What most writers get wrong about Taskmaster is that he's not a mere copy cat, he's a collection of fighting skills and physical capability. He's basically a walking fighting computer. On Marvel he's the second best fighter after Mr. X.

@@Cannabeknown Yeah they're making TM look like a small villain here. Moon Knight and Deadpool writers did him TM even dirtier. Did you know that Marvel in their hierarchy classed TM as level 5 while Captain America, Deadpool and Moon Knight were classed as level 4? Im okay with the villain losing that's part of the plot and comic storytelling, but to get beaten without it making any sense is where it annoys me. This one for instance has TM whooping Cap at the beginning but then out of nowhere without using any form of extra help, Cap just busts a few moves(that TM could've evased and detected) and beats him like a common thhug. Wouldn't be the first time Cap has beaten superior characters though, he's beaten Molecule Man(classed as level 8), Hulk and Enchantress(both level 7), Kang and Namor(both level 6), Iron Man, Rhino and Mr. Hyde(all level 5).

People need to know Cap's full potential. Between Cap's work ethic, tenacity, speed, endurance, and a brain heightened to maximum human recall -- he can master any martial art in the most efficient time frame. Rogers brain can adjust to anyone's fighting style, and eventually have them figured out. That makes him the best fighter in Marvel or DC. He can potentially "master" and mimic better than Taskmaster can, and often does.
He’s so underrated compared to Batman. I would honestly say their IQ and Battle IQ is really close due to how fast Steve can process things. I’d pick Cap to beat him all day.
@@bengie2015 In one of the Marvel vs DC Crossovers, even Batman noted that he would possibly lose to Captain America. It would take a while, but Cap would win.

Cap is literally an enhanced human. Batman, even as a peak normal human, doesn't have a low key healing factor to make fatigue not be an issue. Fatigue is the fight killer. The greatest boxers in the world have time limited rounds split by short breaks because of fatigue

Cao is my favorite hero, and Taskmaster is my favorite Marvel villian (2nd overall after Owlman) But I really think this fight did Taskmaster a disservice, He has literally forgotten more moves than Cap has ever known (resulting in memory loss) Yes Cap has the super soldier serum, yes Cap would have won...but it shouldn't have been this easy

I enjoy every time a writer doesn't pander to Taskmaster. Many of his fights should be losses, even huge losses, regardless of copying fighting styles.....yet writers having him clowning Venom, spiderman(who can move faster than people think(according to DD). and much more.

Which Daredevil would win, Marvels DD or the orginal Daredevil in the green and red costume from the 1950s.
Or things like Could Batman beat the Red Circles/Archie comics The Fox who is their universe greatest martial artist., we need to see a revival of these mostly forgotten but great comic characters , we dont need to see things about crossing graphic novel cartoon styles like japanese anime characters/ video game characters .

It's a bit funny how in your poll Cap America vs Yujiro Hanma they completely forget that it's pure martial arts and that they would be balanced with the exact same physical stats, so that removes what makes Hanma Hanma, his strength and durability. Like Hanma Cap is also a master of every martial art known to man so this is going to come down to experience and who makes the first mistake.

First of all Rogers abilities are not his own but the result of a super serum
Hanma is 100% pure skill training and grindset of his own merit
Secondly cap was shown going down multiple times
Hanma was never defeated
In terms of fighting skills Hanma knows a practice a lot of maritial arts
Being able to instantly copycat even extremely difficult techniques from supreme masters of a certain style
Also rogers is a softy
Hanma is a monster
The only time he was shown to go easy and toy with an opponent was with is his own son and even that was brutal as hell
In a fight he will go for the kill

In the end there could be no definitive answer
Cap is doped by a super serum that gives him superhuman abilities
Hanma has superhuman abilities but quantifies them against cap is not so straightforward

Cap is only superhuman in the MCU. In the original comics the serum enhanced all his physical attributes to the peak of HUMAN efficiency. Its always been pointed out that Cap is not a metahuman. Derivatives of the serum have created metahumans but all those derivatives have been flawed. FYI Nick Fury of 616 IS a metahuman after having his aging massively slowed in WW2 by the Infinity Formula.

And the serum did have him superpowers
His powers tend to be on a low scale compared to what people like magneto can do
And he his not as proficient and powerful in specific areas as people like Spider-Man

@@tripleh327 Ive been reading since the the early 80's. The official Handbook of The Marvel Universe listed him as a non metahuman. The Official RPG from the time, which i still own, lists him as a non metahuman and all his physical attributes are classed as the highest a non metahuman can achieve. He is not a metahuman.

I will always be a Cap fanboy but you know this story was trash. The only way cap won against Taskmaster was due to the writers needing to hype up his “uh oh Steve is a bad man now”. In no way should he have beaten TM, much less Yujiro who has literally learned/mastered ever martial art he has seen.
But didn’t cap beat us agent who’s serum is 10x that of caps and was recently trained by taskmaster and still lost .
Same thing with cache who was programmed with every martial art known to man .
Or was able to adapt and counter to black panthers fighting style in contest of champions.
