not only that you can play as Emily, the once little girl in the first dishonored game now the empress, you can also play it without void powers. and just like before you can play it without killing anyone... you guys should really play this game. imho the game art style is still beautiful even now
Me playing Emily without Powers, without killing and in stealth… I was so glad beeing done! And the killing everything with Corvo on the second run xD One of my favorite games of all time!
8:40 With Domino, what happens to any of the people you've marked happens to the entire group, there's no one specific target you have to attack. And yes, having this wide array of weapons and powers in your arsenal is one of the things that makes the game fun; you'll always have options, and there's lots of ways to creatively approach encounters as a result.
I've played Dishonored 2 quite extensively and I have to say it's practically a must to go through it as both Emily and Corvo. They offer such different perspectives of the world, it's worth it not just for the change in gameplay but for the dialogue and worldbuilding. EDIT: Death of the Outsider is very much worth playing as well. It's shorter and there isn't a karma system in place as far as I could tell, but it's a good way to finish the overarching story.
Death Of The Outsider isn't really meant to be a standalone game. It's actually standalone DLC for Dishonored 2. Basically what The Knife Of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches would have been if they'd been released as standalone games.
Just to ease your fears somewhat, there is a difference between stealth, and non-lethal. For the "best" endings, you ideally want to go non-lethal (most targets have side objectives as ways to get rid of them without having to kill them). In Dishonored 1, the best way of achieving that was through stealth. In Dishonored 2, you have far more non-lethal weapons and powers at your disposal, so you can happily go as loud as you like and charge through the guards, still being able to do a pacifist playthrough.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yes the OP comment is totally right! THe game doesnt outright tell you how but there are ways to be in their face but non lethal, such as sleeping darts or using a gun to shoot people in the leg!
And so you return to this wonderful franchise! Absolutely love Dishonored, every game, so immersive and intense with well thought out and implemented lore. Probably one of my favorite game series ever. Next after 2 is Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, which is sort of both an expansion and a sequel, though I suppose there were 2 trailers for it at the end. They really need to hurry up and make a third main game. Cheers!😁 Quick notes: in 1 you play as Corvo Attano, Royal Protector to the Empress and father of the Empress' daughter, Emily. In 2, which takes place some 10 or so years later after Emily takes the throne at the end of the first game, you get the choice to play as Corvo again or as Emily. Whoever you don't choose spends the majority of the game as a statue. However, the story is sort of built around Emily being the protagonist, and her power set is a bit different than Corvo's. In reference to one thing that confused you, though you understood the gist of it, one of her powers(Domino) is to link the fates of multiple people so that what happens to one happens to all. Kill one, it doesn't matter which, and everybody you've linked dies. Fun. She also has shadow tentacles and all sorts of other fun, crazy abilities. Cheers!
The second dishonored is one of my favorite single player games! You have so many ways to play each level and your decisions can influence the story later on or the way that some of the levels look entirely. It has a ton of replayability and just being able to explore some of the unique designs they came up with such as Jindosh's mansion really set this game apart for me. The most fun is doing new game + where you can run around with both Corvo and Emily's powers and do whatever you want 😁
Yes! Dishonored 2! One of my favourite games out there. A very detailed world, a lot of lore that comes with it and a bunch of unique characters. Happy you guys reacted to it!
5:35 Yes she did kill them all at once. Its a skill where you can connect each npc together and doesn't matter who you shot fires but the rest connected to them will die too or knock out depending on what you do.
Dishonored 1 and 2 are real gems, both of them are incredible games that offer a level of player freedom rarely seen in gaming! Really hope we'll get a third one someday.
Dang dishonored is a great game, i love the details of the game where the world around you reacts to how you play, either way its a fun game to play, i love how it has parkour in 1st person
There’s two different videos made by the same guy, showing 80 ways to kill Jindosh, the target in the announcement trailer, and 100 ways to kill another antagonist, both with classical music playing in the background. It shows the freedom of creativity you have in the series
Also the powers corvo can use emily in game can too after a playthrough. Also thought something cool about possessing someone or something, like a rat or a bloodfly. Is you actually go inside the thing you are possessing and then come out its body. A creative combo is letting a guard shoot a bullet, bend time to freeze time. Then possess the guard and walk them in front of their own bullet, jump out their body and unbend time HAHA
To establish first, the reason Corvo and Emily Kaldwin have their powers is due to the Outsider granting them the powers (The outsider gave the powers to Corvo twice, kinda, in the first and this second game and you have a choice to refuse his gift, going with no powers at all). I'm sure you've gotten thoughts on how to use each power with each other, like using the domino power on your doppelganger, or bend time and start shooting a bunch of people so that you can focus on others opponents while bullets/crossbow bolts kill the rest once bend time stops , I know a youtuber who used these powers to their fullest potential, all they needed was creativity on how to use the powers, and now they've made kill montages on both games (and others, like Far Cry and such.), their name is Stealthgamerbr, if you aren't worried about any kind of spoilers, then I suggest checking him out rapidly killing guards and templars. One last thing, this game changes if you ever choose to kill everyone or kill nobody, plague and disease, blood fly nests and an overall darker atmosphere will appear more often depending if you kill too many people, and then you could worry less about those kind of stuff by killing nobody, you get choices as how to assassinate somebody, so all in all, you get to choose where you plan on going, if you want to be stealthy, if you want to rush in guns blazing and if you decide to use shortcuts that are found if you look carefully (like the glass roof in Jindosh's mansion).
That channel comes highly recommended and we probably won’t play Dishonored 1. May just start with two so maybe we will watch some of his stuff for that. 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Just a word of advice, they don't regularly take breaks while doing the missions, so try to keep up. (btw, Corvo's Powers from the second game are exactly the same from the first, so you won't be missing too much excitement when you start summoning plague rat swarms on people.)
So a funny thing happened to me in Dishonored 2. For once I decided to play non-lethal. So once I came to Clockwork Mansion I scoped out a nice hiding spot for the unconscious bodies and began combing the place for loot. Little did I know that once I flipped a switch the perfectly hidden body stash would bugg out due to the room moving, causing it to literally rain freshly made corpses Needless to say, I went back to my regular playstyle of seeing the Geneva Conventions and Happy Tree Friends as sources of good ideas. After all, when the only non-lethal playthrough I have made in years causes it to rain corpses, even I can take the hint.
TONIGHT! I'm bringin' Dunwall to life! As I walk on water, through walls 'O Light. You heard the king as the urchins sing, *"Revenge solves everything".*
One of the main things I love about dishonored, is the mysterious man that gives you powers, it's the ultimate power fantasy imo, when you so down in the dumps and someone with so much power decided to give you power to do as you please haha, it also reminds me of a manga I read called Pandra.
Watch the behind the scenes of them making this game. The clock work tower which is the building that is changing itself that is not just graphics. In order to make the game work every part of that structure is actually architected and developed in the code of the game. It’s awe inspiring how much work went into making this game.
Great game. Each level has multiple paths and options for completion, and Corvo and Emily have different power sets so there is a lot of scope for experimentation and replaying.
I know it sounds like a commercial but... In Dishonored you really want to explore cause in any basement, window or hatch can be something useful. Lots of activities, spells, weapons, enemies, traps. U can combine them in any way you want. Because of this u can still see new ways of walking through this game. And the level design. Arcane made the locations such that you can walk through going ahead, killing everything on your way, you can go through with nobody even knowing about you. And u can do the same without using abilities. That's why you should at least try it.
dishonored 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. y'all should definitely watch some more dishonored 1 and 2 stuff I highly reccomend stealthgamerbr and try to know as little about the gameplay as possible and just react to his brutal high chaos runs. that stuff is life changing
Dishonored was the first ever first person game I ever played when dishonored 2 was announced I was super excited. I got it for Christmas and basically finished it in two days, it wasn't until recently I played it again emily and complete it 100% got all of the runes and bone charms. I absolutely love this game and I wish there was a dishonored 3.
I know this has been suggested before, but there’s an official series of 3 shorts called Tales from Dunwall that establish the world pre-Dishonored 1. And when I say short, I mean each one is only 2 minutes, which sounds like the most insultingly easy Triple Trailer possible, lol.
The way u see them play is just one of 10-20 different ways of doing the missions too. N thats just a base, there will be loads of different methods u can use depending on if ur playing non lethal, lethal. Assault. U could even not touch anyone and just get to you’re target and then either kill them. Or non lethal takedown them.
Nice little fun fact, the voice actress for Emily in Dishonored 2 is the same actress that voices Bangalore in Apex Legends It took me a while to make the connection when I first played it
When Beth said that Corvo's mask looks like something from a nightmare she was actually spot on. The mask that was origanly crafted by Pierro for Corvo was made so that it would instil fear into his opponents and so that they would fear the ''masked killer'' (not a name acutally used in the game). Dishonored story is a bit on the weak side but the characters in it are great. I havent seen if you played it yet but i recommend it. DO NOT BE DECIVED, Dishonored looks like a stealh game but the powers and tools are actually made in a way that you can in fact blast thorugh enemies no stealth style. Its why i love the game because you can finish missions Leathaly, unleathaly and also silent and not silent. So really do not worry about sucking at stealth. The game and infacts all arkane games after dishonored focus heavily on PLAY YOUR WAY and is a line they use in every game. The map design allows for a ton of approaches not only stealthy and loud but also offers many many different altarnative ways to get to a destination (street, backstreet, through houses, on rooftops, vents, hidden pathways...) so you might find it enjoyable for its freedom. Not to mention the powers feel like you are the one using them and add a lot of utility in the game :D
Domino is a great power but it can also go very wrong, particularly if you are going for a non-lethal playthrough. For example, I carefully linked several enemies and shot one with a tranquilliser dart so that they would all be knocked out. Unfortunately one of them fell off a ledge to their death, killing all of them.
In isolation the powers are cool but it's about the synergy and using your imagination to execute the perfect string of murder that exists in your mind's eye. Corvo can Summon rats and he has the ability to use Possession, so why not possess the rat and use it to enter tiny vents or pass unnoticed? If Emily's Domino binds all your targets fates together, but you can't reach em, create a Doppelganger, connect it to your foes and murder your clone to kill everyone else in the room! They are costly to use in quick succession though, using a power burns mana, but you'll get half of it back as a refund back if you wait five seconds which encourages cautious planning and less thoughtless rampage.
What I love about this one you get to play Emily but you could also play as corvo which you can decide who you want to play at the beginning which is awesome Jin mansion is awesome and crazy
- Corvo Attano was the Royal Protector of the City Of Dunwall - the bodyguard to Empress Jessamine Kaldwin, who was murdered while under his protection, and he was framed for the murder. He's the main character of Dishonored 1, and one of the two main characters of Dishonored 2. - Daud, the Knife Of Dunwall, the leader of the guild of assassins called the Whalers. Daud is the assassin who killed Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. He's the main character of The Knife Of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches. - Empress Emily Kaldwin, daughter of Jessamine Kaldwin, the new Empress Of The Empire Of The Isles. The other main character of Dishonored 2, alongside her Royal Protector, Corvo Attano. - Billie Lurk, Daud's right-hand woman, 2nd in command of the Whalers. She's the main character of Death Of The Outsider.
So Corvo and Emily both have unique powers that allow a different play style. Emily is more indirect and deception based preferring to play a bit more carefully where as corvo is a duelist so his play style is much more direct and aggressive.
I remember being so hyped for Death of the Outsider, not because I wanted to kill him cause he's my baby 😂 but because I'm a huge Dishonoured fan and well it wasn't the best. 1 is by far the best, 2 is good because you can play as Emily ❤ and because I love Hypatia (Jykll and Hyde). Can't remember how to spell her name been so long since I last played these amazing games.
one of the best underrated series ever let somebody know know that Dishonored death if the outsider has another sequel SPOILERS for a certain game the game called deathloop made by arkane studios it is basically conformed by the end that there in the same universe bit there's tons of more evidence besides the ending if you've read the dishonered books
truth be told, the dishonored franchise is probably one of the most underrated stealth fps franchises. I loved the first one, basically sniffed all the DLCs and also loved the 2nd one. many preferred the old dishonored over 2, but it has rerally memorable set pieces, characters, gorgeous graphics and artstyle and while the new skills you get might be a little OP, it is cool to be able to play as different figures with different abilities and also approach the missions different, enhancing replay value. but also the world building is superb, as is the artstyle. such a great game series. and other gamers have made a artform of real fast kills and basically dashing through the city with their abilities, check out some videos on youtube. I would consider myself a pretty good gamer but always feel I am a noob compared to those people.
Play the game please. You can always switch it up. One of you could play as Corvo and for example try not to kill anybody while the other plays as Emily and kills everybody. But I really recommend doing stealth and exploring if so because the game takes like 5 hours if you just run and gun. Also the last trailer for Death of the Outsider we play as Billie Lurk and she has amazing powers too. She can leave a mark and teleport to it later. She can stop time and send her soul to look around and plan out the approach (and leave the mark if needed) and she can steal other ppl faces to appear as them to others.
So with the chain power, what you do too one happens to all, if you kill one they all die and if you put one to sleep they all go night, night. I do not remember if you can do this in the first game, but in two you can turn down having the Outsider's gift of the power you can use in the game and do the hole game with no magical powers. Loved all three games because To Kill the Outsider is a game all by its self. The female assassin you play in that one was you companion in the second game and lastly one of the assassins who attacked and kill the queen in the first game. Keeping it in the family so to speak. So you two have a great day and STAY SAFE.
despite all the murder in the trailers, the Dishonored series a few is of the games that you can finish without killing anyone... at least directly, you can still frame the bosses or hand them over to their creepy admirers or something like that
In this Game you can play as either Corvo (the protagonist from the 1st game) or Emily (Corvo's Illegitimate Daughter) you also get to learn more about the Outsider (the Voice from the 1st trailer and the one who speaks to Corvo in the Cinematic Trailer from the 1st game). These games were great though, absolute freedom in how you play, from Killing Everyone to killing no one, with many ways to traverse the map and the ways you dispose of your targets (Check out StealthgamerBR to see the absolute carnage he displays in this series)
Ik its probably obvious but i noticed the videos didnt touch on it much the empress and girl corvo was accused of killing in the first game was emily and her mother and corvo is Emily's father
LETSSSS GOOOOOOOOO IM SO HAPPY RN THANKS GUYSS FOR REACTING TO DISHONORED 2, Now all we need is that Jojo eyes of heaven reaction and I can die happy lol
Dishonored is a rare type of game. You can play it in a million ways and the world building is so unique. I highly recommend you watch Stealthgamerbr play these games. He plans entire murder choreography of sorts lol
One of the things I liked about Dishonored 2 was that it finally confirmed that Emily was Corvo's daughter. It was heavily hinted at in the first game, but never stated outright.

U could even not touch anyone and just get to you’re target and then either kill them. Or non lethal takedown them.
Lots of options 😅
Nice little fun fact, the voice actress for Emily in Dishonored 2 is the same actress that voices Bangalore in Apex Legends
It took me a while to make the connection when I first played it
Dan Bull does some excellent video game songs, including a great one for Dishonored 2
We’ve seen him once or twice in some ERB videos 🙂
Just beat this game for the first time like two weeks ago, absolute blast to play even if you are trying to not kill anyone the whole time
😎🤟 perfect timing
Domino is a great power but it can also go very wrong, particularly if you are going for a non-lethal playthrough. For example, I carefully linked several enemies and shot one with a tranquilliser dart so that they would all be knocked out. Unfortunately one of them fell off a ledge to their death, killing all of them.
Oh damn! Bad luck 😳
That’s pretty cool with the different combos of powers this offers. Makes for some fun gameplay I imagine 🙂😀
What I love about this one you get to play Emily but you could also play as corvo which you can decide who you want to play at the beginning which is awesome Jin mansion is awesome and crazy
It’s nice they give you the option. 😀
Can't remember how to spell her name been so long since I last played these amazing games.
one of the best underrated series ever let somebody know know that Dishonored death if the outsider has another sequel
SPOILERS for a certain game
the game called deathloop made by arkane studios it is basically conformed by the end that there in the same universe bit there's tons of more evidence besides the ending if you've read the dishonered books
Arkane are absolute wizards at what they do. Dishonored 2 and Prey are two of my favorite games of all time.
😎🤟
truth be told, the dishonored franchise is probably one of the most underrated stealth fps franchises.
Nice review of the franchise 🙂
Play the game please. You can always switch it up. One of you could play as Corvo and for example try not to kill anybody while the other plays as Emily and kills everybody.
But I really recommend doing stealth and exploring if so because the game takes like 5 hours if you just run and gun.
Also the last trailer for Death of the Outsider we play as Billie Lurk and she has amazing powers too. She can leave a mark and teleport to it later. She can stop time and send her soul to look around and plan out the approach (and leave the mark if needed) and she can steal other ppl faces to appear as them to others.
That’s actually a fun idea to switch players between us so we each have our own style 🙂
loved that you guys got back to dishonored. I hope you also continue the Dead by Daylight Parody, they do get better
We will continue those on the other channel for sure 🙂
delilah is the villan from the the dishonored dlcs and she is the main villan in dishonored 2
😎👍🙂
So with the chain power, what you do too one happens to all, if you kill one they all die and if you put one to sleep they all go night, night. I do not remember if you can do this in the first game, but in two you can turn down having the Outsider's gift of the power you can use in the game and do the hole game with no magical powers. Loved all three games because To Kill the Outsider is a game all by its self. The female assassin you play in that one was you companion in the second game and lastly one of the assassins who attacked and kill the queen in the first game. Keeping it in the family so to speak. So you two have a great day and STAY SAFE.
Thanks for the info on the chain power and game DDC 🙂
ahh my favorite video, the wildcard Wednesday...
😊🤗🥳
Thank you for the react!!
Our pleasure 🙂
I hope dishonored is on the stream list
despite all the murder in the trailers, the Dishonored series a few is of the games that you can finish without killing anyone... at least directly, you can still frame the bosses or hand them over to their creepy admirers or something like that
This franchise is phenomenal!!!!
That’s a channel we plan to check out for sure 🙂
great video! it would be really cool if you check all the hotline miami trailers!

LETSSSS GOOOOOOOOO IM SO HAPPY RN THANKS GUYSS FOR REACTING TO DISHONORED 2, Now all we need is that Jojo eyes of heaven reaction and I can die happy lol
Haha, 😜 Glad you enjoyed it 🥳
Dishonored is a rare type of game.
Dishonored seems a good game, but I really like arkanes other game prey. That's a fantastic game. Fantastic video, keep being awesome
Have been seeing a lot of love for that game 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames prey is absolutely amazing. Great gameplay and interesting abilities.

@Definitely Not Definitive - Games - It is possible for you to make video reaction about Resistance: Fall of Man / Resistance 2 / Resistance 3 (cutscenes) or Metal Gear Solid Revengence?
Have both on our request list 😇
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I am slowly working on my youtube channel - i aquired yesterday 18 TB HDD so i can record now a lot of videos and edit them. For example for me recording 1 file 30 min of video takes 250-300 GB Disk Space. I record video Files on 500000-700000 Bitrate(insane visual+audio quality). I also planning on starting cutscene section from games(Game movie style). It's a lot of work, but yeah xD
It's such a shame they changed the voice actor of the Outsider just because he used weird id in the game. I'd still prefer the 1's.
The only part of dishonored 2 I didn’t like was Corvos redesign. Everything else was better than in 1
Near perfection 😉
I don’t like that he has no hood anymore which exposes his hair which looks kinda of funny with the mask. Also I don’t like that the make is white and is now more angular. The mask looked way cooler in 1
That being said I still prefer playing as Corvo over Emily because he is my guy
you're great! with love, from russia ❤
😊🤗
I'd love to see a reaction to stealthgamerbr, just to see the games at their max insanity
We will be checking out some of their stuff in the future 🙂
I'll go ahead and save you allot of trouble. Save right before the end so you can choose 2 different endingsm
