    I worked at Parrot Cay for more than 6 years, nothing quite like it. Thanks for bringing back some memories.

    Great review, my friend! Great to see how the property has been elevated since my last stay. I also need to figure out where to find those linen beanbags that they have (need!) - LOL!

      Thanks so much, mate! I think you will find it to be the best in T&C and you'll def. appreciate the huge changes. Next trip, I'll ask Donna Karan where to get you those beanbags :) JK. wasn't even her villa

    Howard Stern vacationed here. On his show he said the houses were full of ants then the staff tried to exterminate the ants with some sort of poison which was giving Howard pounding headaches. He and his wife Beth left early.
    You see, even rich beautiful people can't avoid the everyday hassles we average slobs deal with.

    Beautiful! I'm looking into the Amanyara, but this looks like a serious contender. What time of year was this filmed, and what time of year do you recommend going?

    • @haotang
      @haotang  3 роки тому

      Dec - April is the peak season (this trip was first week of Dec). I then went to Amanyara right after, again. Been to both number of times and sent many clients as well. Very apples and oranges. Weather is amazing Dec - April. Summer rates are great if you can handle the heat and humidity. Aug - Nov is storm season.

    What do you think would be the best uber-private, amazing food, beautiful swimmable beach honeymoon hotel in the Caribbean? Parrot Cay or somewhere else?

    Great review. Thank you. Is this your favorite beach resort?

    • @haotang

      My pleasure and thanks! I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite. There are so many out there. Some lovely ones in Maldives and SE Asia, I also love the Brando, etc. But this is def. one of my favorites and currently my favorite in Caribbean by a noticeable amount.

      @@haotang My apologies, the question was too broad. Anyway you could contrast COMO Parrot Cay between Amanera and FS Cabo?

    • @haotang
      @haotang  3 роки тому +1

      @@jimpeyton8592 I'd rank COMO Parrot Cay, Nera then FS Cabo. You just can't beat the beach at Parrot Cay. It's not even close.

    What’s better this or Aman?

      At the moment, I prefer it over Amanyara. But these thing changes as the experience is heavily based on management philosophy/operations. But it also depends on the accommodation category you're considering. It's not apples to apples.

      I had the opportunity to work at both Parrot Cay and Amanyara. Should I have to choose between the two resorts I would go with Parrot Cay.

    If you could stay one place in Turks where would it be? Amarya, shire club, parrot cay or wyamara? They seem to be my top 4 but can’t decide

      I probably have this conversation on a weekly basis with clients :) At this moment (based on what management teams are in place at resorts), my favorite would be Parrot Cay - and specifically if you're going to be in a Beach House or above. The Shore Club and Wy. aren't not even remotely in the same league, however. So I'd forget about those two for sure. I actually stayed in Shore Club's Villa before and thought it was very sub-par.

      @@haotang great thank you! My only concern with parrot cat or even amanyara is If staying for a week, does the food options get old after eating the same one or two places everyday?

    • @haotang
      @haotang  3 роки тому +1

      @@DS-gc7us My pleasure. That depends on the person and I can see that being an issue for someone. However, my butler at PC was happy to also get chef to make off the menu items for me. I have had clients with very restrictive dietary requirements and the Parrot Cay chef did a great job accommodating. So you can always see about ordering things not on the menu. Just request it in advance to give the team time to prepare.
