Do you happen to know if there is a huge graphical difference between the PCVR and Quest versions? Usually, I just pick games up on PC, but if this is the kind of "jump in quickly for a song or two" game, it might be cool on Quest because it's less effort and quicker to launch...
I'm glad to hear Batman will push VR headset sales because its honestly not appealing to me. Not a fan of games or movies made from comic books, but I like the idea of other people finally getting VR headsets so we have more companies paying attention to VR customers.
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 maybe laggy is a wrong word but the steam version is just a lot smoother, maybe its fps thing (i have no idea how many quest 3 has). And the graphics are visibly better on steam version
tbh i found the demo too difficult to keep the beat in general and it felt like a mod, can honestly say being in VR didn't add much for me music is great though
Rhythm games, especially those involving combat, like even the upcoming Batman which unfortunately sounds like the fighting is just as limited as Hellslut or whatever, need to figure out a way to allow for excess melee action without penalizing the flow of the game
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 high speculation on my end regarding Batman Matt, but even in your own review of Batman it seems if you're a little "overzealous" or in other words you get a real fighter or relatively athletic person in a VR rhythm-based combat system, they may see an open opportunity to strike his or her opponent and if the game deems it arbitrarily "off beat" it fucks up ones own rhythm or immersion is all I'm saying. Maybe there could be a way to allow for the "excess"?
@promermitsu but that is a completely different style of game. If you want a fighting sim try blade and sorcery or dragon fist vr just because the combat isn't one to one with real life doesn't mean it isn't awesome. The gameplay experience isn't meant to be athletic dependant. With way everyone can embody the dark night, not just the fit people. Similar to until you fall, the game isn't dependant on your irl sword fighting skills
@@Gamingwithmatteo311truuue!! I dig that! Don't get me wrong and I love video games being wholly accessible. Plus you're absolutely right these are completely different types of games than 1 to 1s. But I just mean even musically-physically, take jazz for example; ain't no mistakes made babyyy we just riffin'! We need a lil algoRHYthm in there to determine if maybe I can fit more jabs(notes) in one bar or section(opponent, strike opportunity etc) than others may be able to or even care to you should be able to riff off script but still on beat lol like the homies really wanna rock out on some metalhead shit real thrasher shit we tryna raise HELL!!!! 🤘😎
I'm old and file it all under rock. Even bands like disturbed and system of a down are frequently referred to as heavy metal, hard rock and alternative metal
No disrespect, I get why you do sponsored videos, kudos to you by stating it so at the beginning of the video but, I’m not falling for it again (after Starship Home) , I’m definitely not getting this one
I had a lot of people message me saying they really enjoyed starship home. I think I made it clear what the game was all about and didn't over sell it but no game is for everyone.
Was interested, but after all the reviews. Its a no for me dawg. Play this or pistol whip? Play this or hellsweeper? When this hits 5 dollars or Quest+ hands it out ill give it a playthrough for whatever tracks are on it and be done with it for good. Its not reimagined for VR in anyway and seems incredibly stiff. Edit: Pistol whip = Feel like John Wick vs. Metal Hellsinger = Feel like John Sit.

And a Steam and PSVR2 link?
I really enjoyed the flatscreen version.
Takes some time to get the hang of it, but once you do it just FLOWS!
definitely picking this up on VR
Great review Matteo! Such a badass game 🤘
This game runs and looks great on PCVR! Have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in the Quest 3 version's performance, but I still enjoyed it.
Finally a proper DOOM VR
I wish DOOM VFR was remastered with modern controls and released for Q3, Steam and PSVR2
@ZFCaio really it just needs a controls update. It plays so awfully. The game still looks great tho.
@@casteldredge I agree with you
The game was a blast !!! 💥 literally
Looks great on PSVR2
The q3 version is probably just the Q2 version
it should at minimum run better
I really like the demo on Steam and probably played like 2 hours. I'm addicted to into the radius right now but this is next on my list.
I enjoyed it for a bit. I was really looking forward to it. I enjoyed it for a bit, but it started getting old. I wish there were checkpoints.
this is so my next game once i finish the bioshock add on for half-life alyx. looks awesome
that bioshock mod will be hard to beat

It's big enough
quest version looks pretty bad imo. its also 36fps reprojected lol
Due to the constant reprojection on Quest alone, I would recommend PCVR! But yes, IMO, the graphics are much better.
@@JoeManji08 not as many games use reprojection on quest as you think. there are quite a few but a lot of games run native
Normally reprojection drives me nuts but I didn't notice it here. You sure it's 36 fps on quest 3?
Known as the unknown!

Pistol whip ishhhh ???😊
@@carlbode666 nah, that's on rails. This plays closer to doom
What chair are you using? Review on it please!!😊
friday
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 looking forward to it! 👍👍
I tried both versions and i think the quest one is a bit laggy but the steam version is perfect
Out of curiosity, Quest 2 or 3?
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 3

I tried the PC VR demo on Steam VR and the directional sound was all messed up
that sucks to hear, i hope they fixed it

Just a small amendment, it's metal music (with a lot of screaming etc.) not rock. Completed on Xbox, highly enjoyed mainly due to the soundtrack.
I'm old and file it all under rock. Even bands like disturbed and system of a down are frequently referred to as heavy metal, hard rock and alternative metal
Timing for Melee in the demo felt waaaaaaay off for me. Could not for the life of me find the beat with the sword.
same
You like those gun attachments? I have them coming in the mail
they're ok. very front heavy
I need a good "exercise game" without it being an exercise game for my unmotivated ass
Pistol whip will get you moving. Also, Agent Simulator, Dragon Fist, and Thrill of the Fight are decent active Vr games.

@senpaigrayson2448 this game doesn't play at all like pistol whip or hellsweeper. Like I said I enjoyed with much more in vr than flat
The psvr2 version looks a whole lot better
Yes it does
Nah
Only 5 bucks discount if you bought the original. Greedy devs. I'll be pirating this one.
I didnt like it.
sad to hear, not every game is for everyone.
Game was a big disappointment tbh.
