I'm always blown away how the apartments in Cambodia look so much nicer than the ones I stayed at in Arizona and they're 1/4 of the rent! I loved the little place I had on Street 20.

That’s great! A 1 bedroom in the same residence which is 7 to 8 minute drive to Old Market and Pub street is $300 and a 2 bedroom ,which is very large is $600 USD (excluding electricity). I'm impressed with that place - looks ideal for a couple. --- I'm alone and would prefer a bit less space to cool ! Maybe half the sq. footage would be ideal for just me & only one ac unit. --- Love the generator back up power & the elevators + being furnished. --- I'm old - retired on SS - and need to make it on my $1500 check ! > 'Dave in Cambodia' just did a budget video for expats on $800 SS Checks - living in Siem Reap & claims it can be done - even on a bit less ? - - - Seems to indicate I could maybe live on half my check - if need be - saving for a trip to Bangkok for a quality extensive medical checkup once a year ? - - - Have fun and enjoy your place ! 🙏 🤗 ❤ 👍 👊

How fast is the fast internet? In NZ anything over 950/450 mb/s is deemed fast, We call it hyper fibre. 10,000-100,000mb (10-100GB/sec) is very fast but it would cost a lot to to get more than two 8000/8000mb connections to your house.
Hi! Great question! Yes, I understand. In Canada my fiber optic internet speed was 1000 mb/s which was fast and it cost me $85/month.
In this apartment in Siem Reap the speed is around 90/80 mbs on a great day 😂 However it is free. Upgrading is available as far as I know but most of my UA-camr friends will just go to a cafe with faster internet. I can upload a 4GB UA-cam video which is around 10 minutes long in just under 25 minutes on Premier Pro. My friend in an apartment down the street who uploads much bigger files did get frustrated at times because he was uploading much bigger files on multiple computers. His speed was the same as mine. What kind of visa do you have to live there full time?
EB visa, know as an ordinary visa(E-Visa). Then you can extend it once for 6 months, then a second extension for 6 to 12 months with work visa permit included. I’m in my 30’s and live here so you will have no problem with visas here. If you need help let me know. I have the best connections in the city for visas. Drop of your passport and they do the rest. Easy
