I remember sitting in a local pizza shop when Russell was delivering pizza and he was hilarious then. All of us had to grow up but we have the memories that takes us back with a smile. Thank you for the laughs Mr Blackman I think Dickie Knee would say. Thank you for all those memories. 🙏☮️

Im 66. Grew up with Hey Hey like millions of other Ozzie's. Great times, great memories. That skit with Russel had me laughing out loud. Something TV these days cant do. The Comedy Company...........Fast Forward....D Generation.etc. the good old days. RIP Mr Blackman.

RIP John Blackman and as for funny man Russell Gilbert 2015 suffered a stroke during surgery to treat a brain aneurysm. Since then he has mostly receded from public life. One of my favourite Australian comics

I remember the Darryl and Ozzy show which was on about 4pm weekdays, I was 10 years old i think, Im 61 now, i drew a picture of a Luger pistol, i copied a real one that was on the kitchen table, i sent it in to Darryl and Ozzy and won a Barrel of Monkeys and a rolling stones record. I bet these days if a 10 year old did that they would send child services around to your house instead of a man with prizes.

Do miss this show, when we had something decent to watch on tv. Sadly there is mostly crap on tv now.
Those dogs are adorable, and should not have to put up with that dunce, as much as it was funny .
Unfortunately, it wouldn’t even get near today’s censors, and the kids have lost all sense of purpose. Fun in the days when it was expected, and clean.
Somebody should train Russell Gilbert to speak. He is in no way entertaining?
