Wow. No negative reaction. Where are we?
And just to let you know,And indeed,You are right, precise and correct with your comments when you've said that Chilliwack's professional rock and roll band founder/co --- founder and lead vocalist Bill Henderson is a great song writer, great singer and great musician including he is also a great guy as well as he is a famous, legendary and known live concert performer together with his band called Chilliwack that " sky rocketed to fame " most specially during the 1970's decade and even at this present age and time and in future/futures to come,@donbouchat!!!

Canadian Rock and Roll at its finest, lead guitar man!
They are playing a Free concert at Peterborough MusicFest in July
What a great, f**kin’ song. These old folks can still bring it!!! Awesome performance.
I'm from the U.S. and even thought the song wasn't a hit here, it is one of my all time favorite songs. I might have heard it on CKLW or a college radio station back in the day. . I got the album and the single in the Summer of 1977. And to see an absolutely flawless, note for note 2019 rendition of it..., it just blew me away. Thank you
I think it got play in mid west.. me a 61 yo guy from central Wisconsin
Proud to be a Canadian !!! The most underrated band of all times!!
That title goes to Triumph
April Wine
In my top 10 Canadian songs. This is a great version.
about 1970 Chilliwack opened for l think Quicksilver...at the PNE Gardens We would NOT let them leave the stage....after 4 encores the other band came on....first thing they did was say "We will NEVER let THAT BAND open for us ever again" and then they bombed...lol...
@@rorymunroe3771bummer, too bad you couldn't of seen two great bands in one night
Still the best Chilliwack song ever written ! What a superb performance as well !
How can you say that? THERE WERE SO MANY "BEST SONGS"!!!!!!!!
Is a great one no doubt, but loved their first big hit-& still do-Lonesome Mary also.
He's still got it after all these years, outstanding in his field, star gazing
Stellar. This has got to be the best recording of this song available anywhere.
Bar none... by far the greatest.
I wish they would sell it somewhere.
I totally agree! I play this song most days and sometimes over and over. I can't believe how great this guy sounds and plays at his age. My heart throb!!
Classic Canadian gold! Impressive solo and vocal work! Great performance.
Man, yeah- played the "My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)" b/c I got a yen for the song and then this came up after- I didn't know my phone could sound this good. Must be magic.
AMAZING version of one of the best rock songs ever written !!! BRAVO
I remember this song, I loved it. I was stationed in England with the USAF (7th SOS, RAF Alconbury 1991) and had to come back to the United States on leave to get the CD. I loved this song so much I actually set my leave so I could look for this song.
I'm 65 still alive been jamming this song since 78 So Cal boy in Alaska in the Army you can line up 100 people no one would recognize Chilliwack rock on Bill thank you for this timeless song...
WOW! That was a fantastic performance! The more and more I listen to this, the more and more I'm thinking it's even better than the original version.
The instruments... the harmonies... the steel guitar... the acoustics... the notes... the everything... so, damn, beautiful and awesome... THANK YOU!!! The chills of memories... from the other side...
Simply a crippling performance … the guitar solo was letter perfect … and Taylor’s acoustic work … coupled with stunning vocals …. I’m just thrilled …. Will play many times over … and over
What a smoker 😊😊😊
Hello Hollywood? This exact version of the song should be part of a future movie soundtrack.
Exactly. Well said.
This has to be the best rendition of Fly at Night I've ever heard - and I've heard many of them, even live. I listen to this 1-2 times each wk. Never gets old.
You forgot to mention the amazing drumming. Bro looks like everyone's uncle Bob. But boy can he get cookin'. Well done!
Crippling? That's not the best way to describe it.
Bill is 75. West coast living!. He looks Ontario 55.
wow
Dumb comment.
lmao
@@guitarz99 Better looking than I am, but I'm not bad. About forty times more talented than I am. I'm an instant fan of this band.
@@dabadguy7882???❤
I saw them play last week at the Regent Theater in Oshawa Ont. They rocked and it was an amazing show. Fly at Night was the encore and it brought the house down!! After finding this version here, I have to say this is by far the greatest version ever!! I can't get enough playing it. Unbelievable!!!!
Perfection! A Canadian masterpiece.
Top one of my go to albums to kick back and look out the cockpit windows in quiet times....just makes me smile...The whole Dreams album was stelar. Retired now....still smiling....thank you Bill....thank you.
Taylor sounds like she was part of the original band! Wow amazing
wow.. that girl made this song better! great performance! Beautiful voices!
Really is a gem
This song put the chills into chilliwack. At least it put the chills on me in those perfectly sung and played notes. ❤
This is fantastic and so heartening to see some fellow old-timers still delivering the goods, full speed ahead. So many legacy bands have to slow it down.
Bill Henderson backed up myself and my buddy, Terry Robotham, for a CBC audition back in 1966, Bill then with the Classics Five. I've followed his career ever since. He pretty much hasn't aged. I've heard Chilliwack play this song many times but this is a killer version.
Never heard of the Classics Five. Here in Jacksonville, Fl we had the Classics IV.
Will never get tired of this song.
That sounded so awesome, he’s still really got it. I think Chilliwack is underrated in the classic rock category, one of the best songs ever written. Timeless.
I recently remembered hearing this song on the radio as a kid growing up in Southern California, and I found this video. So glad I did! Great song, great performance, and a great inspiration. Can't keep myself from watching it again and again. Thanks so much for posting this beautiful song and performance!
This is produced so well. The sound quality is second to none.
Good grief how perfect this version is. Can't stop watching this.
Truly one of the greatest rock songs of all time, it encompasses many genres in one composition.
WOW!...SPECTACULAR JOB EVERYONE!! That version was as good as the original...loved it! Vancouver, B.C. fan here...born and raised 53yrs in the Lower Mainland...love the West Coast!
I grew up Listening to Chilliwack and loved this song. Today after 40 years i can put the voice with the face.
I have seen Bill play this song at least a dozen times, but this is Epic. Canadian Superstar.
I thought my headphones were crappy until I listened to this gem.
The sound engineer did an outstanding piece of work.
Outstanding high energy performance by Bill, Taylor James & her band ... The 2 of them singing in unison can rip your Soul from your chest .. The subtle, but effective harmonics in Bill's lead solo are spot on , precise.... Not to mention she's drop dead gorgeous ... Bravo
this band and Bill killed it. love this song.
Wow! An amazing performance by all. Thank you. Mr. Henderson still has the singing and playing chops.
Seriously. This is absolutely incredible. Thank you for this amazing performance of your classic 70s rock anthem. Time has stood still here.
From 1977 `til now, one of my favorite driving to the beach songs, ever!
Amazing! I grew up listening to Chilliwack and this is one of the best renditions of the song ever.
SUCH a great version! This brings back so many memories and a tear to my eye. Bill Henderson sounds and looks great! Rock on, brother!
I love Canadian music. I can't say what makes it so "Canadian" but I think it might be that it's got heart.
Tell you what, this is the Chilliwack concert I never saw back in the 80's. The sound is incredible, and Bill's vocal sounds like he's 25 again. Just fantastic!
My kids love this song, too. He did not even start singing, and already I L-O-V-E it. Wow! Bill sounds as good in 2019 as he did on day One! Even the guitar chords sound like the original! One of Canada's musical legends. Got most of their LP's.
Opened for Chilliwack in Williams Lake in the 70's and Bill is still outstanding as ever! They did tune down a semi tone from the original but Bill's voice still carried it!
Awesome job on your part Taylor. I've played that intro more times than I can count LOL it's a tricky one. Bill did a great job, same with the band. I thought your vocal solo spots gave an extra dimension to the performance. Best I've heard that song played in ages. Seriously ️ ❤️
Taylor has a great rock voice in the range of Sass Jordan
This could be the greatest thing on the entire internet. SO awesome!
Who are these two people that gave this a thumbs down 👎🏿 ?’!? One of the greatest classic rock songs of all time performed very, very well!!
Taylor James should and must have a National 🇨🇦 television show. She and her band never fail to impress along with her famous musical guests (Bill Henderson/and others who appear on her show). Thank you to all for this! Much appreciated!
Wow! Absolutely loved that performance. This is always been one of my favourite songs and to see it performed like this was special.
I could listen to this a million times and never get tired of hearing it! Most excellent EH!
I watch this video at least once or twice a week. This is such an excellent version of the song. I remember seeing Chilliwack touring Canada (Saskatchewan) back in the 1970's and early 1980's. Good times.
The steel guitar really adds something to this track, excellent version
OMG their fucking amazing! They still got it. God bless you all and Rock ON!!!!!! Bravissimi!! Taylor is awesome too!! This one of the BEST live performances I've ever witnessed. Simply not enough words to compliment.
Wow Taylor! Such an impressive performance by Bill, you and the stellar group of talented musicians and friends! Playing the acoustic intro to the track is not an easy task and you pulled it off flawlessly. The same held true for yours and Bill's unison vocals. Great stuff! And - kudos to the video and sound crew as well. Fabulous job!
Amen :-)
Excellent. Bill, you are still in fine form!
What a Great Song, a Classic and a Great Performance by Bill, Taylor and the Band... doesn't get much better!
This is a five star performance and, at best, I only give out four stars!
The most underrated band in the world. I love these guys - Bill Henderson.
I agree. This has to be the best recording of this song in its 45 years!
How in the world does this not have 1M views? So many are being deprived !
Killer gig super tight.. keep on rockin
I love this man! I watch this multiple times, still come back to it and I still get the goose bumps! I can't help to think how absolutely proud Brian MacLeod would be if he saw this performance and how this tune has withstood the test of time in this profound way. Bravo!
He'd be very very proud!
Christ that was good. Wow. Proud Canadian here....
One of my most favorite memories was seeing these guys! It was Canada Day, Brantford. A hot summer night and the vibes were high. I remember two native girls got up and started dancing, it was the coolest thing to watch! Our quiet city woke up that night, even down town. No one wanted the night to end. Taylor you rocked it! Thanks for the memories Chilliwack
What a great version of this song. And live too. Maybe my all time favorite song. Brings back memories.
You complement each other so beautifully😍👍🏽!
I was a kid in the 1970's and this was one of my favourite songs. I used to try and record it off the radio (CKLG or CFUN) on the cassette player I signed out of the elementary school library. They were a great band. When I was learning to play guitar, this was one of the first songs I tried to learn (gave up on the solo). This version actually gave me shivers. Excellent. It must have been amazing for the band to play it so well. His vocals here are really great and so are his guitar chops.
Agree Bill still sounds great and can still bend them guitar strings 🇨🇦🎸
I still get chills from that intro.
Thankful to come across this wonderful performance of this joyful, amazing song that has been a lifetime favorite.
Seriously...I watch this every day. Simply amazing!
How is it you have so few followers? Amazing music and video is 5 star. People share these videos.!
Just now did - on two Canadian music Facebook groups. Can't keep this a secret!
Gotta be my favourite song. Great version! Thanks!
Just saw them in Edmonton. STILL ROCKIN’!!!
I just watched this like 8 times in a row. 🔥
This is FANTASTIC! 70's vibes! Love it, keep up the good work
I love this song! Greetings from Mexico, you read right! Here in Mexico we love Chilliwack and also I like the job done by Taylor, big hugs from a mexican fan.
Saw Chilliwack play at a bar about 7 0r 8 years ago. Stood about 5 ft away from Bill as they played Fly at Night. It was Awesome.
Never heard much Chilliwack but Bill freakin' rocks! Great performance everyone. Cheers!
Every time I watch this, it just blows me away. The best version of this song ever. Absolutely superb. Taylor, Bill: time to release this song again. It doesn't get any better than this. This is how you do it, kids!
Bloody fanfreakingtastic Bill. Really the whole damn band was firing on all cylinders. Bloody amazing. It's my feel good song pretty much since it was released.
Your voices go very good together!
An American from Appalachia here, I heard this song on the radio when I was young, on a starry summer night sleeping in the bed of a pickup truck,
and I never forgot it.
I'm a devout atheist but performances like this raise doubts. Thank you ❤
Sounds just as good as when it was recorded. Bill Henderson is the man!
Fantastic! This video should have millions of views!
Saw Chilliwack in concert in Chilliwack, British Columbia a few years back. Awesome show!
God Bless you Bill & Chilliwack ... no one better EVER !!! ... another eternal Canadian icon !!!
Wow, Bill!!!!! YOU SOUND AMAZING!!!!!!! I love Chilliwack, and I had all of their albums!
Beautiful. Forever and always a Chilliwack fan.
Bill Henderson is awesome. How great does a guy have to write and sing to be legendary? Interesting chord changes. Compelling structure. Stellar vocals. Perfect. It feels so great and anthemic and classic. His beautiful side person was fantastic. The band was locked in. That song should have been dropped into Almost Famous, like Tiny Dancer, and made Bill millions. What a band, what a singer, what a writer.
How good is this, true musical Legend! All you young ones take note!
Amazing performance !!! So many artists change and slow after 2 or 3 decades, Henderson on the other hand can STILL belt it out 😄
Sent chills through me seeing and hearing this classic pumped out again!
still killing it after all these years!!!
One of the BEST Rock ballads ever written IMO, sits on my top 10 list right with Stairway to Heaven and Don't stop believin.
Perfect performance 🎉
Live performances rarely equal or exceed the studio recording. This one's an exception, flawless!
Bill Henderson never disappoints!! Saw him with Chilliwack at Blue Mountain Park in Coquitlam in 2007 :)
Oh jeez. I grew just a few blocks from there. Played baseball and soccer there as a kid.
saw Chilliwack when they opened for the Eagles, Aug 5, 1978.
This song sounds like the pure joy of a traveling rock band loving life 🤟😎🎸🥁✈🚀
Beautiful! Beautiful! Bill still has the voice. Chilliwack has always been one of the greatest things that ever came out of Canada. I just love 💕 their music. God bless you, Bill and Chilliwack for so much incredible music.
