@Jade Guadalupe Ruiz González 008 good tip. I actually started doing that a couple of weeks ago and it really helped. The hard part for me has been making my fingers do what my brain wants them to do.

I’ve only just got my kalimba 4 days ago, and already I’ve learned half of this song. This is coming from very little instrumental experience, and this is very helpful! Seeing the notes on the kalimba keys is very helpful. Numbers just gets confusing sometimes.
Nice! As an adult, I've recently started taking piano classes because it's something I always wanted to do. It's been a few years since my last piano class now, but the basic notes and fundamentals I learned to help me pick up patterns on the kalimba I've noticed. But, it's nice that there's so many ways to read the kalimba and it's notes

I learned this one the first day my Kalimba arrived :3 Never would I have thought that I would learn it so fast!
Whenever i hear this song its so peacful its always on my play list and when i found out there is a kalimba song i knew i could play it whenever i feeel sad or bored it always gives me a feeling that is unknown...
i am learning this song at the moment and for anyone else who is learning, i would recommend slowing the video down and playing along with it

Playing this song made me tear up a bit. Especially because while practicing I start to notice much more dramatically how the tune of the song changes overtime... the notes toward the end sound sadder and the way they go high just before the song ends feels like it symbolizes death

I know this is a little late but if your new to kalimba you can try slowing down the playback speed it really helps !

Did you try to tune it?
You can't unless you tune your kalimba to have sharps/flats (which you probably don't want to do because then you wont have enough of the natural notes if you have a 17 key kalimba)

also ive never commented on your videos before but i wanted to say thankyou y kalimba ive been playing the kalimba for 2 years now and from the very first day i got it ive been practicing using your canon in d video
im still not terribly good at the kalimba and even still struggle with some of your songs marked easy (curse you merry go round of life) but when ever i sit down and play along to your videos i cant help but be happy so thankyou for all the happiness over the past 2 years

I just got a Kalimba for christmas today and it's electronic but can also play normal so i'm gonna practice non-stop until i get this song right so i can play it for my brother! I just wonder is it easy to play because im planing to buy one its like a small piano rigth
It's kind of difficult to get used to because the key things are so small but once u play a little it's natural. I'd recommend it
Well it is called a small piano for a nickname but it’s really called kalimba I have one and you have to have nails to play it if you play it with your skin it will hurt a bit and it’s not easy to remember the notes to play it
