I have created a new type of instrument , easy to play and with a nice warm buzz in the sound. Based on different types of instruments from different cultures this one has a 'Sufi' character :)

thank goodness for people like you keeping crafts like this alive... and taking it even further. Awesome
My pleasure - one big endless playground! :-)
This has an absolutely haunting sound that seems amazing for setting atmosphere.
This sounds ASTOUNDINGLY GOOD, wow
I´m impressed, love these low vibrating tunes really much, got goosespots on my skin. Very well crafted by a talented artist. :D
Thanks :-)
Winne G! That Key Of F Rumi sounds evil bro love it
Amazing Winnie, don’t ever stop what you do. 🎶🏴🇬🇧
thanks! - oh no, I couldn't :))
Thank you for the hard effort. Your gifts are full of medicine for the wounded human heart. May the softness and beauty rise again in our daily lives. Blessings.
Thank you and my pleasure! I am working on new concent. If you want you can help me by support new video making here! www.patreon.com/mesmerizingsounds Feel free! cheers
Thank you for focusing on having at least 2 octaves. I have a solid wind instrument background, Sax and clarinet, so at least for me 2 octaves is the bare minimum.
I love the sound of these instruments, especially the bigger ones!
There's something in the timbre that reminds me of shakuhachi (I play a little shakyhachi, myself,) and that amazes me because you've been able to get such amazing sounds out of fipple flutes! I've liked the sound of fipple flutes until I found yours.
I like all the ranges of the rumi!
Ohmy. Am sending this to my flute-player partner. He's gonna be crazy. I am and I'm not a flute player. This is amazing.
the two last are truly amazing!
Hah ok thanks!
Those flutes are awesome. Love the sounds!
I just came across your vids today. Lots of true vibes. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻
thanks : ) my pleasure!
All sound great!
How wonderful!
This might easily be the best recommendation UA-cam has ever given me. I am so glad I clicked to open! I have now seen your entire website with your flutes and their videos, liked your facebook and written you an email!! Man I am so blown away with your craft and your instruments! You have great energy too. Looking forward to hearing from you Winne. Thank you for all you do.
hah!
These are breathtakingly-beautiful instruments.
great works Winne ! Thanks a lot for your inspirations !
My pleasure!
Great timbre, very nice work!
the deeper, the cooler to me. I wish i could make a French horn flute! Perhaps a 'florte'...or, in fact, any flute that sounds good!
I love the low rich tones! Love to have one.....
Glad for the return of your blog! Hope you continue in the new year! Entertaining and informative! Wonderful work.
Thanks glad you liked it :)
How much for say the d sharp ? 🤨
Please contact me trough my website to discuss these things :-) thanks! www.fujaraflutes.com

Oh thank you .. just trying my best and playing around ;-)

My pleasure :-) have fun with your instruments!
Congratulation.....that's a great instrument!
I really like the sound and the tuning in general but the Lower register blows my mind......
Great craftsmanship!

Very interesting project. Sounds great. Worth pursuing.
ok I will! :-)
Wow the low D is Fantastic! Well they all are, I'm going to have to save up.
Amazing
These are all very impressive and beautiful.
:)
Wonderfull 👍👍👍😍
Awesome!
:)
Our gift from the creator is our intelligence ( the ordering of behavior ). I applaud your use of it. Maestro
So interesting! I look forward to buy one!
always welcome!
@@1fujara but I did not find on your site this specific Rumi one...how can I order it? maybe in the key of A
Nice work 👌
thanks :-)
Your ney playing is good! I was not expecting that :-)
Oh still a beginner though, but thank you
@@1fujara yeah I was also surprised for some reason, you are so good on Ney
n'oublions pas que les vidéos sur youtube sont gratuites ... je vous remercie pour vôtre générosité, de partager vos son, vôtre art de Facteur en instrument, et le soins que vous apporté a la qualité des vidéos que vous faites ! un grand Merci ...
Thanks my pleasure! How do you mean I should not forget youtube video's are free?
effectivement pas gratuite ! mais non rémunératrice pour l'auteur ...
I love the sounds of the instruments you play, and I'm more impressed that you make some of them yourself. If I ever become wealthy I want you to come play at a anniversary for me and my wife.
would be my pleasure :)
Maybe my next flute! Lol. Love the f#
Wauw wat mooie geluiden prachtig Winne ...😁
Hah wel danku!
The Rumi is amazing! Would you ever be willing to publish your fipple design and Rumi measurements for aspiring makers like me to learn from your inovations? Ive been building purely Irish flutes but taken a keen interest in the Kaval recently (thanks to you) and would love to build one.
Seems like you reinvented the Turkish ney Winnie. Sounds wonderful. I liked the smallest the best. It is more ney like I think. My late uncle used to make them and he would be impressed with you.
oh ney still sounds more versatile though, but it's a good alternative for some ;-)
Wow
I hope you are well. How can i make flutes like that? I have bamboo.
😅 i love the sound
Do those use the same sound production principle of the flutes you made with PVC? ...the big one in D# sounds totally beautiful!!
❤ The last one
My favourite so far as well :-)
double❤
Hah yes a double version is coming as well :)
Good timing ❤ to launch new instruments !

It is fun to follow you working on this : )
A m a z i.n.g!! You re my hero now! Interesting discovery! You said that part of the scale on the Ney is found on the Romanian caval. The Anatolian ney differs from.the Egyptian ney. The caval must be Thracian. The tanbur must be Anatolian as the tonal system. The flutes preserve the tonal system. Anct.Greek flutes were found in Graves. The ney and the tanbur play together...the Mevlevi groups...
we need more about this flute! Are you still working on these?
Haha yes sure, im working on these still :))
Lovely! I am very interested in a rumi flute. I love that buzz on the over pressure! So beautiful.
I was wondering, is there any way i could get one made fine tuned to 432hz? 🙏🏼🌞✨💚
sure that is optional contact me trough fujaraflutes.com for inquiries please :))
you legend!
oh?
You are one of the best creation by God . Love from India
oh don't know about that but thank you for the appreciation!
thumbs up... : )
Peace and love brother! Is the any chance to know how to calculate the the holes position and diameter for RUMI flute in Rumanian scale kaval? I’ll be very very please full 🙏
I made that kind of a long, long time ago.nice sound
I doubdt it, this is a new instrument. Or did you mean fipple flutes with a ney tuning?
WILL YOU FEEL UNIQUE?
FROM MANY YEARS, I CREATE A HYBRID. ALSO MIX MOLDAVIAN CAVAL AND NEY.SEKRET SOUNDING NEY IS IN THE MOTHER'S FREQUENCY AND THICKNESS OF THE WALLS. THE BASIS OF RESONANCE. I WAS NOT THOUGHT TUNNING.
LIVE HEALTHY:)@@1fujara
@@user-Kruzelpracownia Hah sure I believe you did, many did it already probably :-) Just this one is diffrent. It has a new fipple style and sound. Have fun. Cheers!
I’m interested in purchasing the rumi flute.
be my guest, please contact me trough www.fujaraflutes.com to discuss your order
Send me that flute already! 😃

Hey Winne, I have one of your kavals in key of A in great shape. I find it a little difficult to maintain the low, breathy sound because it overblows easily. Could I trade it in for one of these?
Hello, Trading old used instruments for new ones is not possible, Its to personal, like a toothbrush ;-) kavals overblow easely yes, they have a thinner bore and that's what makes them so versatile and responsive. To keep a fat deep low sound use your lower lip in the soundwindow. That's the technique to keep it from overblowing and to get the raw deep sound. I have a video on here about this - good luck!
Hi winne,
Even een vraagje. Wat is de prijs van de Rumi in F en in D. Vg Peter Spiessens
What about smaller size flutes? I have small hands and short fingers.
Soundwise? ... couldn't decide between the Rumanian Kaval or any of the Rumis ... they all touched my heart equally 😁
They are very similair as well only one hole difference interval-wise :)
@@1fujara I also hear a slight difference in the "timbre". But as I said ... both types equaly heart touching for my taste ... couldn't decide which one I personally would go for. Anyhow ... wish you a peaceful holiday time from Zurich ... and who knows, maybe even meet once for a sound check at your place. Cheers Res
@@resb1714 yes offcourse that's where the big difference is in the sound feel and timbre, the Rumi has a much bigger bore and different fipple, plays and feels completely different. Sound check?
@@1fujara Exactly ... they need to be experienced live 😁!!!
Amazing. Are you selling those?
yes sure :) contact me trough fujaraflutes.com for more info
Anyone else immediately think of Big Bluff (Trigun?) when he first played? Anyone?
👍👍
How long is the G# Rumi flute? I have a nice case that would hold up to a 38" flute. Thanks.
Hey it's about 80 cm
you should show the new wind design you didn't show how it works you just played them. is there a plug or ?
it's a fipple yes
what is the difference between the Nikriz makam and the Romanian scale in this context.
You need a extra hole to be able to play nikriz maqam
Falling in love with your work brother, I am vocalist looking to venture outside of myself, seems the flute is just perfect for that, would you be willing to share with me how to measure out the tuning of these natural instruments, thank you for being you
how would that be of any help to you? tuning is just tuning by the way, its in the sound that the magic happens
I disagree, an octave can be divided in many ways
As I understand it, music is natural to human origin, when we align with our nature, we are closest to home, when we alter the tone, we distort our lineage, I was curious to see what scale intervals you were using
I love the last one you played i hope i can have measurements so that i can make my own rjmi pvc
Really beautiful. Is it named in honor of the sufi poet Rumi?
yes :)
@@1fujara excellent
nice flute...above your head , on the sealing, are pieces of wood drying??
yes :) elder mostely
@@1fujara around my childhood village elderberry grows naturally...hundreds of bushes...some are quite old!!
@@1fujara why do you burn with alkohol the inside of your flutes??
@@radudiaconu2851 to make the fibres stand up so I can afterwards polish the inside better
@@1fujara thx Winne, great tip...today I am picking up the post office 2 hand wood drillers...40 something years old...20 euro...and then i need dry wood ... I got some red plum available, but good only for whistles or two piece Kaval . Elderberry ... i put it to dry in the attic...any suggestions? PS i will make kavals only as a hobby and to sing with them
The video was filmed through a fish eye lens. This has a ' spherical aberration'...it is well visible if we look at the ceiling. However, the presented flutes look 'curved'...if the viewers are not familiar with the spherical aberration and its cause they may think that the flutes are curved due to workmanship. As a cameraman I strongly advise you to re-shoot the clip with a different camera.
Can I make that using a bamboo or pvc pipe?
youi could make something similar yes, but to get this specific sound you would need the right dimentions and wood or thick walled bamboo.
can you make these into hiking poles?
One could, sure why not
How it's made? Pleaseeeeeee))))
with passion and dedication ;-)
Your Instruments are so beautifule with a great sound....how can i get such Instrument? Greetings from Germany, Steffen😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
thank you :) Winne Clement

Do you sell these flutes
sure!
Plot twist: the ceiling is also made of flutes
hahah
How can I get your email? I m working on a documentary touching on Thrace...
I would really like to try your design blow hole on a Native American flute I am building. It would do away with the fetish and straps.
perfect sound and work friend! i wrote you a email. please answer me! thanks!!
Ok I will :-)
This sounds almost exactly like a duduk.
No...it is not rumi flute....it is MURI flute....
