonde ( who have smooth dance moves). The senior I met was tall and dark---his name was Juan and he had moved from Puerto Rico to the U.S. when he was 14. There was definitely (chemistry) between us but in 1967...our relationship was looked down upon and that was by both our parents and others. We continued to date...but we both were heading to college. He was accepted into the Colorado Air Force Academy. I was staying in Philly for my education. It has been over 50 years since I saw Juan....but I often think about him. "True Love Never Dies."
His voice is insane, and continues to have a powerful voice.. Definitely as a lover of both English and Spanish songs I can say that he is one of the most incredible interpreters I've heard hands down!
