My suggestions for Stocking Stuffers/Secret Santa/For the Kids would be: Coloretto, Crossing, Dobble, Exploding Kittens, No Thanks, Point Salad, Railroad Ink Challenge, Regicide, Super Mega Lucky Box & Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza
Fancy decks of cards are great, but if you start to collect, you end up not wanting to play with them. A good looking bicycle deck is great for playing many games with.
I’m starting to think that Jeff is my spirit animal. I frequently have people think that I’m a grump because I cross my arms and have RBF. I can’t help it! It’s just my face! I’m a very happy person inside, I just don’t always outwardly show it.
Highly recommend game art! If you've seen any videos on my channel, I had my own canvas art made and everyone who sees them really likes them. Made jumbo sized tiles for Carcassonne, Lanterns, Karuba, Roll for the Galaxy, Alhambra, and Cacao.
I am so thrilled that y'all mentioned smile! It is such a great introductory game into modern board and card games. I took it with me to Thanksgiving dinner and introduced it to people who were not into board gaming at all and they really enjoyed it! I like a lot of the ideas and maybe I'm just a little bit slower than the average bear. On my list for this Christmas is creature comforts but I was talking to some friends of mine last night and I feel like it's definitely a little more thinking than it looks. Admittedly it is adorable but I don't think I would want to give it to anyone under the age of 10. Just my opinion. I've also only played it once but I absolutely adore it! I also bought ready set bet and played it for the first time last night and everyone had a good time. Hope to see you all at pax unplugged!
Really great list. Love how you have so many non-board game items on your list, which were all super ideas. Reminded me to ask my in-laws for a dice tray!
So many interesting categories I never would have thought about. Thanks for the fun video with ideas way out of the box that my wife would love! You've expanded my brain!
Hi. Thank you for your entertaining (and informative) content. I never miss an episode. And thank you for introducing me to the Oodie. I’m giving them as Christmas gifts to members of my family and was even inspired to write a song to accompany the gift, “Have Yourself an Oodilicious Christmas.” I’m sure it will be a big hit 😂. Thanks again and Happy Holidays.
Someone wanted to confirm they got the right game. They ment to text my wife but texted me. so now I get to be excited to read cloudspire getting ready for christmas.
@@FostertheMeeple I have around 120 decks currently, none are old/second hand. Most are in similar fashion to the mandalorian ones you mentioned (in which I also have)
Well, my husband is getting a long list from me. For younger kids I want to also suggest "Hiss" such a fun color matching game. Its super simple but I use it in my 4-5 year old after school classes. And maybe it's a cultural thing but Cash 'n Guns just... doesn't hit me well as a American in the education system. >.>;
SOOO glad you played OucH! soo good my 6 year old LOVES It! Woodworm ugghhh....to expensive for no reason, you can see that on their web site. They are not about gaming, just wood working with CNC ugghhh
I mean. They make gaming components that are on the higher end. They definitely are about gaming but yea - it’s pricey. The good thing is it’s not required so definitely a luxury item for those that want that option!
@@FostertheMeeple I get what your saying just after watching alot of their youtube channel when they sold game on thier site Doug said " I dont have a clue what any of this game are" not joking. The games in question, Gloomhaven, Codename....He didnt even know how to say Spiel Des Jahres. I don't support them They are here to take gamers money and return poor product. Honestly I am not sure. I know wyrmwood has wooden dice and I’d assume given the costs they’d be balanced. But I’ve never actually used a set of wooden dice
Board Game Merchandise would be great if retailers offered Tall sizes for their shirts otherwise it results in the shirt shrinking too much after one washing or plumbers crack anytime you bend over... no one wants either of those things to happen
We’ve played both, and I don’t think I really agree. I don’t even think they are that similar enough to compare. Definitely feel like both have their place.

Thanks so much for the suggestions!
I have the original Star Wars cards. They are really cool!
Jeff making me want a remix of “Great Balls of Fire” and “Wipeout”. Where the DJs at 😂😂😂
I’m a musical pathfinder
You forgot to mention that Tussie Mussie is from Elizabeth Hargrave, of Wingspan fame.

I can really recommend State of Playing when it comes to boardgame art. Really beautiful stuff.
Haven’t heard of that! Thanks for the reco!
Scout is really good.
Agreed!

I feel you Ryan. I sometimes have to focus not to frown haha
Maybe it is a Fat shark 🦈 🤔 Jeff. I got watercolor art from Clementine from Floriferous.
It could be a fat shark!

oooh I just bought my wife an oodie for Christmas so I was excited to see how cozy y'all look
She’s going to love it! Calling it now

Nailed it.
You know us too well
Thank you for the good vibes you two sprinkle! And for the game suggestions ;)
Thanks so much for the kindness Leonardo!
The Steeped Games dice trays are nice. Got a train themed one at SHUX, perfect for Loose Caboose!
What a great holiday gift guide video. Had me dying in knots a couple times. Much love from across the pond , Newfoundland Canada
NICE!! We need to get over to NFLD, never been - but always wanted to go. Much love from Mahone Bay!

Yay!!! Enjoy those oodies! Happy holidays Diana!
Well, you can tell Jamie edited this video, the "foster the Jeff" was so small lol. Great video thank you
I didn’t know she did it until it was mentioned in discord. What a weasel!
I have had a lot of success with key to the kingdom and dragomino with my 6 year old. I would recommend either of them for a kids gift.
Awesome thanks Dennis!
I backed the deck of cards on the wonderlands war kickstarter because I wanted a fancy set of cards! Good call!
I WISH we had those!
It’s 37 deg celsius here. Don’t think I’ll be needing an oodie anytime soon.
But with an oodie it could be 45 degrees Celsius!
It's good but Jeff looks more holiday season
Jamie couldn’t find her Christmas sweater haha
I want Cascadia! Santa are you listening?
I’ll amplify the ask for you. I know him personally

Thank you!
Had to laugh at the mention of a nice deck of cards. My further exploration into board games started with my deck of card collecting hobby.
Ohhh I love that! Did you have cool decks

Is the solo version of Skulls of Sedlec an expansion you have to buy, or is it included in the base game?
I believe it is an expansion!!
How easy will it be to find well balanced wooden dice? I've never looked into it but it seems like it could be difficult

longshot the dice game is better then Ready set bet. AND WAY CHEAPER and no app
