- This is the Daihatsu Sirion. I bought it for my sister about a year ago as a first car, and it's been running flawlessly ever since. Today we took it out for a review.

had a 1.2L I4 version of this car which was pretty banged up and it was definitely fast enough.

around here we have this car but from Toyota, it's the Duet and sports a 4 speed manual gearbox fun little car to drive
@gum no, if a car is this fast and is that low spec then you should do manual instead of automatic, not only to go faster but to save money.

Remember to lo lower the bars on the left so the ones on the right remains high and the car will go faster.
give it some faster ram. clean up the timings and he will get a better 0-60 time.

I was in the middle of posting this, holy crap and then I saw this.

Just to let you know! I am now the proud owner of this exact car! It still runs amazing! And the pull off is still as punchy, which is very surprising xD. I do also regularly get it up to 70 on the dual carriageway quite quickly, but it does really struggle with the hill. It is also my first car, and so far I'm finding it perfect! Also the camera does the colour no justice, it's definitely more a custard yellow then the tinge of green it shows.

You can't go wrong with a japanese car. If I had to buy a Sirion it would be a silver one though, with manual gearbox and the 1.3L engine. That car was really snappy and did't look so ridiculus back then :)
I actually have a silver 2007 sirion 1.3 5 speed and...well i paid 1300 for it and i've put 30.000km on it in 9 months and the only thing it needed was new brakepads and a battery and it passed the tüv easily, and it gets 5l/100km....it is rather ugly tho

The 1.3 manual has a high compression engine that with a manual is far sportier than the 1.0 auto. I love this colour on the prefacelift but would have to have the 1.3 with double the HP and a propper transmission. Great vid as well by the way. Get some decent clothes haha
