Very impressive. Also helps understanding technology in electric cars too. But as you know, mind the high DC currents, safety first. Get the safety equipment too. 👍
I am not sure about the heat in summer. For now I am looking to put a very small heater in there to keep the battery warm. The door is not very tight and lets a good bit of air flow.
@@LandtoHouse I suspect in high Summer defo. But in Winter I think they will keep themselves warm, but a heater set to say 38 degF would be a good idea, just in case. 👍🥶
This system has been up and running now for approximately two months. I've had zero issues whatsoever. I did have to pull the case off and remove the bond screw for the neutral and ground in order to connect it to my earthground.

Thanks for the info on the Orient power unit. When the Orient Power inverter is turned on is there any flicker on your LED lights in your house??
Great system. Can you combine two of these batteries together and one single inverter?
If using any washers, use copper/brass ones. Yes?
These washers were included with the unit. I am not sure what material they are.

Nickel coated brass I suspect, but no doubt the material of them might be 'chinese suspect'...

This unit is working well. Nice to have this power in the new building.

👍 But high maintenance I suspect, with everything - Fall leaves on the solar panels and all that tree stuff. 😁😁😁👍
Looks good, also looks very expensive.
Do you need a fan to outside on your closet, plus an inlet vent low down, to keep heat build up down?

@@LandtoHouse Will your planned mini-split A/C would provide enough cooling in that shop?
So do the fans run nonstop?
What's the standby consumption?
The data sheet shows less than 70w. Seems like over an 8 hour period the unit uses 250w. That would put this around 31w on my end.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THIS SYSTEM AND HAS IT BEEN RELIABLE THANKS

Thank you
That IS heavy! 😯😳
Yes right at 100 pounds.
@@LandtoHouse
Blimey! I would have been getting my block and tackle out for that, and my sky hooks! 100 lbs! 😳
