I stayed in this quiet, lovely town 15 years ago. I believe it was the Hannah McGuire House. On top of a small hill overlooking the sea....there was a huge rock formation jutting up out of the sea. Miss Hanna was a delight and made you feel like family. Funny enough, I was back home in the States and chatting with a woman whose great aunt owned a B and B in Ireland...I asked her where and she said.... "a tiny town, I'm sure you've never heard of it".......turned out it was Hanna McGuire House......it's a small world!
Enjoyed this video. It's good to see these places again. They are very familiar to me. I went to Glencolumbcille every summer between 1998 and 2002. I even wrote a song about it called "Glencolumbcille Song" which is on UA-cam. I used to do courses at Oideas Gael. I also used to like going to Teach Biddy, Roarty's Bar and Glen Head tavern.
I'm originally from Glen it was so odd to see the journey from Cashel to well the beach cause I could not tell you the mount of times I walked or rode my bike there as I lived just past the folk museum

absolutely gutted the glenbay hotel is closed down n let to rot
A rather disjointed film going back and forth erratically and dreadful sound. Lived there for years and you do not do it justice. Disappointing
