  • An automatic turn signal canceler for bikes? Is this real life?
For 150€, this is quite nice - and works much better than I was expecting!

It's a neat idea. Don't know how well it implements and incorporates into the real world.

The new exhaust sounds very nice.It is deep and throaty but not harsh and it does not seem to be overly loud.

I guess that translated through the go pro, internet and computer speakers it made it sound more subdued. It actually reminds me of the Honda VTR1000 Superhawk that I had sound wise. That one was tolerable at idle or low revs steady throttle but got way loud quickly under acceleration.

    Hi Cager,
I would like to see you review the Can Am Spyder F3 please! Especially the version with the paddle shifters. I am 54 and am wondering if a Spyder would be easier on my arthritic shoulders.

Even though I trained myself to keep pressing the cancel button from time to time, even when riding straight I still sometimes miss turning the blinkers off...

I occasionally forget to cancel, usually when my focus gets shifted to other vehicles behaviour. I see this as a convenience item but not really a safety feature.

This won't be for me, sadly. It's a nice idea and all, but it's not fool proof. I feel like it would fail to to recognise a lane switch on the highway. I have to either completely be able to rely on it, or not have it at all. I'm sure some people can do both but I'd rather do it myself

First trushworthy reviewer that has it, until now i thought that was some kind of scam or so... but ... wow, it really works!

A "road book" - old school type, as used in rally sport for ages. You put in a scroll with directions and such stuff. While riding, you have to scroll on manually when reaching a designated point in your route. Kind of navigation system from stone age ;)

Sven Küper Interesting. Never seen that before. Great channel BTW. Keep up the good work.

I never used that myself but a friend of mine loves it. Gives more freedom than just following an electronic GPS device he says. Another pro is, that you have to plan your trip just with a map and a bit of thinking... so nothing just for a quick ride, but great for a well planned trip. Had him as a "tour guide" with this one time - the tour was great and just felt a bit more chilled and laid back ;)
If you check out the "Portugal End to End" videos from Cager, you can see this thing in action.

Well two things bother me. First is the price. 50 euros would be much better than 150E. Second, they should make it possible to have manual cancel control anyway.

    • @oldmangaming3715
      @oldmangaming3715 7 років тому

Cool, somewhat counterintuitive but I guess you get used to it as you use it for longer period. Now I say it can be near 100 Euros, 150 is to much for my pocket but then again I ride on a 28 year old bike and everything is expensive for me hehe.

One other thing, as you gear up your bike for the touring this little thing helped me a lot www.ebay.com/itm/Hot-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Throttle-Clip-Cramp-Rest-Assist-Wrist-Cruise-Control-/322544588808?hash=item4b1927d808:g:osgAAOSwUKxYddkG

i am riding now about 20 years motocycle and my thumb still can automatically canceles the signal....muhahaha, but now in modern times people must have for everthing a gadget and handle the GoPro Camera..the MobilePhone...the mp3-player and so on while driving/riding....some day only the electronicalAssistent is riding the bike..

they seem like a good idea until you hit traffic and the things turn off when you don't want them too.

It will not cancel too early, it is so well designed that it aimply knows what it needs to do. It really is a SMART device ;)

What is the point of them giving you a free sample and then you don’t even show us how to install it ...
Nobody needs to see a video of him driving around showing us that they work. We know they work.

I had the OEM time base cancelers on my Aprilia Scarabeo scooter and I hated them. Always shutdown at the wrong moment. If they gonna install something like that, then do it right or not at all. That is my opinion. Ride safe!

Why don't people just use the little switch and cancel them without needing a device.
