The remix ditty is growing on me, though I've always loved the original. The way they display it is more like having fun with awesome chops, as opposed to putting off a serious intimidation with awesome chops.
It appears that way. I assume that they eat very healthy and that the pure physical aspects of drumming at this high caliber will keep you slim. I know from experience because I shed a few pounds when I was in my college drumline due to the heat and high intensity performances. They probably do some running as well to stay in shape to improve their performance.
Jalthealus davis there is still a large difference between the hours of a college marching bands practice and DCI practice, it is 14 hour days for about 90 days straight
Not my corps.I support BD but I'm not one of them. Also, why is a clarinet player scolding a percussion line? You have no idea the kind of hell they put to win first in drums. NO IDEA. Seriously, just blow your damn piece of wood and shutup.
@IWantSky You said in your first comment that it was away from attention that they put on this cocky face. Every battery player I have ever witnessed who was dedicated and was giving it their all puts on this "cocky face" otherwise known as the professionally aggressive face :) Go for it, look up any drumline vid on youtube where they're rehearsing or in the lot not these little appearances that they make here and there. You'll see what I'm talking about.
@IWantSky TBH if I was in BD World and was #1 in DCI I'd be cocky and flaunt that shit. I mean how many people can actually go like "Dude I'm a DCI champion." I'm pretty sure a lot of people would do the same. But you're right, there's the people who are like "Dude I'm on Snare Line at my school so I'm better than everyone else." But hey man, aren't snare lines typically cocky? :)
Dude, 1. this isnt a "marching band" this is dci (but i dont really care you can call it marching band) 2. This drumline is cleaner and better than almost any drumline on earth (with some exceptions) and 3. THIS ISN'T a full marching band so you wouldn't know either.
"Don't play too loud."
*proceed to play fff. Lol
crystal clear audio
warlord
😂
And video
Yep, I miss flip phones
“Don’t play too loud”
*sounds bass boosted*
this is really cool to treat the people that have came out early to hear the lines warm up. props to bd.
i love how even when they spread out theyre friggin' clean!
Sounded awesome, but frenetic camera work makes me want to punch a hole in the wall. After my seizure passes.
Chris Allen 😂👌😂

That's why it costs 2,500-5000 dollars to get in, it's gear and food for the whole season
00:40 ATTACK OF THE DRUMLINE

Death Grips sampled this! The song’s called Hacker
The guy on the left of the guy who tapped off is Roberto Paz. 10 years later he's still going strong. Yall should check him out.
They tell them to play it quiet because when they over hype it, it sounds like shit.
cool you guys rock
The camera exploded from the last note
BD seems so chill. I'd like to meet some of their players, and learn some tips from them.
That hi mom was kinda clean but you didn’t need me to say it you knew it
Wow I was really looking forward to that last note. What a letdown. lol

@Starcraftgod95203 Yea it's more exciting and flows better, although i am glad they made a remix
@invatorme I think they said remix because it has the most to do with the title.. it was just mumbled a little bit.
We got Scott Johnson to go to our high school for a clinic; he forgot his own cadence. Thought it was funny.
