Spider-Man can go toe to toe with Juggs and Hulk with raw strength base form, but TOAA had to come down and show Spider-Man all the good he’s done for people in order to stop him from being Uber depressed. Spider-Man isn’t strong enough to scare TOAA, as he’s literal god. You’re right about him pulling his punches though.

wow FINALLY marvel brings out interesting fights venom vs the thing wow, but clarifying a few things this story happens in the past here the thing is NOT AS STRONG AS NOW like aver knocked out hulk give gladiator a better fight and equal the current she hulk and that that she hulk is currently strong, but because of that medoy tells me venom has fought with the guys with the toughest skin in the world the thing, colossus and luke cage, with colossus venom was able to subdue him and luke cage said that he had to use all his strength to barely be able to take Venom flying even though the fight was left unfinished (yes, I know that on another occasion Luke was knocked out but that was NOT Eddy Brock, it was Mac Gargan who did not control the environment well and was a weaker carrier, even Peter and another variant of the spiderverse varrio the floor with gargan with the symbiote) mmmmn I hope we get another fight of luke cage vs venom because it would seriously be interesting,
Who are you kidding? Luke, Colossus and Namor sllappedd the shyieet out of Venom. And Luke did it multiple times.

Pretty much all the fight venom(eddie) has had with colossus and Luke, venom has won those fights.

So would I be correct in saying Venom is physically superior to Peter?
Always has been. Peter's no slouch either, though, he has feats in the 50+ ton range when under stress. Peter's also flat out beaten (no cheats, no tricks) Fortunato and Gargan Venom in a fight. There was a time in the late 90's/early 00's when Peter's fights with Eddie were fairly "even", too (with an edge to Eddie, obviously). Peter's also exchanged blows with Flash Venom, with their fight decimating an entire street block.
Venom is stronger and more durable than Peter, and immune to his spider-sense, those are the main advantages. It gets trickier to evaluate who's faster per say, though, as I don't recall a modern instance where Venom has been portrayed as noticeable superior purely speed-wise. Peter's also traditionally been portrayed as more nimble and agile than Venom.
So, to answer your question: generally YES. But Venom is not "an upgraded Spider-Man". Also, Kaine (Peter's clone/brother) can beat Venom in a fight and is roughly a match strength-wise. Symbiotes detest the 'Mark of Kaine'.

@@michaelgarcia5680 They have never been equals. The advantages the symbiote provides are too numerous.
Generally venom(eddie) could have killed spiderman anytime if they really wanted to. But simply killing him wasn't the goal, as venom once put it "it would have been too easy, and if we just killed you that would make you a martyr".
I'd say so ! At least that's how I've always viewed him my friend.
