The lawsuit between TFUE and FaZe Clan has been in the news for over a month at this point, with people vocally supporting one side or the other. Many things have been said, many people have shared their opinions, but throughout it all, I feel like the majority of people have missed the point of how this conflict came to be. Turner Tenney aka TFUE, ex-member of the largest eSports organization right now, FaZe Clan, considered to be the best Fortnite player in the world, has signed a contract (gamer agreement) binding him for 3 years to staying in the team. Is his decision to sue justified? Having the context of what FaZe Banks did for him and how close the two of them were prior to the eruption of this drama, it's unclear as to why Turner took such a harsh approach to parting ways with the clan. In this video we take a look at all of it.

Bad analogy, but I totally agree with Andre that tfue used faze clan but now that he is bigger than it and doesn’t need it anymore he is just turning it into drama to get attention. Faze clan didn’t even take all the money they were entitled to and were offering more of a profit but tfue just made it into drama because it wasn’t enough for him.
Faze clan offers Tfue lots of money to join again. Tfue: says no. Me: I’D DO IT FOR FREE.

I think that this is Tfue's fault for signing the contract, but the Faze Clan also went a little bit to far with the 80% deal thing. So it's 50/50, Faze and Tfue was stupid.
But they overall took only 60k from him and even gave him a chance at a second contract where they take nothing from him he just has to stay on the team

The one thing about that contract that is certainly horrible is the 2k USD a month. That's a full time job where your hourly wage is 11.54 USD an hour. Obviously, Tfue made a lot more due to subscriptions and other brand deals. But still, that monthly wage as part of the contract is terrible.

I feel like Tfue is in the wrong here. He was the one who signed the contract, and probably should have taken the version 2 if he wanted change. Basically what he wants is in the contract. I think he just wants out of the company who brought him success and claim said success as his own, using that to this advantage in making his own gaming company. If he wanted out, he should just wait out the 3 year period and leave to create his own company when the contract ends.

This is just my personal opinion but TFUE only gathered popularity because of the clan and they provided him with good equipment. I would like to have that kind of contract but of course I would have to read the contract first before I sign it. So the guy should just to fill the agreement that he signed then from there he can move onto his own thing.
3 years is nothing compared to how long it would take him to do it on his own.

Had he wanted to stay, he has had many chances to take the new contract. So it's something about the contract isn't legal, cause FaZe isn't registrered correctly or something complicated like that.

I think Tfue stepped out of line big time with this. The opportunity he was given, the growth he experienced and the unconditional support he got from faze are things you can’t just throw away. The way it looks to me is that he was a nobody but then got boosted when he joined faze, once he got big enough he just wanted to branch out and do his own thing because faze wasn’t worthy of a big shot like him anymore. It’s just fucked up. Plus some of the things that the lawsuit alleged have been proven to be completely false and some things he has done like with ninja and his wife, you just can’t do that so I’m having a hard time supporting Tfue here.
You could argue that the contract indeed was a bit unfair but I mean honestly people are starving out there in the world and you’re getting mad because you don’t make so much money when you’re already making millions? If you have that mentality you honestly don’t even deserve to have a platform.
