Not a lowrider guy, but this guy is quite inspirational. Not only is it impressive that he started his own shop at 21 but also love his mentality of learning to do everything himself just because he doesn't trust putting his name on someone else's work.
Not one for the lowrider scene, or much for the entire american car scene for that matter. But I really admire his work and the time, skill, and love he puts into it. Max respect for that guy! Self taught and not hot headed!
I got to ride in Laila with Luis one time through downtown, honestly one of the coolest experiences of my life especially considering very few people get to ride in that car
Chris, if you want to see more lowriders you should go to the Torres Empire Show in LA this Saturday. Currently it's bigger than the Vegas Super Show and it has the biggest line up for the hop.
Always lowrider haters out there. Can't just say that they actually look nice and appreciate the work an money they put in it. Way better than a stupid Honda though that's for damn sure haha. Muscle cars, and lowriders all day.
It's like apple and oranges. Air uses compressed air to fill air bags to lift a vehicle. Hydraulics use hydraulic pumps to send pressurized oil to cylinders to lift the car. Air bags are generally slower but are a more comfortable ride. Hydraulics are more of a rough ride but more faster to lift. The hydraulics run off multiple car batteries and the air compressor for air ride can generally run off the vehicles electric system. That's the basic run down.
I wonder how people get this in a car, do they simply go to a ''store'' and tell them to do it for them and pay for it or you need to pay in order to get licenced to use hydraulics? I ask this because im from europe and from what ive heard this is illegal here at least it is in my country (Portugal) and i always wanted something like this but it will be impossible here.
+ItzRASTAVIBEonPC you could pay for a shop to install the hydraulics or buy the parts at a shop or online, and install them your self you also don't need a license to use hydraulics. You could buy the parts online and have someone install them for you or buy a lowrider from the USA and ship it to Portugal
I'm from az Louis burns people I feel. he take to long to finish your car your lucky you get it be for you die the 60 hopping is big e car e.l auto customer ask around .Louis didn't do that car.
that pink caprice is for sale on Craigslist list for 8,000. that sucks all that money poeple put in them cars and won't get half of what u put in to them.
Think he just got done showing them how he does the upholstery scene. You need razor blades when upholstering cars to make detailed cuts to the materials. Or he was ready to cut the host. Lol.
I truly enjoy this series of videos, Forsberg is a great catalyst. However not sure who did the editing on this video but seems a bit sloppy with transitions and a rough jump start beginning. I don't often see that from the videos I see on this channel. Just my opinion though.
I bought a car from Luis Miranda and when I got it home I had the oil changed only to find out it had a bad engine. My mechanic told me it's a dirty mechanics secret to put extra thick engine oil in a car to hide engine noise. I called Luis and he said he knew nothing about it. I've read Luis bio and he is referred to as a master mechanic so Make your own conclusions but I would never buy a car or have him touch a car I own!
How Sad!!!! 1 of his opening statements was "The customer chose's his car brings it to us and we hook it up" What ever happen to Blood Sweat and Tear's??? Build your own lowrider your style???? Key word "YOUR's" Never the less these Vato's do some nice work!!! No Disrespect to the lowrider culture by all means!!!!!
Stylez805 Watcha Homie I was not disrespecting the Lowrider community I was speaking on and agreeing with what the owner Luis was saying "He is the first generation and self taught!" It's a love thing ese don't get it twisted!
It's nice to see Luis Miranda getting props. He helped me finish up one of my cars and delivered on everything he promised. Stand up guy and builder.
I love the lowrider community. The amount of work and passion they put into their cars is unmatched.
Not a lowrider guy, but this guy is quite inspirational. Not only is it impressive that he started his own shop at 21 but also love his mentality of learning to do everything himself just because he doesn't trust putting his name on someone else's work.
I absolutely LOVE looking at a nicely done low rider. Respect.
Not one for the lowrider scene, or much for the entire american car scene for that matter. But I really admire his work and the time, skill, and love he puts into it. Max respect for that guy! Self taught and not hot headed!

whats the difference between hydraulic and air ride?
It's like apple and oranges. Air uses compressed air to fill air bags to lift a vehicle. Hydraulics use hydraulic pumps to send pressurized oil to cylinders to lift the car. Air bags are generally slower but are a more comfortable ride. Hydraulics are more of a rough ride but more faster to lift.
