I have to tell you please please please please keep doing what u r doing! I have literally just started my cpc course and I was sitting here like how the heck do I find the codes to the terms!!! Feeing lost and even down! Saying to myself maybe this isnt for me but I decided not to give up…I came on youtube and looked it up and u posted a video about exactly what I needed to know 9 hrs ago!!! If that isnt a sign to keep going idk what it is!!! Thank u!! U helped me to keep going today! Turned my attitude around from I cnt do this to I CAN and I WILL!!!!!
Oh my gosh, woman. I am studying for my CPC and learning how to find codes. I was in a good place with finding my primary codes until all of a sudden everything got confused in my head. You just took all that complication right out of my brain. Thank you for being so gracious with your knowledge. I’m gonna look at your other videos now, friend. Just what I needed! Nancy.
Thank you very much for your videos. I just found your channel last night 4/23/2023 out of desperation while trying to do homework. I started a 9-month program for medical coding and billing. Today, 4/24, will be my 3rd week in the program. I appreciate that you are working through examples and explaining along the way. Thank you X 1000
I'm so appreciative for these videos. You've explained each code clearly, and how to look them up. Which gives a better understanding in moving forward. Thank you very much, and keep doing what you're doing! You're a great help to many, God bless you!! 👍🙂💯
Your explanations are so clear. Thank you for taking the time to help us out!!! I was getting so confused with looking up terms in the index. So glad I found your channel, if only I would have found it 3 semesters ago! Better late than never. I appreciate your knowledge.
I loved this video ❣ It jogged my mind when I was a referral coordinator having to lookup all the codes. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am retired, really loved my job which I feel forced to have to leave it due to the Covid Vaccination Mandate on healthcare workers and staff. Now its extremely difficult to get work due to my age and the mandate. 😢
I am in awe of you. I am getting ready to take the CPC exam for 2nd time. You straightened me out on that (see condition) thing. I never got that until now. Thank you❤
This is really helpful I am in College right now and I was struggling with Main terms so I am so grateful for this I will keep watching thank you so much
Hi Victoria, I'm a budding medical coder from India, and your channel is a godsend to me. I'm so grateful for all the information you provide. I'm going to watch all your videos before I take my CPC exam. Thank you so much! 💯🫂
For me it’s the way you simplify it. My teacher is too formal. Thank you. I’ll be here for all you have to offer. I came here looking for an easier way to find a code bc I was told the the final allows about 2 minutes per question
Thanks for explaining the key words it is really easy to learn because you make it easy to understand. I think tingling must be called Paresthesia after looking up r20.2 in the tabular. Then it seems like it can b3 under further words, like disturbance or sensation. 0
😊this video has been so helpful to me I was so confused and finding it difficult to locate terms. But you made it so easy for me. thanks so much God bless you 🥰
Thank you so much...am learning so much with your videos...am new to coding so am still unclear when to use the icd-10-cm book and when to use the cpt book.
This is such a big help. Thank you ma’am. I’m taking my classes online and my teacher isn’t much help. Only thing I need to know now is what book you use?
I've learned so much from your videos. Could you tell me about a center for excellence model? My ins says if I use one of their centers of excellence, I won't pay out of pocket for surgery. And since there isn't one in my state the reimburse for flights & give per diem for meals, lodging, & transportation. How can this benefit the ins company? How does this work? Maybe teaching hospitals? Any insights & understandings on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Victoria, I love your channel, and thank you so much for all the information you provide. May I ask you for some information? Are there such things as interns for our field that we can set up on our own? I would like to be an oncology coder. I know I just started in Preppy but put myself out there to get more experience and add it to my resume.
Hi Victoria. Thanks a lot for the awesome videos. Leart a lot from you. Whenever you get time, can you please make a short video explaining the difference between ICD-10 PCS and the CPT codes.
So, I graduated in 2019 but, I did not pass the certification test. Would I need to pass the test to get a job in that field? I haven't done anything with billing or coding since I graduated. Also would it be best to go back to school for it? Or take some boot camps or something like that? I'm already remembering a lot just by watching your videos.
Hi Victoria thanks for sharing videos these are really helpful. Is there anyway to contact you directly. I am going to take my CPB exam in Dec I need guideline if you can help me
I had to laugh at myself a few days ago while working on example worksheets. It took me way too long to find infarction when looking for a AMI. I looked at everything but infarction and then finally found it. The sad part - I worked in the ER for YEARS as a unit secretary and I KNOW what an infarction is. Put me behind a desk in the ER and I got it - put a textbook in front of me and "I don't got it" 🙂 All I could do was shake my head and tell myself that Dr. Grimm would be so disappointed.
Think between options, process of eliminating the options will narrow down ur answers of which any guidelines, sequencing will bring ur crrct answer in no time. Have firm thought in modifiers s very important as this helps to ruleout the narrow answers in case studies. Best of luck:)
Thank you for your content!! Can you make a video briefly discussing the new ICD-10CM guideline updates for 2023? The biggest change for me is those dementia codes.
I'm really glad you found my video helpful! It's awesome to hear that the breakdown of finding the main term in medical coding was clear. You're absolutely right about providing answers to all the examples - it's a fantastic idea for making sure everyone is on the same page. While I've covered the method in detail in the video, I totally get that having a list of answers could be super useful as a quick reference. I'll definitely consider this for a future video or a follow-up post. Thanks for the suggestion, and keep rocking your coding journey!
Thank you. I’ve been coding for a few years and due to some life issues. I begin to have issues with coding. As if my mind went through trauma. I’m starting over from scratch. Relearning ❤

Thank you so much for posting this videos. I just started class and I'm so confused on how to locate the main term to look up.

I’m a coder in Canada. In the US, do you not have an infobase for ICD-10?
Never heard of Infobase.
