Great job on the reorg. I saw Thurn and Taxis in this video. It’s such an amazing game. It may be too beige for Jamie but I promise it’s fun and in a way it’s a racing game. I hope you like it.
I recently played it with my daughter after not playing it in years. I thought it would go on the cull pile before playing, but we both had a great time with it. Really nice gateway game-oldie but a goodie!
My favorite game is Disney Villainous. My favorite villains to play are Prince John, Dr Facilier, Yzma, Pete, Gaston and Madam Mim. I would love to see how good you guys are against me lol 😂
I can help you with some space. Just throw Windward in the garbage!! There!!! You have more space and don’t have to play that terrible game. You’re welcome!! 😂
Honestly--agreed. We have a LOT less games and Windward is one of them and I was just last night asking my son (Whose game it is) If we can get rid of it. It causes arguments in the house so we do not like playing it and now we basically play Wingspan all the times we used to pull out Windward. But my 15 year old is hoping to find another group that likes it and wants to hold onto it in hope
For some reason I'm watching this over again and I busted out laughing at "if you guys enjoy watching people trip over board games while trying to put it on shelves..." 2:52
You might want to start off by using that available outlet for any sort of backlighting you might be thinking of, as it's a pain to have to take things out and set it up once it's full.
Seeing your organisation also gives a good idea of all the games you own! Fantastic collection. Only a few games appear to be missing! You’ve almost everything good. 😂 The biggest miss are the T-series games by Daniel Taschini. Some Uwe hits like Feast and Le Havre. Then finally Luciani games namely Grand Austria Hotel, Marco Polo II, Lorenzo il Magnifico, the guy who did Barrage.
We’ve played Teotihuacan, and Jamie’s bro owns it so no need to add it to our collection. Feast for Odin we’ve played a ton of and it’s hard to find in our area - Jamie doesn’t love it so unlikely to be added. Grand Austria Hotel is definitely one we want to add though!
Wow....that's a lot of games. I just moved as well and I am also short on shelves. Come on IKEA! I organized mine sort of like the grocery store. Premium top tier (my favorite) games get the eye level spots. All the way down to the unplayed and rarely played games at the very bottom. I didn't organize in any other way but tried to fill the cubes completely (I also hate those gaps and wasted space). Good idea using the drawers for the small box games....mine are all over the place I was wondering how to store those.
Love the organization methodology and breakdown. I go through this every time I get a new haul. That or when I for some reason don't like how the shelves stare back at me...
do you ever consider consolidating boxes or do you want to keep all expansions in their own box? for instance you Unmatched would all fit into 3 boxes instead of 6
@@FostertheMeeple I would have placed the bigger boxes of Unmatched behind the smaller boxes of Unmatched and have Unmatched basically fit into a single Kallax cube. Feels better together and you can still see the bigger boxes behind anyway which is cool.

We just got gifted that one! It’s one we’ve wanted to try for awhile! Thanks for the feedback on it

I just love the game room. Looking forward to the day I have a spare room to do this
Wow! What a collection! 👏🏻 great job Jamie! Thanks for entertaining us while we were waiting for our flight. 😊💕
Safe flight friends!

time for a Tablenauts raid as there is a LOT of culling material to be seen - ripe for a giveaway / charity raffle!
Never gonna happen!
Where do you sit on storing games on their sides v's flat? I prefer flat because i worry about components getting damaged with boxes on their sides
We are pretty much exclusively on their side. It’s easier to access games that we want to pull off the shelf!
We just got done with The Adventures of Robin Hood! It is in our top 10 for sure! Where did yall end up putting the board game table? Love the space!
It’s down in our studio!
I did this a few months ago now... but that was a 100 games ago 🤦♀️ it's due to be done again 😭
Haha funny how that works! Make space for games, buy games for the space - repeat
I can help you with some space. Just throw Windward in the garbage!! There!!! You have more space and don’t have to play that terrible game. You’re welcome!! 😂
We tend to like mostly everything so I’m sure we won’t mind it haha
Honestly--agreed. We have a LOT less games and Windward is one of them and I was just last night asking my son (Whose game it is) If we can get rid of it. …so I did a little rough math… There’s over $10k worth of games. It’s probably closer to $20k Canadian.
Time to retire on our pile of gold!
Haha. But there’s still more new games coming out…🤔
It’s a beautiful collection guys!
For some reason I'm watching this over again and I busted out laughing at "if you guys enjoy watching people trip over board games while trying to put it on shelves..." 2:52
Nice Job, Jamie! Looks amazing. Too bad Mosaics is too fat
It’s a big box that’s for sure!
You might want to start off by using that available outlet for any sort of backlighting you might be thinking of, as it's a pain to have to take things out and set it up once it's full.
Are you sure you didn't lose a couple shelves in the move? Maybe the movers misplaced them? 😇
You know what? That’s definitely it. Let’s ignore that I moved everything myself. Definitely the movers ;)
Do you guys ever get rid of games? I often sell ones I get bored of.
Very very rarely!
You did such a good job! Categorizing board games is a nightmare! Speaking from experience haha
Haha I can imagine you live that nightmare often! But the shop always looks incredible
Did you purposefully pick a top to match the Kallax shelves?? ❤
Can’t tell you our secrets
Wow! That was surprisingly therapeutic to watch - you are very lucky to have a collection like that plus the space for it! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
There’s not enough shelves, Jeff!
WE NEED MORE
Great job, Jamie! That was a huge job, but it all looks fantastic now!
She said thank you!!
An actual Shelf of Shame area is cool idea, love to see it and get updates on it.
Updates you shall receive!

Ohhh I like the grocery store idea!! I think we kind of do that subconscious anyway haha
Love the themed shelves. One day I hope to have a racing game shelf to rival y’all’s
We support your endeavour!
I definitely don’t have as many games but I know the struggle of organizing and the games taking up your entire room floor
Haha the problem is real!
Damn that’s alot of games.. i’m fine with just Root and all the expansions
We do love games!
Love the organization methodology and breakdown. I go through this every time I get a new haul. That or when I for some reason don't like how the shelves stare back at me...
Haha it’s a blessing and a curse
Trains also make me think of winter but it’s definitely because of the Polar Express
Ahh yes!!! That’s totally true
do you ever consider consolidating boxes or do you want to keep all expansions in their own box? for instance you Unmatched would all fit into 3 boxes instead of 6
Depends on the game. Unmatched is one we like having all the boxes for. But we consolidate ones we don’t care to keep boxes for
@@FostertheMeeple I would have placed the bigger boxes of Unmatched behind the smaller boxes of Unmatched and have Unmatched basically fit into a single Kallax cube. Feels better together and you can still see the bigger boxes behind anyway which is cool.
I see dice throne got the recognition it deserves on a top shelf, you just love to see it.
It’s a great game!
The room is really coming together. Good job, Jamie!
Thank you!! She’s done an awesome job for sure
You might want to start putting rectangle boxed games on their sides so you can fit more games on a single shelf.
Or, MORE SHELVES
@@FostertheMeeple that works too :)
Why has this never occurred to me?? :makes beeline to reorg shelves:
My people ❤
This was mesmerizing to watch. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Always enjoy a nice organization video.
I think we will need to do another one in the future once we get all the shelves we need
The lid lift on obsession 😩
Haha it is what it is
I like how you consider "overflow" to be a neatly organized shelf in another room, rather than the dozens of landmines carpeting the floor.
Hahahah that’s a good point. But the landmines were temporary
