Video recorded on Quest always gets translated terribly if syncing to your phone or to apps such as Facebook or messenger. Game runs smooth in the headset
If anyone uses a wired headset, invest in a pully system. It is cheap and easy to set up and take down in seconds. Game looks like decent fun, but Ill probably wait for a sale
@GAMERTAGVR some people probably would. Good call. Either way, if anyone reading this plays lots of Vr on a wired headset, do yourself a favor and get some pullies 😁
I've been playing Serious Sam 3 in VR so I'm used to fast paced VR shooters. Can't decide which version of this to get though, the PCVR version to play on Index, Quest 3 or PSVR2.
I used the quest games optimizer on this game to make it native resolution and 90hz with no overclock at all and it made the experience so much better on quest 3.
2-3 hours is a massive understatement. The base levels take hours to perfect, it is a rhythm game after all so you need to chase your scores. He also forgot to mention the side quests that unlock the perks that help get higher scores. There are 3 per level. I would say at least 10 hours to finish it. There is a lot of game here especially if you are into heavy music.
It is evident that they had difficulty carrying the game, because the graphics do not look very good, however. It sounds fun, and that's why I think it deserves a chance.
@@VRCore. its not far off at all though..come on man,you are crazy if you think the PSVR2 isnt capable of better than this...this is acceptable for Quest 3 but the PSVR2 should look as good as the flatscreen version 🤷🏻♂️

Playing on Quest and I have a series going. As someone who played the original, it’s awesome the game is being revived on VR. Come check out the videos I have published so far
I hope all boomer shooters come to VR TURBO OVERKILL and PRODEUS are some of my favorite I would love DOOM VFR released again but with revamped controls, I would buy again (already have the classic one on Steam)
Great review GT. The first thing that stood out to me was the less than stellar graphics. I don't see why the PSVR2 version looks that rocky considering the other beautiful VR games that can run on the same console. This game is in the "I might get it if it's on sale" territory for me
Both look good but because the PSVR2 CAN look really good, it definitely feels it’s missing some bells and whistles of our usual quality. The haptics though are fantastic
Quest 3 could look better as well, looks like a straight port from Quest 2 I think I will try the Steam Demo, the PCVR is supposed to be the best looking But there is too many good games coming Batman, Triangle Strategy, Metro Awakening, Ember Souls, Behemoth
Played the original on Xbox gamepass and enjoyed it, even though i sucked at it, cant keep a beat for the life of me. When I saw it coming to VR I was pretty excited to give it another go but it looks very mediocre. Especially the PSVR2 version. I am tired of PSVR2 getting Quest ports/versions of games. That is a great headset for what it wants to do, but PSVR2 is capable of so much more visually... yet devs seem to lack the interest to put any effort into it. Think I'm gonna pass on this, there are way better (VR) games launching these next few months that I want to get.
I think that is just a cop out developers like to use for coming up short on PSVR2 releases..PSVR2 owners know what PSVR2 is capable of,this just doesn’t do it justice..with my Quest 3,I expect decent but definitely lower quality graphics than PCVR and PSVR2.with PCVR and PSVR2,I expect high quality graphics 🤷🏻♂️
i'm not into rhythm games - and i am just confused why someone wants to combine that genre with a Doom-type game. If they just focused on the Doom/shooting part, you'd probably have a seriously good game in there somewhere.. would still need to be a bit bigger tho / more levels / harder difficulty / maybe a fun trophy list to get to platinum...
Icons can be annoying but the rhythm is the challenge. Not pulling the trigger when you want plus avoiding getting hit to keep the multiplier up is the pull
Nah, it's cool dude GIve it a chance I didn't tried the VR version yet, but tried the flatscreen HI-FI Rush is another brilliant game that mixes rhythm with action
The trouble with this game is that it faces the same problem in flatscreen: the flatscreen FPS control scheme is no better suited to rhythm than VR. (Which is why veteran players who keep the beat are crazy...)

Love the music in this game! It's amazing the amount of legends that they've gathered for it!
I hope that in PSVR2 the appearance of weapons will be improved and enemies will gain shadows, hopefully at launch.
Me too
Quest 3 version looks so choppy
Recording was bad yesterday. I messaged Meta and will be using MQDH casting going forward

Thanks Samson. Hope you’re well ✌️
I'm very interested in this one, but not for that price tag @ 2-3 hours

you dont play rhythm game for 2-3 hrs
Thanks GT!
Thanks for watching Gyorgy 🤝
I expected it to be worse on Quest 3. Holds up well.
The video/capture tools really don’t do it justice at all. Looks great for stand alone and the gameplay experience is the same
Is melee combat still bad ? I couldn't even understand when movement of the sword was checking the beat
No patch has been released yet, hell, the devs haven't even acknowledged the bugs players have been running into :/
Thanks GT.

I was thinking of getting the Steam copy on Thursday. Have you gotten a chance to try that version yet?

You can play the flat version in Vr. Will look exactly like the flatversion
